Today the bodies of the Imperial Parliament of the Grand Imperium of Risban--the Imperial Senate and the General Assembly--passed a joint resolution placing trade sanctions in the form of a full embargo on the Ryou Black Islands, simultaneously condemning the increasingly belligerent nation for its recent actions. The Emperor, at the advise of the Foreign Ministry and Trade Ministry, approved the parliament's request...

Whereas the nation of the Ryou Black Islands has bombed the nation of Krapickstan and proceeded to invade its territorial waters and airspace, and

Whereas the Ryou Black Islands have bullied other nations to the point of launching airstrikes on other nations without provocation, and

Whereas the Ryou Black Islands support a terrorist group called the Dark Moon Army, which in its list of mercenary offerings it includes car bombing, and

Whereas the Ryou Black Islands grow increasingly militant with every step on the international stage, and

Whereas the willingness and eagerness of the Ryou Black Islands to launch military strikes on foreign nations and constantly threaten to assault any nation that disagrees with its views,

Therefore, be it resolved that the Grand Imperium of Risban hereby places a full trade embargo on the Ryou Black Islands, prohibiting any and all type of commercial exchanges between the Grand Imperium and the Ryou Black Islands.

Be it further resolved that the travel between the Ryou Black Islands and the Grand Imperium be prohibited, unless a special diplomatic or humanitarian exchange is permitted by the Emperor.

Be it further resolved that the Imperial Senate, the General Assembly, and the Imperial Palace simultaneously condemn the Ryou Black Islands for their belligerence and demand that they show more prudence and respect on the international stage.

Be it even further resolved that this Parliament grant His Imperial Majesty, Emperor Scorpius, the permission to take further actions if necessary to protect the security interests of the Grand Imperium from any further belligerent actions from the Ryou Black Islands.

The condemnation and embargo was broadcast over the Risban Imperial News Network and the Risban Broadcasting Corporation to the rest of the globe, with the Ministry for Foreign Affairs sending copies of the resolution to interested powers.

The Imperial Navy and Airforce, ever active, turned increasingly prepared as the warning level within the Grand Imperium was advanced two levels, anticipating a possible belligerent action from the Ryou Black Islands, as was often the response of those people. The Foreign Ministry had also already contact the Holy Empire of Stevid, informing them of the Ryou Black Island's immature and dangerous actions, gaining assurance that Stevid would attempt to quiet the Ryou Black Islands.

I have been directed by President Lemke to inform you that we of New Leota have studied this situation, and, based on what we have learned, we support in full the decision you have made. We are presently unable to assist in this action, but it is possible that this will change in future.

Having said that, no doubt that a blokade is an act of war, and I wish to say now that, in the event armed conflict breaks out between yourselves and the Ryou Black Islands, we shall support you as best as we can.

This rating is only given to nations that Alfegos deems to be dangerous, unstable, or a potential for terrorist attacks.
Nationals of this rating are not permitted to stay in Alfegos, and will be forcefully deported if they do not wish to comply within a month of notice.
Any products form nations of this rating will also be removed from sale in all shops, and all cargo from that nation entering the nation held indefinately in a secure compound after thorough searching.

We will not purge your citizens like has been seen in some cases, but will use force to remove them if they do not comply.

Motion 1408.A.07 Passed by joint assembly between Parliament and the High Council.
A total embargo against the Ryou Black Islands from the Pictish Imperium is now in effect, and shall be lifted only under the discretion of the High Council.

Official Diplomatic Communique

A law HS.7480 was passed in the Calizorinstanian Senate last night declaring a total and complete embargo on the nation of Ryou Black Islands, also having the right to detain any Ryou ships in port, and or visiting Ryou military units will be fully put into custody.

We have officially cut off any imports to Ryou and cut off any exports from Ryou. This embargo is in place because we think they are a threat to other nations, which we don't want to fuel them by giving them means to do so.
