To: His Royal Highness the Duke of New York
From: King Rudo I, Monarch of the Constitutional Monarchy of Tremarendakia
Subj.: Marriage Proposal
Your Royal Highness,
It has been brought to my attention by my son, Prince Rudo, that your daughter, the Princess Irene, is eligible for marriage. After research into the matter, I have decided that she is of suitable lineage to marry Tremarendakia's Crown Prince. If this arrangement would suit you, Rudo would be happy to meet Irene before they wed. If this meeting is unnecessary or unable to be scheduled, I am sure something could be arranged.
Tremarendakia awaits your reply,
His Majesty King Rudo the First

After recieving your letter, my daughter has become interested in meeting Prince Rudo and would not mind visiting your nation in order to meet him, she would like to know him better before walking down the aisle and marrying him in an official and formal ceremony. Thank you for considering my daughter as a bride for your son.
Signed,
Henry, The Duke of New York

Subj.: Re: Re: Marriage Proposal
Princess Irene will be happily received in Tremarendakia. Prince Rudo is currently vacationing in Dwelmant ah Naerum, and Irene's presence there would undoubtedly be most welcome. Dwelmant ah Naerum International Airport is more than accommodating to house your preferred means of travel for her while she stays, and I will notify Rudo of Irene's imminent arrival.
Looking forward to the future,
His Majesty King Rudo the First
(OOC: We don't necessarily have to roleplay the entire meet-greet thing out, if you'd like, I'm rather lax on those types of things but it's up to you.)

(OOC: How do you propose that we do this, Tremarendakia?)

Prince Irene is on her way to Dwelmant ah Naerum International Airport and her plane should soon land in the city. I hope that the meeting between Irene and Rudo is productive and that they can build a relationship which leads them into the marriage.
Signed,
Henry, the Duke of New York

(OOC: I'm not sure. These types of RP don't really interest me, to be honest, though this marriage will be helpful in the future. We could just let this end and announce the marriage in a short IC thing, or we could do the whole RP from front to back. Really up to you, but I'm leaving shortly for the night, so whatever we choose will be hasty tonight or wait until tomorrow.)

(OOC: I understand what you are saying. I think that perhaps we could fast forward to the wedding and assume that they met and grew to like each other and fall in love. If you would like to skip the meeting part and just go to a wedding, I am alright with that.)

(OOC: Fine with me. I'll assume the wedding in in Tremarendakia, seeing as Princess Irene stands to benefit more from the marriage than Rudo does.)
Crown Prince Wed to Bhreatain Mhorian Princess
AP - Dwelmant ah Celestin
Chapel bells across the nation were ordered to ring at 0430 hours today, the precise moment when Crown Prince Rudo II of Tremarendakia and Princess Irene of Bhreatain Mhor were wed in holy matrimony. This royal marriage solidifies relations between the two nations into a marriage alliance, and also ties the Bhreatain Mhorian lineage into the Tremarendakian. The couple's children will be forerunners for the crown as they age, and only time will tell what this merged blood will merit for the future.
