ADEN: Where choosing between quality and quantity is a thing of the past.

The Aerospace Developer's Export Network is the Conglomerate of Aerospace Exporters that export Aerospace Equipment and Technology to foreign nations and to the Questarian and Willinkian military. We consist of the following Questarian and Willinkian Aerospace Companies; Blackburn Aircraft Limited, Handley Page Aerospace Corporation, Hawker Aircraft Limited, Imperial Avionics, Supermarine Aviation Works, Westland Aircraft Limited, Foster Wickner, Fairey, Gloster Aircraft Company, and Southern Aircraft Company Limited, all of whom produce military aerospace technology such as aircraft, missiles, computers and electronics, and engines. Our job is to export to you high quality equipment at low prices. Products such as the Supermarine Storke have already been recognized for their low cost but remarkable performance, and have been exported in their tens of thousands overseas. ADEN offers the young nations who are looking for a capable air service the chance to compete overseas with the ruling air powers.

As of this moment, the Federative Imperium of Questers is under severe threat from Communist insurgents. As the ADEN Manufacturers all possess private armies and the Royal Charter allows Government defence forces to aid ADEN private armies, there is no need to worry about having production lines damaged. However, ADEN is interested in seeing a future Questers without Communism, and as such we will refuse to sell to nations that SIS has blacklisted. This does not mean that if you were blacklisted by IMJEC (which is now defunct), that you will be blacklisted here. SIS is reconsidering its blacklists, so you will be informed if you are on the blacklist. Note if you are a Communist nation then it is highly likely you will be on the blacklist.

Blacklist:

Eurasian Socialist Rep.
Murra

Furthermore, ADEN offers a purchase discount system. Nations on the discount list have 1.5% shaved off the total export cost of what they choose to order.

Favoured Nations:

Questarian Commonwealth States
Royal Georgian League States
A.C.I.D States
Willink
Kampfers
Franberry
No Endorse
Vetaka

Furthermore, for each of our products we offer domestic production licenses (DOPLI’s). If you wish to produce something domestically you will have to obtain an ADEN DOPLI- these cost 5% more for each order. For example, if you want to domestically produce 10 Supermarine Storks, the cost is 400 million USD for the aircraft and 20 million USD (5%) for the production rights, for a total cost of 420mn USD.

If you know what you are looking for but don't want to scroll through all the designs, just post what you're looking for and I'll recommend the right aircraft for you.

Here is the catalogue of aircraft and their types:

Questarian Naming Scheme (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_military_aircraft_designation_systems#Mark_numbers)
(remember the Questarian scheme is different to the Willinkian one.)

A # before the name means the aircraft is carrier capable.

[07:31] <Blub[The Blub Colony]> An excellent mix of munitions and aircraft which provides NS with a reliable source of airborne technology.

Let me thank you for offering such a collective gathering of quality yet inexpensive aircraft. This is by far the most complete aerospace catalog in the world at this time, and the quality of its products is on the same level of the Imperial Aerospace Corporation. We hope that as new products are added, they will continue to uphold your high standard of excellence.

[16:56] <Akimonad> One of the most helpful and detailed storefronts I've seen.

Hawker Cossack S.2 Mk 2
Images drawn by Questers and coloured by Willink
Producer: Hawker
Role: Naval Strike
Notes: The Hawker Cossack is the RN FAA's premier carrier strike aircraft. Can fit large radars for maritime awacs work, or internal fuel for refueling. The Mark 2 comes with the HAWKEN-060E turbofan providing 5kN extra thrust and 150km longer strike range. The Cossack does not come with a radar because it does not need one; her AS-58 missiles are GPS/INS guided with their own sea mapping millimetric and active radars, and the only electronics that come with her are the targeting systems for LGBs and ECM.

Interestingly the Cossack does not need advanced radar systems. She has the very basics; detection and landing for carriers, and a primitive wave mapping, but nothing else. The Cossack can be guided to its target by all forms of other reconaissance aircraft or indeed reconaissance variants, and it can attack targets with bombs via its laser targeting system. If using missiles, it is not advantaegous or even a good idea for an aircraft to advance within 100, let alone 300 kilometres of a carrier battle group. Instead the Hornet can launch its heavy, long range missiles much further out and leave them to be guided to the target via INS-GPS and the active radar on the missile itself.

There is a ground attack variant, the Hawker Calcutta GR.3 (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13185587&postcount=56).

Blackburn Butcher GR.1

Overview: The Butcher is the RAF’s primary air support aircraft. It was developed and heralded as a great success for Blackburn, its main assets being the sturdy airframe, the capable avionics and weaponry and, the engine, which Blackburn worked with Supermarine on. The turbojet produced gave strong speed, range, and climb - all the RAF’s factors, but while being efficient at its task hogged tremendous amounts of fuel. The engines were easy to mantain, were cheap and easy to produce and lived through the harshest winters, but were always hated hot climates. When tested in Azaha in the desert the technicians reported that the engines disagreed with the heat and the cooling system, already ineffective, found itself to be overwhelmed in the blistering desert heat.

The Butcher can use a variety of weapons; the most common in Questarian use are AIC-50 CSOW (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13163766&postcount=10), ATC-50 CSOW (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13163989&postcount=14), various GDAM sizes (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13163944&postcount=12), ATCM (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13163979&postcount=13), APEW (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13164002&postcount=15), the ARMED (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13164016&postcount=16), and the VG-40 Gunpod.

