Aykhal

As the international community began to produce commercials to promote their nations, Aykhal foreign affairs bureau decided it was high-time for Aykhal to enter the advertising ring as well. With a small budget, Aykhal wanted their nation represented not from the states point of view, but the people's. Handing the job over to a few students majoring in graphic design, the commercial was completed within a few weeks. -It's style was simple, entertaining, and to the point; in a pseudo-typography using images one might use text.
Foreign Affairs presented the following.
Snow falls on a darkened screen; as search-lights waves through the dismal sky in a shadow of a city, set upon the horizon. -Wind whistles. Soon music begins, as shapes turn and manifests into text reading "Aykhal." The music is uplifting, powerful. -A mighty military chorus. It plays for the reminder of the commercial.
"Born in the heart of the North." the text reads, a statue with an arm raised behind a red and white backdrop.
The camera falls, revealing marching paper soldiers as it zooms through a city of old photographs; prior to blasting into space, as a satellite flies by.
"Inspired by visionaries." A man's face is revealed.
"Defined by ideals." the backdrop slides around, moving in another man's face.
"Made with Northern Spirit!" Paper troops dance and march forward before old images of the capital.
An image of a globe spins, with Aykhal darkened red.
Thousands of old photographs of men long remembered fly past, before a sea of faces appears beneath a red flag dancing in the wind.
"The world calls it auspicious. Here, we call it Aykhal."
