The Lansing-Mitchell Weaponeering Company opens its doors to the international public. We have been serving the private sector in The Holy Empire of The New True Cross for some time now. Due to the current situation in that country our sales have decreased too much for us to continue in business. We are experts in smalls arms manufacturing and have a long history, over 200 years of happy customers to prove it. We are also innovators in our field as we have a state of the art testing and research facility where all potential buyers can come and test out and weapon before purchasing them.

For your pistols the caliber is to small. Sub-machine guns and Machine Pistols are basicly thesame type of weapon, the Machine Pistol designation come from german, which is what they call their sub machine guns. Rifles calibers are way to big. .508 caliber is a bad I dea unless for a sniper rifle or heavy machine gun.

OOC: These guns were actually for a Alt. Hist. movie that I was writing, It fell through so I figured I might as well post them here. The LMW actually stands for Luger Mauser Waffen, and the cross was actually the new version of the Iron Cross I was using. :D Glad you like them.

OOC:
As 1010102 said some of the calibres do a seem a bit off. These weapons could also do with a lot more detail in terms of actual sizes and mechanism used. I would suggest ditching theaccuracy claims, nobody really bothers with that outside of sniper rifles where a MOA rating at 1000m generally does the job.

Personally when i see cusotm ammo I also like to see the ballsitic data for the rounds but that is just me, perhaps at least you give soem sort of idea of the capacity of each round either by using the metric format of bullet calibre x case length in mm ie 9x19mm or the american calibre - propellant capacity format i.e .45- 70 (where the 70 reffers to 70 grains of propellant).

Appart from that nice, job, the art is good although I would simply parrot the concerns of others on lineartinc of it generally looking a bit thin.

I would love to give you guys more specifics, but I have no real ballistics knowledge, so I would just be making it up. Can you offer any guidelines or websites that might help?

OOC: I don't know about ballistics websites, but I do know that it is always a good idea to pass your designs through the NSDraftroom first (check the link in my sig). Also, if you get around to coloring those images and you like to draw, check out Lineart Inc, which is also linked in my sig. A word of warning, however, look at the other designs on the forums before posting your own (preferably look at those of noteworthy designers ex: Doomingsland or the Macabees) as to not upset the crowds as they cn be unforgiving :P

The best place to start is Tony Williams' website: http://www.quarry.nildram.co.uk/

particualrly with his introduction to ballistics: http://www.quarry.nildram.co.uk/ballistics.htm

For details on just about any small arms system under the sun there is Maxim Popenker's website: http://world.guns.ru/main-e.htm

and for general fun and often very educational stuff there is the box of truth: http://www.theboxotruth.com/

To be honest you aheva good start here its just needs to be refined. I would say take it slow and join the draftroom as Kampfers mentioned. The draftroom is a very good palce if you want to ask question and get honest feed back, most of us there are more than happy to chip with worked examples if you want them. Feel free to psot your stuff as is and while some members might not be too polite at times but if you show you are willing to learn and listen you will get a lot of help (god that sounds patronising but i really can't think of a better way of saying it).

I know they all have a little Luger in them, that was the point I was designing them for an Alt. Hist. movie I was writing that fell through, I just wanted to do something with them so I figured I would put them out here. I added some ballistic info. So shop away.

P.S. I am reworking the designs a bit so their will be a new series out in a few months, RL, I have a life here people, please be patient.

All the calibres, apart from the pistols, are waaay to big and mostly too long as well.

Your SMGs are actually assault rifles/assault rifle carbines, your assault rifles are actually battle rifles, and as for the battle rifles...

here's a tip. Run these through the NS Draftroom (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom) first, so people can critique it.
