Thought I;d give it a go and see how many people would be interested before doing the sign up. I have a vauge idea on how it would be, I'll just say that it might take place during doom 2, but instead of the marine being the only protagonist, I'll have various factions trying to survive Hell on earth. Any one interested?

Well, it could be from the point of view of a character watching his nation break apart, like I said, its an experiment to see how many will be interested before I start a sign up thread.

And just as a note, this RP takes place in between doom 1 and 2 (for all you doom fetish people out there) All leading up to the conclusion at the start of doom 2, basically, the remainder of Eraths population being trapped in a massive space port waiting for the Marine to deactivate the forcefield.

I would use a single character, probably a high up government official that is a military retiree.

I have two characters I normally use on this board. One is a highly-cybernated former human (basically, a brain and a few other internal organs in a jar); the other is a demon--a former Diplomat from Hell--who's turned and now walks the earth, even taking up arms against his former comrades sometimes. Needless to say, hell really has it in for him.

Either one would work in this situation, and, if you'll pardon my admitting to the deadly sin of sloth, I don't feel like developing other characters. :) :D :)

Each operates independently of any nation, however.

Would it be permissible to have either one wandering around someone else's terratory?

Hehe... um, I kinda did this earlier about 2 years back, I was pretty bad back then, much better now. Was rather interesting.

It'll only be their 3rd alien invasion and 8th zombie outbrake...

(Usually, at least in the start of a thread (before he has to deal with ubering supermages), his spells fail spectacularly. I hope the running gags where he does an "OH SH--" BOOM! are as much fun to read as they are to write.)