Large ECM batteries and thick armour mixed with a sturdy airframe increase survivability. The pilot is seated in a titanium bathtub with a super-quick response ejector seat. The BASC-56AE ECM pod is a highly capable electronic countermeasure device. Receiver equipment and antennas are mounted in a fin-tip pod while jamming transmitters and exciter equipment a located in under-wing pods.

Supermarine Storke FGR.1
Images drawn by Questers and coloured by Willink

Overview:
The Storke FGR.1 was designed not only as an export fighter-bomber, but as a cheap, mass producable, fighter bomber that can really cover all roles. The Storke excels in air support; laying down fire and supressing or eradicating large enemy formations of infantry or armour with its CSOW's and ATCMs. Alternatively it can do tactical strikes on targets like communications and logistics hubs, or movement hubs like train stations and bridges by loading out on all forms of bombs, LGBs, GDAMs, and bunker busters. Not only does it shine in these roles, but the Stork can also do fighter strike sweeps; covering an enemy airfield while bombing it. Its advanced ECM and maneouvrability from its thrust vector engines and aluminium airframe allow it to survive surface to air defences, while the Storke is capable of holding its own from enemy fighters. While sweeping airbases, the Storke begins to use its advanced communication and recon systems to deliver and receive information from Headquarters and it will proceed to attack with a high level of precision, devastating the airfield it has covered with special cratering munitions.

Firstly, the Storke has four recessed fuselage points that can carry munitions up to 500kg. These can either be missiles or bombs. On the wings there are two hardpoints; a 1000kg and a 1500kg (per wing.) These hardpoints can be modded via pylon switchouts; for example, the 1000kg hardpoint can fit either one 1000kg pylon, or two 500kg pylons. The 1500kg hardpoint can fit two 750kg pylons, three 500kg, etc etc. This means the Storke can fit a variety of weapons in a variety of numbers, offering full versatility for any job needed. It does not take much work to swap the Stork over from a fighter mod to a CAS or Strike mod.

The Storke can use a variety of weapons; the most common in Questarian use are AIC-50 CSOW (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13163766&postcount=10), ATC-50 CSOW (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13163989&postcount=14), various GDAM sizes (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13163944&postcount=12), ATCM (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13163979&postcount=13), APEW (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13164002&postcount=15), the ARMED (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13164016&postcount=16), and the

The Storke is fully carrier capable.

The Storke is the national animal of #draftroom.

Many pilots nickname it the Shuka for its more likeable design name.

Guided Direct Attack Munition

The GDAM is the name for the guidance package used by Questarian bombs. It works much the same way as in the U.S JDAM; using an INS/GPS system it allows bombs to be launched from some 40km or closer with excellent accuracy. Currently, the GDAM is used on the Mk 45 100kg gravity bomb, Mk 52 250kg gravity bomb, Mk 98 500kg gravity bomb, and Mk 99 1000kg gravity bomb. The GDAM is a bolt on guidance package and as such can only be put on gravity bombs. The GDAM system is sold for 250 million USD.

Anti Tank Cluster Munition Series

The ATCM series comes in three variants; ATCM-20, ATCM-50, and ATCM-10, all varying in sizes. The -20 is a 200kg munition, the -50 a 500kg, and, quite deceptively, the -10 is a 1000kg weapon. There are two types of ATCM; an E, or a S (eg ATCM-20S). The E released Explosively Formed Projectiles (EFP), and the S released Shaped Charge Bomblets (SCB). Each works in the same way and the only difference between them is size. When the weapon is released from the aircraft and the fuse is released, a varying number of anti tank submunitions are released and sprayed over the area they're targeting. One bomblet or EFP can penetrate approximately 190cm of armour, meaning multiple hits can either knock out or heavily damage a tank from the top.

The weapon has a short range and is dropped directly over armoured formations and is best used from low altitude to give tactical level point defence very little time to respond. Used correctly, ATCMs can absolutely devastate armoured formations.

Variants:
ATCM-20: 220 bomblets/EFPs
ATCM-50: 480 bomblets/EFPs
ATCM-10: 900 bomblets/EFPs

As it is launched a pair of small foldout wings are deployed to guide the AIC-50 to its target, assisted by GPS and INS. On nearing the target, the ATC-50 opens up and drops eight CMC Cluster Munition Containers, which when getting even clearer, relaese their submunitions over the target. Each CMC contains six AG/CM-90s, an EFP capable of knocking out a tank in as few as three hits. Each ATC-50 in total has 48 AG/CM-90s, and is best used to strike large armoured formations from a distance, before the aircraft can get in range of the organic air defence elements.

Subject: Procurement of Aircraft

Dear Sir/Ma'am,

After a careful comparison between our current fleet of aircraft and the ones offered by ADEN, we believe that it is in our best interests to procure several aircraft. We have taken the liberty of making a small list of which needs to go where: this will serve as our order form.

