It was a normal day in the city of Hlaau. The House Hlaau members went about their administrative tasks and the citizens lived the freest lives in the Void. It was about three in the morning, and the Hlaau border guards were off duty, chatting and watching the TV. Then, suddenly, a canister landed next to the soldiers. Emitting a black smog, it burned the soldiers eyes. A few hundred men, dressed in black armor and gasmasks, opened fire on the guards. They fell like dominoes to the torrent of fire. In front of the unit stepped Lord Narcissus of the Sixth House.

House wars were usual, of course. Sometimes a house would step out of line, and the Sixth House would have to step in to restore order. Now, however, their reason was clear. Retaliation. Earlier in the year, a group of Hlaau terrorists seeking independence attacked and killed a group of police officers stationed in House Templar.

Only a few hours later, Narcissus stood on the peak of Mount Evangil, watching the smoke curl from the blacked remains of the city and inhabitants. Every man, woman and child in Hlaau had been executed in some way, shape or form.
"That'll... teach them." He turned and got back into his helicopter.

Images smuggled out of Void Templar spread out into the Commonalitarianism news networks. Pictures of burnt out buildings, the charred body of a child clutching a toy, a smoldering tracked vehicle, bodies stacked like chord wood for disposal. How they got onto the net was a mystery, but they were there. A pall of smoke hung over the dead city.

In the Citizens Assembly, Senator Ohyes and Senator Cruon were debating, we need to place sanctions against Void Templar. No we must blockade their entrance into our space. Nothing seemed to be happening. For all appearances it appeared to be a pointless debate. HAving no idea what the internal politics of Void Templar were, there was no real understanding of why it happened.

But, the sentiment was there, the Void Templar had destroyed their own cities, therefore, they were barbarian savages in the eyes of the democratic commons.

In Liberty Square, on the Planet Paradise, various sophonts milled around with placards, holopictures, and other paraphernalia making statements against Void Templar, how we had to isolate them, how they should not be permitted in our space.

In the back rooms of the Commonalitarianism, in the Office of Economic and Special Warfare, a shadowy figure sat drinking wine from a cup. He new that there would be trouble. It would next to impossible for the privateering groups to not take advantage of this situation. Sentiment was on their side.

On the border of Void Templar space, a small group of privateering cruisers waited for an opportunty to seize cargo ships, barbarians deserved no respect, they were fair game. The privateering Captain, Marcus Ohyes, had readied communication jamming equipment, armed his crew, and followed the passage of ships in the area for the last week. Hopefully, they would be able to capture some prizes.

the Proximan spies had been captured trying to make their way through Commonwealth space. The Captain of the CSS Avenger looked over the spies intellagence materials with increasing trepadation. Unfortunately he would of course have to release the spies at the Proximan border. It was truly supprising that the Proximans were sending out spies, usually they were isolationists in nature. well nothing for it he left his ready room and gave the order to escort the Proximans back to their borders imeadiately.

the Secretary of Defence walked into the Presidents office and layed down the captured intelligence. The president looked up at him a bit supprised, Whats up Dennis I was just planning my state visit to that planet. You know the one being called Swamp. Ummm sir the Secretary said, I think you may want to hold off for a bit on that visit. In fact you may wanna recall the 5th and 6th from manouvers in the Califas Corridor. Raising one eye the president asked the Question, Has something occured that you haven't informed me about. Well sorta said the Secretary, Take a look at this. Grabing up the Compudisk and poping it into the viewer. Images of Military forces from what looked to be the Void Templers killing a bunch of civilians filled the screen. The President looked up in shock. What the hell is this, where did this come form the president screamed. Well sir we confiscated this Intelligence from a group of Proximan Spies that attempted to make a detour through our space in an attempt to throw of pursuit. To bad that they just happened to pop outta hyperspace in the midst of the 4th over in the Califas Corridor or we would have probibly never gotten this information. The President imeadiately ordered the secretary of defence out of his office while he pondered what he would do. Punching up his comm screen and setting it to secure he placed a call to the Commonalitarianism, as well as The Xiscapian Empire. He had to move quick so as to stop any further such events in the future.

Foxfire was shocked. Images of Void Templarans killing each other filled the holo screen before him. Finally he turned it off. "From Schwullunde?" he asked shakily. The aide before him nodded. "Get a scout ship out there, as fast as you can."
As scout ship dropped from Space Station Protector's hanger and quickly made the hyperspace jump to Void space.

