San Diego, Calizorinstan:

Outside the San Diego airport, a man, clearly of Sumguaian birth, stood with his luggage awaiting a taxi. He was dressed in clothing that was not out of the ordinary, with the exception of a white collar around his neck. He looked around him, admiring the scenery and the city, it wasn't often that an archbishop was able to travel far from his district. Two men stood behind him, dressed in white uniforms with red crosses emblazoned upon the front and back. George Claxton smiled to himself as he waited, today would perhaps mark the beginning of a great period of growth for the Abrahamic League, it all depended upon John Arnold.

A taxi drove up to Mr.Claxton, and the driver helped Mr.Claxton put his luggage into the taxi and as they got it he said "Where do you want to go sir?"

"Would you be able to take me within a block of the President's office? I am from the Abrhamic League, and i must get an audience with him." The man replied as he got in the car, with his escorts on either side of him.

The taxi driver nodded and he showed no sign of his inward shock at the man's request. They drove off, the taxi driver steering the Dodge Charger taxi eloquently around corners, and finally, they arrived within a block of the President's office and he said "There you go, 5.5 miles, 10 dollars please."

"Just like the finance department," The Archbishop said as he looked in his wallet, "I tell them i need a thousand dollars and they give me ten hundreds." He handed the driver a $100 bill as he got out. "Keep the change. would you mind waiting for a few minutes?"

The taxi driver shook his head and he said "Not at all." Meanwhile, President John Arnold had noticed the visitor from his office, and he stood up and walked outside and he said "Ah, Mr.Claxton, please come inside.." He showed the Archbishop inside the building.

The man smiled brightly as he followed the Polemarch inside. "It is good to see you, Reverend. Lord Sumguy sends his regards."

President Arnold nodded, and he sighed as he looked at the picture of the governor of the Calizstana province out of the corner of his eye and he said "I've been busy lately, managing the Anglican Church here, and the nation in general.."

"A challenging task I am sure, but enough of small talk. I wish to speak to you today to offer you, and any other clergy of your nation that would wish it, membership within the Abrahamic League."

John replied "I will gladly accept, I know of 150 other clergy members that would be interested in membership in the AL."

"Exellent! And would it be acceptable for us to open churches, homeless shelters, hospitals, and recruitment centers in Calizorinstan?" With the President's acceptance, the power of the AL had nearly tripled, and the Archbishop's expression reflected this.

John smiled and said "Sure you can, I think it'll reflect well to have the Polemarch's country be a powerhouse for the Abrahamic League." John shook the Archbishop's hand.

"Ah but you must remember, we have no official ties to the Hegemony or Lord Sumguy. We wouldn't want anyone attacking either because of our actions or a hatred of us. By the way, I would also like to congratulate you on your appointment to the high council of the Abrahamic League." The Archbishop smiled as one of his guards brought in two suitcases. "In one of these cases is all of the equipment that we give AL members, and a feild guide written by Lord Sumguy himself. The other contains the armor of an AL council member*, should you ever have need of it. And now i shall take my leave, as we have many more people to recruit."



*OOC: plate armor made up of many layers of kevlar, silk, and steel, half an inch thick and able to deflect most small arms fire. It weighs 113 pounds and covers the entire body. The surface is a thin layer of white gold, with elaborate patterns of yellow gold decorating it. A helmet is included, similar in style to the ones worn by crusader knights and made of the same materials. The suit is valued at $2.3 million Sumguaian (4.6 USD). It is used mostly for inspirational purposes.

President Arnold nodded and shook the Archbishop's hand and said "I hope you have a safe journey back, I shall treasure the armor. What is the standard equipment you give AL members by the way?"

"The holy books of Islam, Christianity, and Judaeism, John Locke's Two teeatises on Government, an ID certifying the holder as a member of the AL, A list of codes and radio channels that we use, a feild giude written by the Hegemon, three cell phones that are registered in our database that are modified only to accept signals from cell phoones owned by other AL members, and for you a laptop containing all of the documents, information, and programs needed to effectively carry out your duties as a council member. Needless to say, none of this should ever fall into the hands of any who feel....less than friendly towards us, so there is a keypad on the top that will trigger a small incendiary device within the case if the right combination is entered. A paper with the keycode on it is in the case as well."
The Archbishop smiled, and walked out of the building. He took the taxi back to the airport, and boarded a plane to the Holy Empire.