Marine Loft Divisioun (MLD), Naval Air Arm

Hawker Hornet NBR.1

We would like to procure 1,560 units of this aircraft, of which 60 will have to be reconfigured for an air-to-air refueling role, aswell as 1000 for an AWACS role. The subtotal of these aircraft will come to 65.52 billion USD

Arméi Loft Divisioun (ALD), Army Air Arm

Supermarine Stork FBR.1

This aircraft will be mostly used as a backup solution for other aircraft, but nevertheless, we will be procuring 5,075 of them, of which 70 should be fully carrier capable for service with the MLD (testing). Another 5 will be used for different testing purposes, while the remaining 5,000 will be integrated into the ALD. The price of this should come to 159.8625 billion USD

Blackburn Butcher SUP.1

We will be evaluating this aircraft as a possible complement to our existing fleet, aswell as the Storks we have ordered (see above). 50 aircraft, for a price of 1.750 billion USD.

Supermarine Scimitar INT.1

This aircraft will also be used for evaluation purposes. This means that we will also need 50 units of the Scimitar, which would cost us 3 billion USD

Next to all these aircraft, we would like to procure the Domestic Production License (DOPLI) for the Stork and Hornet. The price addition has already been calculated into the price given above. Next to this, we would also like to procure the DOPLI's of:

The AS-58 and AS-62 missiles, at a total of 1.5 billion USD

The ATCM and ARMED cluster munitions, at a total of 1 billion USD

and finally, the AIC-50 and ATC-50 Cluster Munitions, at a total of 1 billion USD.

All domestically produced equipment and aircraft will be assembled at the Schmolz+Bickenbach Werke in Enzersdorf, part of VLT Aerospace.

The Grand Total will come to 233.6325 billion USD

AG-R-30K WALLET

The AG-R-30K is the primary heavy air to ground missile used by Questarian Forces. Blackburn Beaufort FGR.2
Role: Light Fighter/Ground Attack/Recon
Producer: Blackburn Aircraft Limited
Overview: In the RAF, two types of aircraft fill up the frontline fighter squadrons; the Supermarine Stalwart and the Blackburn Beaufort. The Stalwartis the big, heavy fighter, and the Beaufort the smaller Light Fighter. However, the Beaufort has in recent years been adopted interestingly by the Fleet Air Arm for its remarkable size in comparison to Blackburn's own Battle FA.1 design. Current FAA doctrine calls for a mix of fighters between the Battle and the Beaufort, to mantain parity of size and number, as many more Beauforts can be stored on a carrier, but the combat capabilities of large aircraft are ever neccessary in the naval aircraft world, especially in range and payload.

When designing the Beaufort, effort was put in to maximise quality but keep price down. As such, a pulse doppler radar was used over an AESA radar. Mounted in the nose the BASC-PDPR60 has a scanning and targeting range of 40 kilometres. To maximise the use of this RADAR, not only can the Beaufort work in conjunction with AWACs support to extend her sightline, she is built with stealth materials and shaped in a stealthy fashion with a pair of internal bays either side of the engines. This enables the Beaufort to get closer to its target to better use its radar. However, if you so wish, you may swap out the PDPR60 for your own AESA or better aerial radar; it is not a hard task.

However, one critical piece of electronics that absolutely had to be fitted was the BASC-BRD Targeting Unit. This LIDAR, INS, and GPS targeting unit allows the Beaufort to use all forms of guided munitions, such as laser guided munitions or weapons similar to the US JDAM/LITENING. While the Beaufort lacks many forms of electronics that may be thought of neccessary in frontline fighters, this is reflected by its price. All forms of electronisc can be fitted onto the Beaufort, even though many have been left off. The Beaufort does not carry a rudimentary ECM suite, but it can easily be bolted on, for example.

In the air to ground role the Beaufort can carry a variety of bombs, cluster munitions, and air to ground missiles. In the air to air role it can carry four air-to-air missiles, beyond visual range, medium, short, anything. In the air-to-ship role it can carry bombs and small short ranged missiles, but the Beaufort is mainly for air-to-air, but it can also commit to the air-to-ground role. She is a light fighter in the true sense of the word; her highly powerful Blackburn Sidney BSD.FGR-65T engine has a massive 1.12 thrust to weight ratio, propelling her at high speeds with immense performance.

She can use a full variety of ATG weapons, such as AIC-50 CSOW (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13163766&postcount=10), CSOW-50 (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13163989&postcount=14), various GDAM sizes (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13163944&postcount=12), ASR.12/AST.12 (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13188220&postcount=65), ATCM (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13163979&postcount=13), APEW (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13164002&postcount=15), the ARMED (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13164016&postcount=16), and the VG-40 Gunpod.

Blackburn Battleaxe MRA.2
Role: Maritime Recon and Attack
Producer: Blackburn Aircraft Limited

Overview: The Battleaxe MRA.2 is the RN’s heavy maritime patrol aircraft. With a maximum combat radius of 12,000km, and with easy built in provisions for in-air refueling. The Battleaxe MRA.2’s role is to patrol the seas around its target base and engage any enemy shipping it comes across. It can also be deployed in the direct attack role, meaning the MRA.2 is equipped to actively seek out and engage enemy shipping with her powerful AS-79/S missiles. Furthemore it can be refitted into an AWACs variant with larger and more powerful RADARs or it can be refitted into a tanker variant to lengthen the range of patrols.

