Thank you for considering Saint Rand International School of Liberal Arts and Sciences for continuing you’re educational. Inserted in this letter is an information packet on our school.
The City of Saint Rand:
The school is located in the Saint Rand, the Co-Capital of both Randovium and Onimar. The city itself is located on Angeles Bay, which is at the very tip of the Ryle Peninsula. It’s a large city home to about 10 million, 3/4th of which is on the Onimar side but all enjoy free access to the to both sides. Founded by Saint Rand, a Randovium missionary who originally built it as a small trading colony between the then Islands of Randovium and the Empire of Onimar. The two administrative sides are separated by Alliance Boulevard a highway that runs right down the middle of the city.
The University itself:
The school is located just on Alliance Boulevard next to the beaches that span much of the bays coast. From its observation tower one can see the span of the entire city, from the great statue of Saint Rand himself to the Emperor’s Forum (A massive bazaar) on the Onimar side of the city.
It consists of 5 main buildings and several smaller ones which are as follows:
The Administrative office which is the smallest of the main buildings is located right on Alliance Boulevard. This is where the application processes will take place and many of the school councilors are located.
The David Drake Athletic Center also known as the “Double D” by students is located on the northern end of campus. The school has a fully funded athletic system, having several sports consisting of Soccer, Rugby, Track and Field, Cross Country, Golf, Basketball, swimming, boat racing and various gymnastic athletic teams. The school teams are known as ‘The Saints.’
The Dorm Complex is located at the center of the school to allow students easier access to the rest of the buildings. The Dorms are decently sized at 14 by 32, split between two people. Every suite comes with a kitchen and bathroom both shared by two rooms. At maximum capacity the complex can hold 40,000 students. You can request to have your own dorm from a little extra.
The Rand Arts Center is located east between the Sports and Science Center. Here is where the Liberal Arts classes are taught and school events will be held.
The Franklin Balixum Science center is located southeast near the water front. This is where research into the Natural Sciences takes place and classes often go to the shore front to study aquatic life.
Commonly asked questions by students:
Q: What classes are offered at Saint Rand University?
A: A list of classes will be included with this letter.
Q: Co-capital, what do you mean?
A: Well, technically Onimar’s Capital is the city of Morte located far north of here, but this is only cultural as the Emperor makes his home there. But Onimar’s Parliament, which exorcises equal or sometimes more power then the Emperor is located at Saint Rand, along with the majority of the political embassies. The reason for this is for better political relations between the two nations.
Q: I heard a few ‘substances’ are Legal in Randovium, are these legal in Onimar as well?
A: Well, not in the extent that Randovium offers, but substances are tolerated on the Onimar side.
Thank you for choosing our school if you’re interested let us know and we’ll send more information.
