The ASoGM is in the process of replacing its inventory of .45 cal Mac-10s with 9mm Brugger & Thomet MP-9s, to reduce the number of calibers of ammunition it has to produce. Because of this replacement, the ASoGM has a 1,000,000 unit surplus of Mac-10s that it would like to sell on the open market. The price will be $350 USD each (money to be wired before shipping will commence), and if all 1,000,000 are bought by one nation, ASoGM will include its current inventory of 50,000,000 rounds of .45 ACP ammunition for free (since ASoGM will not need it).

Yes, I'm a spoilsport. Any player can manufacture and use real-life arms and equipment in NS without having to buy them from another player. It's a general convention of RP. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MAC-10)

OOC: Indeed they can. This, however, does not preclude players the opportunity to sell off old surplus on-the-cheap, along with free ammunition, nor does it diminish the possibility of some two-bit army or underground terrorist organisation being interested in buying such.

We do not currently have blueprints, since we have not produced these in quite some time. However, we do have some specifications for these weapons.

The Ingram Mac-10 is a well proven design, dating back from 1970, and the .45 ACP is a veteran of many battles, being originally designed in 1906.

I appreciate your business. The Mac-10s, as well as the 50,000,000 rounds of .45 ACP are on their way as we speak.

We would like to you produce a special variant of the P-90. We would like you to make it capable to fire .45 ACP rounds. WE are not concerned about the increase size to accommodate for the new round. Also we would like it to come with a Tazor and an A-2 Grenade launcher. And if possible attach silenced, and flash suppressions as well. We would also like you to have sections made for laser and flashlights to be attached.
Name your price and begin production of 40,000 units., and 100,000,000 rounds

We will begin immediately on the design. Just out of curiosity though, why are you interested in the .45 ACP round vs the 5.7mm round? The 5.7mm round has a higher velocity and better armor penetration than the .45 ACP.
OOC: Not to mention it'd kinda kill the thing's ammo capacity (probably to about 20 rounds or less) and weight, both of which are kinda the entire point of the P90...

OOC: Well, .45 ACP is 11.43mm in diameter, which is a hair over twice the 5.7mm that the P-90 currently uses. So, I'm thinking the capacity would be somewhere in the 20-25 round range, too (although Arab-Canada did say he wasn't concerned about the size increase for the new round, so I could probably increase the capacity to 30+, in exchange for a longer length magazine and overall increased weapon length).

OOC: Some people have doubts as to the 5.7x28mm cartridge's stopping power versus un-armoured targets. However, it strikes me that it would be cheaper and better to simply buy .45 UMPs or something instead of radically redesigning a more expensive weapon so that it can use a round that it really shouldn't be using.
Of course, it could just be that the P90 looks cooler. :)

Well, yeah, but also adding a grenade launcher AND taser... You're getting rather far into assault rifle size and weight there, with a crappy short range bullet to boot.