In her massive bomb bay, the MRA.2 has a rotary launching device which can carry and launch sequentially six 5000kg AS-79 (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13166557&postcount=31) missiles. Alternatively the MRA.2’s rotary bay can launch weapons such as Kh-55s, AGM-86, etc etc. Each wing has a pylon that can carry another 2500kg weapon, or it can fit an ECM pod or a second/third radar. The main radar used in the MRA.2 is the BASC-400-ASSRAD (Anti Ship Surveillance RADar). It has in the search mode a range of up to 450 kilometres. Furthermore, the MRA.2 can be used to communicate with submarines and feed them information. It has the correct equipment to “fire and forget” as it where its AS-79s, as the MRA.2 is fully integrated with satellite systems for INS/GPS/Active RADAR “fire and forget” which many Questarian air to surface missiles use.

The MRA.2 is powered by four Blackburn 'Betty' 4XK-SCG four blade contra rotating turboprops.

Supermarine Sea Fury S.1 Mk.3
Drawn by Questers, coloured by Willink
Producer: Supermarine
Role: Naval Strike
Notes: The two engined Sea Fury Mk.3 (Other Marks not exported) is the latest in the line of th Sea Fury aircraft, which the Fleet Air Arm uses in conjunction with the much larger Hornet. FAA doctrine which dictates there must be a "light/heavy fighter mix" goes the same with bombers, at least inventory wise if not all carrier air group use them. The Sea Fury is smaller than the Hornet, but this comes with its own benefits. It is less likely to be shot down, more likely to reach the target, this particular aircraft is more maneouvrable, and can be carried in larger numbers. It is also cheaper. The primary electronic suite in the nose contains the air to ship radar BASC-DS.1 with a range of 80 kilometres, plus the ECM suite.

The Sea Fury is available in an electronic warfare variant here. (x)

The aircraft is fully carrier capable.

Blackburn Brigand S.3
Producer: Blackburn Aircraft Limited
Overview: The Blackburn Brigand S.3 was developed by Blackburn to fulfill the interdictor / strike role. Carrying an impressive 20,000kg of ordnance it can strike a variety of targets at long ranges

Construction
The Brigand is a variable geometry swing wing aircraft. When swept back, its wings are at a 74 degree angle, and when fully spread they are at 17 degrees. Its advanced ECM and chaff/flares plus maneouvring makes it a highly survivable aircraft.

The cockpit is an independent pressurised module that also acts as an ejector. It was originally going to be built around a titanium bathtub but this was cancelled because of costs. Then a steel bathtub was considered but was cancelled because of weight. The original design suggested that the aircraft should be built out of steel and should in some areas be armoured, but this was cancelled. Firstly the steel was not available; all aircraft steel was going into the construction of frontline aircraft and in any case Woodburn Light Metal Industries was offering large amounts of aluminium to the military. This offer was seized upon and the design was transferred to aluminium and the role somewhat changed; the aircraft would have to be faster to zoom over enemy territory, drop its payload, and head back. Given that Blackburn Butchers and Supermarine Storkes has already been procured in large numbers, armoured and stealth CAS aircraft were in no short supply, so a light and fast interdiction bomber was considered to be role-suitable anyway.

However, it was decided that there were parts of the aircraft that did, after all, need to be better protected; namely the wings, the, and the fuel tanks. Woodburn also won the contract; some say out of ease rather than superior quality; for the steel for the aircraft and began to produce the whole airframes as one, rather than ship pieces back and forth. Most of the plane was still made from aluminium, but the fuel tanks and wings are constructed from steel.

Engines and Performance:
The Brigand utilises a pair of Blackburn Matrix F/25tt turbofan engines. The engines are capable of 3D thrust vector and providing 29,500 dry thrust each with 35,000lbf thrust on afterburners. At normal cruise speed the Brigand is capable of 800km/h; its maximum speed is 2500km/h, or approximately Mach 2.1. Two large internal fuel tanks holding 17,500kg of aviation fuel each power the aircraft’s engines and allow a range of 5000 kilometres. With extra 500kg fuel tanks a further 600km can be added to the range.

The two /25tt turbofans are notably prone to breaking down. It is Imperial Questarian Army doctrine to test aircraft in four different climates; temperate, icy, tropical, and desert, all which are easily and readily available for the Army. In temperature weather, the /25tt performed admirably, coming out better than expected. In freezing weather (between -9 and 3 degrees centigrade) the /25tt started having real problems. Firstly, many of the wet hardpoints fuel lines connecting the external tanks to the main fuel tanks froze up when the engines were not turned on. Crews would leave their aircraft in the hangars overnight and wake up to find their extra fuel tanks useless because the lines were clogged with ice. Even worse, the thrust vectoring nozzles themselves were often found frozen in place and unable to maneuver, making take off more risky.

Because the engines were very powerful, they has to be safely turned off after landing for several minutes before the crew could leave the aircraft, or ground crew could fit more munitions, greatly extending the turn around time. Ground crew have been sucked into the giant engines before during cooldown so it is important this safety measure be observed. While this is a rare occurrence, ground crews would agree that better safe than sorry is a good motto when dealing with the somewhat unpredictable Brigand.

