(Constructive Criticism Only Please)

Part 1: Myakka?

Myakka is one of the many nations of this world and it is inhabited by the Myakkans, a people known for their rich cultural heritage and for their reputation for having very attractive women. Avonlea serves as Myakka’s capital city and is filled with millions of people of all classes such as Members of Parliament and the Royal Family. Queen Alice and Prince Albert live with their two children in the Avonlea Citadel while Prince Alexander, recently returning from an unsuccessful courtship in Ecolle, lives in Centertown, named for being built in the exact center of Myakka. The Parliament of Myakka has developed roughly along the lines of the British Parliament and is known for having several independents as MP’s. The party in power is arguably the National Party, led by Lucretius Sinclair and enjoys significant support. Many Myakkans take pride in their constitutional monarchy but there are those, like communists and anarchists, who believe in the opposite. Communism may never have had power in Myakka, but the influence of Stalinist architecture can be seen in several buildings such as the “Palace of Myakka” (based on the Palace of Soviets) which was built in the 1940’s. Myakkans will take pride in their nation often on holidays such as Myakka Day and will celebrate the Monarchy on “Monarchy Day”, the monarchy in general, with all its dynasties, has endured since before the Medieval Era. All political beliefs are tolerated under the Constitution as are religious beliefs and human rights such as freedom of conscience. The Church of Myakka, comparable to the Church of England is the majority religion with church attendance rates at a medium level (“not too high, not too low”). The Archbishop of Myakka can be found in the city of Shrewsbury, all Archbishops have lived there since the early years of the Church.

Part 2: A Look Inside The Royal Family

Queen Alice and Prince Consort Albert have two children: Prince Leopold and Princess Victoria, who have grown up to be delightful and smart children. While there are rumors spreading that Queen Alice may be pregnant with her third child, there have been no news reports of an official pregnancy. Queen Alice is known for her refined nature and for not being snobbish because she is royalty while Albert is known for being able to communicate with the average citizen of Myakka. Leopold and Victoria excel in their education and are often idolized by schoolchildren born to non-royal parents. Prince Alexander, the only sibling of Queen Alice, is hopeful in his search for a wife and hopes to find one soon. The Royal Family has several palaces but its main residence is the Avonlea Citadel and the Royal Family make appearances during special events. Support for the continuation of the Royal Family’s existence is significantly high and to advocate its abolishment is disliked. Queen Alice is the head of state of the nation of Myakka.

Part 3: The Architecture of a Nation

As with all nations, Myakka has its own distinct architecture but also uses the architectural styles imported from other nations to create an assortment of landmarks and buildings such as Hensley Castle, which is one of the world’s oldest castles to be continuously inhabited (it is the oldest family owned castle with the Hensley family owning it since the 1060’s). All sorts of architectural styles including Stalinist architecture can be found in Myakka’s cities and towns. The largest and most famous landmark of Stalinist architecture is the Palace of Myakka, which serves as a public gathering center. Architecture throughout Myakka varies throughout the many cities and towns but all are built with the same care and precision.