The Schwullunde president called up the Commonalitarianism defense forces, Strategos Ralk answered the line, "Hello, Mr. President, I understand there have been some difficulties in the space of Void Templar. We are of course assessing the situation. The news leaked before we could fully understand the situation."

A data disk is sent over encrypted channels to Schwullunde. The images are terrifying. Apparently, an astronomical probe designed to collect general information had been in system, and had picked up the footage unedited being broadcast from a local holovision station in the city as it was overrun and beamed it directly to an astronomical research outpost. From the research outpost, the holovision images were spread over the subspace net catching like wildfire.

The man sipping wine looked through several reports, they had no assets in Void Templar space. He coughed a couple of times and took a long drag from a cigarette. His eyes were bloodshot. They would need to place assets in that space quickly. He called up information on the wrecking yards and shipyards for any possible ships that might have records or once been Void Templar ships.

Thank you for your intelligence Strategos . We caught a couple of Proximan spies attempting to move through our space. After a complete examination of their systems we came across a similer file containing much the same information. This must be stoped from happening again. We have contacted the Xiscapians as well and sent them a copy of our data. With your permission we will transfer your information to them as well in way of confirmation of the intelligence. We are prepairing to handle this matter as we speak. We have recalled the 5th and 6th Fleets in responce. We will wait until we have confirmation from you and the Xiscapians to move into full military action.
we are also paying close attention to the Alphans and Proximans just in case they decide to make a move against the civilised nations.

Cargo Capacity: Originally designed to house 60 tons of cargo, and five passengers, much of this space has been replaced with extra sensor equipment, increased engine capacity, and other equipment. It currently has ten tons of cargo capacity, and room for three passengers.

Sensor Suite: This ship is designed to have a very extensive sensor suite, everything from ground penetrating space based radar, gravity sensors, radar, magnetic detectors, full spectrum infrared and other optical sensors, and other scanning equipment.

Listening and Recording Equipment: Subspace scanners, ansible and communication interception equipment, AI decryption programs. Recording equipment for video and other feeds.

Communication Equipment: This ship uses a special ansible, it functions on the concept of quantum simultaneity or Bell's Theorem, there is no apparent signal beam between the sender and receiver. The signal still uses quantum encryption.

Cloaking and Non-Detection Equipment: Outer hull, optical skin made of metamaterials that refracts scanners and matches the background it is flying in. The ship is visible close in as a clear glasslike object which casts no shadow. The inner hull uses a combination of bioceramics, and diamondoids to avoid detection by sensing ferrous objects. The majority of the ship is made of bioplastics, biomaterials, diamonds, ceramics and other non-ferrous materials. The ship uses a mixture of optronics, bio-computers, and prism computers limiting electronic and electromagnetic signature. What little electronics there are are shielded from detection. The ship avoids mass detection by using a clear metamaterial coating that diffracts ions used in mass spectrometers.

OOC: The thing about this is, the Sixth House (The House of Templar) are the real rulers, not the official rulers, but they are the strongest. The current Empress, Tara Whyt, is of the House of Whyt.

IC: A few days after the incident, in all the Houses was broadcast the same clip of the Sixth House troopers ruthlessly executing every person in Hlaau. Soon after that clip was a live video from Narcissus, standing in the Barracks of the SXN Necrontyr.
"Our soldiers have exe...cuted the people of Hlaau, because of... recent terrorist acts upon... the civilians of House Templar. Our retribution... was just." The image then cut out.

A small convoy of supply ships, protected by a few Vulture-class cruisers, headed for the planet Divine Varandia.

Marcus Ohyes saw an opportunity. He had stripped the cruisers under his command of all insignia. There were six of them. Each cruiser had also welded on docking ports for two small attack craft. In the back of the cruisers was a strange looking ship, it had various dishes and antennae attached. Marcus had spent quite a bit to get it.

He sent a comand to the ECM and scanner ship. In the week they had been watching, they had identifed standard communication channels, A powerful jamming field was sent out.

The cruisers came in fast using the cover of a large asteroid for ambush, firing a volley of laser fire, two fusion missiles each, and and several carbon tungsten railgun rounds at the escorts.

The fighters followed charging up their close in particle beam weapons.

The scoutship dispatched from Xiscapia observed the attack. It was cloaked and some miles away, but it's cameras easily picked up the battle in detail and recording it.