Armament:
The Brigand has 10 hardpoints. Two of these were internally mounted, two were externally mounted underneath the fuselage, and there were three external hardpoints per wing. The first two internal hardpoints were bomb bays capable of carrying 2000kg of munitions each; or eight 250kg bombs in rolling racks, allowing for eight 250kg bombs, or four 500kg, or two 1000kg, or one 2000kg per internal bomb bay. The two external fuselage hardpoints were capable of carrying 2000kg of munitions each per hardpoint, with pylons for one, two, or four pieces of ordnance (at 2,000, 1000, and 500kg respectively) Each wing has three hardpoints that carried a maximum of 2000kg each.

There was also a Type 88 30mm cannon with 900 rounds fitted on the fuselage pointed straight ahead which was capable of 100rpm fire.

Supermarine Stalwart F.2
Producer: Supermarine
Role: Fighter
Overview: The Stalwart F.2 is the Army's frontline heavy fighter, tasked with taking control of enemy airspace and holding it to allow other aircraft to operate CAS, interdiction, and strike missions. The Stalwart, unlike other aircraft exported by ADEN, is expensive. This is because the Government, when setting the competition, decided there was no putting a price on air superiority. Thus, the Stalwart F.2 comes with everything a modern fighter should do.

The F.2 makes use of a pair of BASC-AESA-G AESA radars, one rear mounted and one nose mounted (the nose mounted is stronger). Not only can the AESA-G scan and track targets from both ends of the aircraft, it can attack other aircraft's radars and changes frequencies thousands of times to defend against electronic attack. The radar uses the latest Questarian technology and no expense has been spared. Other electronics include built in ECM pods coupled with automatically launching flares and chaff.

Not only are the engines capable of 3D thrust, the canards and construction of the aircraft allow it a high degree of agility. Coupled with the advanced ECM and RADAR warning this makes the Stalwart F.2 a highly survivable plane. carrying a variety of short, medium, and beyond visual range missiles the Stalwart can win its battles at any range it chooses to fight at.

Will Aequatio need assistance from ADEN Engineers in carrying out this work?

Furthermore ADEN requires to know how many aircraft of each type you will be producing domestically, since standard production rights are not available.

We have noticed your extensive catalog, and are pleased at your selection and affordable prices. Due to the extensive nature of this catalog, we would like your professional suggestions on aircraft to fill the following roles:

A mid to long-range land based antishipping aircraft.

A carrier-based fighter capable of limited ground attack.

A dedicated ground-attack carrier-based fighter.

A land-based fighter.

A land-based ground attack aircraft.

Our Air Force is in the midst of a total overhaul as older aircraft are being retired, and with the majority of our budget going towards our Navy, Candrian aircraft are simply too expensive.

A mid to long-range land based antishipping aircraft. Blackburn Battleaxe MRA.2 (Maritime Recon / Bomber) - $150,000,000 (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13166541&postcount=30)

A carrier-based fighter capable of limited ground attack. # Blackburn Beaufort FGR.2 (Light Fighter/Ground Attack/Reconaissance) - $30,000,000 (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13165937&postcount=28)

A dedicated ground-attack carrier-based fighter. This query doesn't make much sense. A 'dedicated ground attack' aircraft wouldn't be a fighter. Nevertheless we can suggest: # Hawker Calcutta GR.3 (Ground Attack) - $60,000,000 (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13185587&postcount=56)

A land-based fighter. Supermarine Stalwart F.2 (Tactical Fighter) - $75,000,000 (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13171385&postcount=42)

Blackburn Boxer GR.2 Mk 2
Role: Ground Attack/Recon
Producer: Blackburn Aircraft Limited
Overview: The Blackburn Boxer GR.2 Mk2 is a swing-wing, air to ground aircraft designed for the RAF. It is the primary air to ground platform, as half the Butcher GR.1 fleet is being phased out and or given to the Army. The Boxer can carry a large variety of heavy weaponry for a multitude of purposes. It is equipped with all the latest systems for low level flying and reportedly handles extremely well in the role and can take off from an airfield as short as 325m. It makes use of the advanced BASC-RD-44/5, which gives the aircraft full FLIR, laser-guider, boresight correlator, and other targeting assistance. The RAF will employ the Boxer in these main roles:

1. Close Air Support
In the CAS Role, the Boxer will be equipped with GDAM and ATCM/AIC weapons, and sometimes rocket pods and bunker busters. Furthermore it can provide accurate reconaissance to troops on the ground using its recon systems, such as the built in BASC-ASCA Air Scanning RADAR which maps out enemy formations on the ground and provides an accurate picture of the size of enemy armoured formations up to to 50km away, using an advanced recognition system to detect the difference between general types of vehicles.

Typical Air Support Payload:
-10 x Mk.52 250kg GDAM (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13163944&postcount=12)
-2 x Electronic / Photographic Reconaissance Device
-12 x ATCM-50 (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13163979&postcount=13)
-4 x AIC-50 (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13163766&postcount=10)

[B]2. Strike/Recon
Though the Blackburn Brigand (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13169876&postcount=39) is a more capable strike aircraft, the Boxer is still will still fill this important role. In the Strike Role, the Boxer will be equipped with GDAM, APEW, and ARMED weaponry. With APEW it can strike armoured targets such as bunkers, heavy ships, and even tanks. The GDAM bomb, guided by INS/GPS, or the LOW-38/-32 series of laser guided bombs can be used to strike all sorts of targets. The ARMED anti-runway system can be used to attack airfields and the aircraft can even carry nuclear weapons or mines. Because it can hug the ground at extremely high speed, the Boxer is a highly capable aircraft for the strike role.

