"Today is a great day for the people of the former Kingdom of Belshazzaria. The dark oppressive theocracy that stood for over a century has fallen," came the voice over the radio, "The King has been removed from his throne as has his Prime Minister and his other cohorts. The Duke of Dagda and the Prince of Anwynn joined forces earlier this year and began their revolution against the Belshazzarian King, Darius. This foreign leader, this religious fanatic has been dethroned and his forces will never rise again."
It was all over the news in the former Region known as the Empire of Belshazzaria. A new nation was rising from the ashes. All the other nations had fallen away and retreated from the new conglomeration of the Principality of Anwynn and the Duchy of Dagda. Prince Conall had bent knee to Duke Argyl.
Then came the ceremony of ceremonies, when Argyl took the throne of the Grand Duchy of Dagda Anwynn, ruler of Anwynn (a region). His speech was short, "Ne Parcas Nec Spernas, These were the words of my ancestors. 'Neither Spare nor Dispose'. We have not spared the dark King Darius, nor shall we dispose of our homes, Dagda or Anwynn. Let our two nations join, and though we are small, we will rise!"