The President in coded communication with the Commonalitarianism And Xiscapian Military commands says,Greatings Gentleman. we have completed assembling our primary military forces. The 5th and 6th fleets have linked up with the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Corps of the Schwullunde Army. We have armed them with every weapon system that we have in our arsonal. we await conformation to move on with the mission.
Coded: each fleet contains 150 ships, primarily containing on heavy warships, medium cruisers, and light frigates. Armaments usually include Ion-plasma cannons,and Hellfire missles. secondary systems include Cloaking Systems, and variable freq-shields. most of the heavier ships carry anywhere from 1000-1500 fighters of various types. the lighter ships have been equiped with the common varients of the hunter-seeker drones, including the penatrator drone which is equiped to rip into enemy ships.(cannot remember their other name). the army Corps are made up of about 5 divisions each, made up of 5 bragades, each containing 5 battalions, of which have 5 companies. each company contains about 150-200 men each. They usually have their own transport ships.most soldiers are also equiped with the personal cloaking system(similer to the "predator" system)

Strategos Ralk to the Schwullunde president, "To attack without intelligence could be a fatal mistake, we need to know the disposition and firepower of their fleets. If it is truly an internal affair, there may be divisions within Void Templars we can take advantage of."

As we speak we are dispatching three spy ships. They will move to the outer edge of the Void Templar's system, and launch a volley of three cloaked, GIS mapping probes. The probes cloaks are not the best because of the amount of detection equipment on a standard probe. The probes will self destruct if captured.

While the probes are moving in system, the spy ships will use passive scans, that means picking up general system traffic to try and understand what is happening in Void Templar space.

Assembled for the confrence on comm screens was the Head Admiral Krystal, Master General of the XGA (Xiscapian Grand Army) Dom, Commander of the Xiscapian Shadow Operations, Robs, and Brigadier General Skyler, who heads the Mechanized Division. Robs speaks now. "We have a spy ship in the Void system, it's scouting out the planet. Indeed, I agree with Honorable Strategos Ralk-San, we shouldn't act until more information is gained. Probes of our own are flitting around the system even now, searching for clues." Krystal speaks now. "We can supply the first and second Assault Fleets to assist the Schwullunde fleets should it come to that."

The shots hit the front three transports, destroying them. The Vultures turned and opened fire on the cruisers, while the transports ejected their cargo. The transports then moved away, leaving the cruisers behind.

Further away in the system, the TSF Dionysus watched the battle with intrest. It appeared other forces were at work against the Sixth House.

Gentleman we agree about the need for intelligence. It could prove fatal to go in without being absolutely certain that there is no other alternitive. If there is any divisions amongst the houses of the Void Templers maybe we can find allies amongst them. Of course we have to be absolutely certain that whichever houses can be helpfull would not end up being a bigger threat. We will hold position within our borders until such time as it can be assertained wheather or not military action is necessary. I personally hope that no further such attrocities happen during the meantime, that would prove unfortunate. Unfortunately we cannot hope for any assistance from the Algol, as you know gentleman they prefer to stay out of military conflicts unless they have no other choice. Let us hope that this situation does not cause the other nations to enter the fray with ideas of taking advantage of the matter.

On Alpha Prime: a Dark figure emerges out of the darkness and whispers to the Tash-Khann. Pay close attention to the situation that is brewing in the lands of the Haaghhh. Perhaps you can take advantage of this situation to Return the Alphan empire to pre-emmanance in this Quadrent, And Destroy the Chaach-Haaghhh

Haaghhh.. This word is dificult to translate, It means something like "life enemy" usually applied to those who are not Alphan. With the prefix Chaach- it specificaly refrences the Proximans.

The vultures fire on the closing warships destroying the front two cruisers as they close in balls of fire. They also destroy four of the closing fighters.

The eight remaining fighters have powered up their particle beam cannons and open fire on the the vultures. They are attempting to disable the vultures shields.

The four remaining cruisers also fire their lasers at the cruisers. They use their railguns to dispense explosive mirror chaff rounds instead of firing them at the ships. They also prepare their point defense lasers to take out incoming missiles.

The big ship behind the cruisers starts moving out from behind the asteroid. Several of the dishes are starting to glow.

OOC: Thread's been dead for a while, but I've dug it up. I computer died, but I really want to finished this RP before my Festival of Skorn RP gets started. So, without further adue...

IC: The missiles are all destroyed in a blaze of fire. The Vultures, already in near death, begin suicide runs at the attacking ships.