Typical Strike Payload:
-12 x Mk.52 250kg GDAM (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13163944&postcount=12)
-2 x ARMED (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13164016&postcount=16)
-2 x Mk.63 1500kg APEW (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13164002&postcount=15)

2. Supression of Enemy Air Defence
As Strike is the Brigand's primary role, SEAD is the Boxer's. Because it can fly low and extremely fast, the Boxer can sneak under radar to attack at the last minute with a variety of missiles and bombs. Tactically, usually pairs of Boxers will work in a wild-weasel style operation, with one higher flying plane forcing a radar operator to turn off his radar while the lower flying plane attacks with direct weaponry. It can carry a large payload of ARM missiles as well as GDAMs.

Typical SEAD Payload:
-6 x Mk.52 250kg GDAM (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13188220&postcount=65)
-4 x Electronic Counter/Counter Measure Pods
-4 x Electronic / Photographic Reconaissance Device [BASC EPRD]
-12 x ASR/T.12
(http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13188220&postcount=65)
It can use a variety of weapons, including AIC-50 CSOW (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13163766&postcount=10), ATC-50 CSOW (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13163989&postcount=14), various GDAM sizes (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13163944&postcount=12), ATCM (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13163979&postcount=13), APEW (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13164002&postcount=15), the ARMED (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13164016&postcount=16), and the

Kampfers
05-11-2007, 05:25
[TO] The esteemed Aerospace Developers Export Network
[FROM] Department of War, Purchasing Subdivision, Kampfers

It is not often that one finds so many quality products exported under one roof. Kreigzimmer, the Havenic Trading Company, and ADEN: the list is short, even if expanding. Let me assure you that the Kampferian Luftwaffe and Kampferian Flottenluftdeinst will become one of your most frequent customers, and will be represented by this office. Let me also express that Fuhrer Richtoff passes on his thanks for Kampfers' recognition as a "Favoured Nation", and this will no doubt influence our decision to shop here more and more.

That being said, I believe it is time for me to begin placing orders. First and foremost, our military requires the Blackburn Battleaxe MRA.2. Given Kampfers location in Haven and the extremely large connection to the sea that exists, it is vital that we are able to defend our waters from foreign threats. The Blackburn Battleaxe MRA.2 will phase out the G4M6 Peregrine Falcon, also of Questarian design, which served well for many years in the Kampferian service. In total, I believe that 1,000 airframes will be satisfactory at this time. In an effort to increase Kampferian productivity in the Aerospace Industry and to encourage native designs, we wish to produce these domestically. This will give our workers valuable experience later on, and will hopefully encourage domestic companies to begin work in military aviation. The price for the Blackburn Battleaxe MRA.2 order alone is 150 billion dollars, when the domestic production costs are figured in, the sum comes to 157.5 billion dollars for this part of the order. We would appreciate it if ADEN would send overseers to make sure the production went as planned.

On top of that, we wish to purchase a large number of Supermarine Storke FGR.1’s. While these will not be in service as our top flight fighters, their all-around skills are quite impressive and will make a great compliment to our F/A-15 Cardinals and F-16 Priests, which we do not currently have the funds to make standard. We would also like to domestically produce these planes, and will pay the proper domestic production costs. However, we would like to make a slight change to the avionics and control systems within this unit, as to make them more suitable for service in Kampfers. We will be purchasing 5,000 of these, and would also appreciate ADEN oversight in their production. The cost of this will be 157.5 billion dollars as well, not including the slight cost upgrades to use Kampferian designed equipment.

Following that, we wish to purchase 1,500 Hawker Cossack S.2 Mk 2. These too we will produce domestically, and for these too we request ADEN oversight. This will cost $70.875 billion USD.

Finally, we wish to make the Westland Wellington HAS.2 our featured anti-submarine helicopter, a tremendous upgrade over our current out-dated material. This role is often overlooked in not only military design, but in helicopter design as a whole, and it is good to see a corporation recognize this need and fill it. These we will not produce domestically, however, and would prefer to take shipments at Kampfers Stadt Joint Military Base. Currently, we will require 1,000 of these, although our needs will increase with time. This comes out to 375 billion dollars.

In total, this order comes out to $760.875 billion dollars, well within the limits of our budget. We are willing to pay extra if necessary to account for the ADEN engineers that will be helping oversee production in Kampfers if you so require it. With the Kampferian discount taken into account, the final cost will be $749,461.875 million dollars. The sum is already being wired to the proper accounts, with room for more to be added if necessary for the ADEN oversight.

It is with great pleasure we can say that ADEN Engineers from Hawker, Westland, Supermarine, and Blackburn will be en-route to Kampfers shortly, paid for in full by H.M Government. Hopefully this will be the very beginnings of fruitful growth of the Kampferian Aerospace Industry and with it, competition partners.

We would like to ask the ADEN for their advice regarding naval and ground-based missile systems as we are interested in purchasing a series of upgrades for the systems currently in use by the naval and ground forces of the Vetalian military.

Our military needs a system that is both capable of evading missile defenses with the best possible success rate as well as one that is capable of safely and securely delivering chemical and biological agents to their intended targets with minimal risk and maximal payload preservation. We are willing to compromise on the success rate of said missiles, as the kind of agents these systems will be tasked with delivering are likely to be at least marginally effective even if intercepted.

However, they must be safe. Although our personnel are protected against these agents, we cannot risk accidentally exposing friendly or neutral non-combatants due to a misfire or similar accident.

A ground-based antishipping fighter: This doesn't make much sense. Do you require a fighter capable of anti-shipping, or an anti-shipping plane capable of fighting? Please specify further. Nevertheless, from what we've gauged, we have come up with these two desgns:
# Supermarine Storke FGR.1 (Fighter/Ground Attack/Reconaissance) - $30,000,000 (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13163722&postcount=6)

# Blackburn Brigand S.3 (Strike) - $100,000,000 (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13169876&postcount=39)
A carrier-based attack plane:
In the cheap department: # Supermarine Sea Fury S.1 (Mk 3) (Naval Strike) - $10-25,000,000 (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13168231&postcount=36)

The Tolvanic Navy requires a light to medium strike fighter to supplement our existing F-28 Black Eagle (air dominance/strike fighter) and A-14 Invader (bomb truck a la A-6) forces and replace the F-35C in our carrier air wings. The aircraft will primarily be used in an anti-shipping role and as a ground attack aircraft. The aircraft should:

be affordable (less than $65 million a copy)
have a combat radius > 400 nm
be able to carry at least 2 long range AshMs

The estimated production run will be around 1,000 airframes.

Also, we require a new anti-ship missile to replace out woefully inadequate Harpoons and our existing SS-15 Reaper heavy AShMs are too large to be carried by tactical aircraft.

What do you recommend?

We suggest, for this role:
# Hawker Cossack S.2 (Mk 1/2) (Naval Strike) - $40-45,000,000 (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13163642&postcount=2)

Furthermore, three types of missiles are available:
AS-77 Missile - $35,000,000 Infinite DOPLI (hhttp://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13274376&postcount=39)
AS-58 Missile - $500,000,000 Infinite DOPLI (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13163739&postcount=7)
AS-62 Missile - $1,000,000,000 Infinite DOPLI (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13163753&postcount=8)

Mk.3 Variations on the Cossack allow it to carry five, four, and three, of these respective missiles.

Given your suggestions we believe the Cossack fits almost exactly into the roles suggested.

Foster Aviation Limited

To the management team of ADEN,

Dear Sirs,

It delights me to be able to represent Foster Aviation Limited and present unto your good selves a most excellent opportunity for further expansion of both our enterprises.

As the second largest aviation company in the Commonwealth, we have a range of fixed and rotorwinged aircraft product lines which we believe could enhance the sales of both ADEN and allow us to compete more effectively with the dominant FDI Aerospace of our domestic market.

This is a preliminary proposal and 'water tester', so to speak, and we wonder if you would be interested in such a deal?

Yours sincerely,

The Management Team at Foster Aviation.

To Foster Aviation Executive Team

Dear Sirs,

It honours us that another fine aviation company is contacting us to join the ADEN Family.

As one of the leading groups in the country pressuring for economic liberalisation, we believe that promoting economic competitivity is a noble goal. Furthermore, assisting businesses in doing this as by selling their products in our Network is one of our prime goals.

ADEN would gladly accept Foster Aviation's offer. Further discussion on profit sales (given ADEN is only a front for sales, we take little; 95/5 is the usual deal) and other financial issues can take place at a date of your choice.

Yours sincerely,

ADEN Executive Team

Dear Sirs,

The Naval Air Arm of the Naval Armada of Franberry has found itself with a largely obsolescent stock of aircraft. While the small numbers of A-4FRs and Super Etendards still display a good deal of quality and still have some life in their airframes, their small numbers, and their age, shows greatly. Therefore, we have been allowed to procure rights of production from ADE, and would like to place the following order to obtain the rights to some of your outstanding equipment, so our fleets may sail under friendly skies.

Clipping from the Marograd Sentinel:

GORBACHOVA CALLED OUT!
Says Comments "Misinterpreted"

Earlier today Premier Aleksandra Gorbachova met with representatives from ADEN to request an explanation for the Federation's entry onto the corporation's blacklist. After several rounds of questioning, it was explained that ADEN refused to do business with any faction promoting the enlightened theories of communal economic theory. The ADEN has revealed itself to be nothing more than a cowardly association of Questarian and Willinkian puppets, perpetuated by industrialists in both of those nations.

She has, however, requested a listing of aircraft produced by ADEN, and is said to be pursuing comparable aircraft for the People's Air Force through other means. This is apparently due to the quality of the aircraft in question, though I question the quality of the work of such Capitalist stooges. When asked to comment on the blacklist and the nation's inability to procure ADEN equipment, she stated that "It makes me wish I wasn't communist," shocking those within earshot. This statement prompted various military leaders to vow to never use Questarian related equipment.

Later, Comrade Gorbachova expressed regret at the reaction to her outrageous comment, stating that it was "a joke" and not intended to be taken seriously. When asked to comment further, she declined. Leading political figures across the nation are calling, as always, for Comrade Gorbachova's resignation.

Comrade Diaz of Corrante Island has expressed deep reservations about her character, saying that he "[does] not believe in a woman who would so thoughtlessly trivialize the struggle of the people against oppression. We have fought hard against the Capitalists and Industrialists, and such sacrifice is not to be taken lightly." He is currently leading a coalition demanding the retraction of her atrocious "joke" and calling for her to step down in preparation for an investigation into Capitalist ideologies. She has show her true colors, the true industrialist becomes apparent in her desire for power over the masses.

As par the course, Comrade Gorbachova has refused to comment on Comrade Diaz's statements.

Greetings,

The Republic of South Africa is reforming the equipment of its Air Forces, and feels it is in its best interest to purchase the equipment from ADEN, a noteworthy supplier of equipment throughout the world. The equipment we are interested in purchasing are modes of your Supermarine Storke FGR.1, and the Supermarine Stalwart F.2, Supermarine Scimitar Interceptor FAW.1, Hawker Champion BTR.1 Mk 2, and Foster Wikner Explorer GR.2 as well as all recommended equipment for each. As our treasury and budget for military expenditures is quite deep and as such we will pay for you to provide a surplus of armaments for our usage lest they be needed in the future.

Of these we require two thousand five hundred of each model and all armaments you may provide. We lack the time to calculate the financial cost, and trust you to simply deduct the money from our treasury as needed.

Thank you and we hope we may continue to do business in the future.

Mr. Christopher Smith, Ministry of Armament

Your order flouted any and all etiquette. Firstly, your order was oversized and a godmod, secondly, I'm only going to answer specific or valid questions - a "carrier based fighterbomber" is so simple to find from the opening catalogue its not funny.

A.D.E.N Ltd Private Response to South Africa: Thank you for your purchase, which has been confirmed and approved. BLACKBURN BLACKADDER MSE.2
Type: Maritime Strike
Overview: The Blackburn Blackadder Maritime/Strike/Electronic Warfare 2 is the RAF and RN's primary strike aircraft, designed for a variety of missions. Capable of mach 2.1, she can penetrate enemy air and sea defences to deliver a wide variety of munitions, from freefall bombs to anti ship missiles. With her powerful electronic warfare systems, high speed, and good complement of weapons, a squadron of Blackadder aircraft is powerfully defended against surface to air attack. While its name indicates otherwise, the Blackadder really is a multirole bombing aircraft. It is capable of the following roles.
Tactical Bombing
Strategic/Nuclear Bombing
Refuelling (with correct module MSE.2R)
Electronic Attack and Defence
Suppression of Enemy Air Defences
Armed Reconaissance (photo, with correct module (MSE.2PH)
Training
Anti-Shipping Operations
Anti-Submarine Operations (with correct variant, MSE.2SW )
History: The Blackadder's history stems from the fact that Coastal Command never really had a fast, low level attack aircraft to directly attack aircraft with. True, they had the Brigand and the Cossack, but none of these were large enough to carry significant amounts of missiles nor were really capable of long range operations, at least not on the scale that a tanker-assisted Blackadder can. Larger aircraft were available in large numbers to Coastal Command, but for anti-surface operations RAF-CC had quickly realised that turboprop aircraft such as the Battleaxe were not suitable to attack battlegroups with strong air and surface to air defences.

Therefore, the Blackadder was born, to replace the Brigand in naval service as the medium bomber (as it was more suited to ground roles), but also to provide a secondary low level strike option that was more capable in the strategic role. A better tactical land based bomber would be the Blackburn Brigand, as the Blackadder excels in naval roles. Only deployable from large airbases with at least two kilometres of runway, she is a large aircraft destined to deafen those in the houses she thunders over on a nuclear training approach. Nevertheless the Blackadder is symbolic of Coastal Command and Bomber Command and their respective legacies.

Blackadders were produced in large quantities, to fill anti-shipping, nuclear strike, and some photo-reconaissance missions, with smaller numbers of tankers and armed reconaissance variants. Sometime into production, the Praetonian Royal Aircraft Company, looking for investment, and in cooperation with the Praetonian Government offered Blackburn a deal: they would procure 5,000 Blackadder MSE.2s for a 50% share in the aircraft. Normally this would be refused, but Praetonian-Questarian relations allow some more than conventional deals to be allowed, and H.M Governments easily came to an amicable conclusion, and as of now, the RAC owns a 50% share in the further development and export of the Blackburn Blackadder, including a number of factories in Praetonia which have proven to be more efficient at turning out aircraft than their Questarian counterparts.

Design: The Blackadder was chosen to be swing wing because it was believed a variable geometry aircraft would be perfect for the roles envisioned for the Blackadder: that it needed to travel at fast and low speeds, and a swing wing setup would be most effective for this. Furthermore, at the speeds travelled by the Blackadder it was considered that a turbofan engine would be the most effective. Fortunately, Blackburn had the most experience with large turbofan engines in the aviation industry, having designed the Brigand and drawn up many plans for large swing wing strategic bombers and even tactical bombers.

Weaponswise, primarily the Blackadder is primarily an anti shipping platform. She has two wing pylons, one starboard and one port, each capable of carrying 6,500kg worth of munitions or fuel. Each pylon can mount either a light missile - such as Harpoon or Kh-35 - on each side of the pylon or a heavy missile underneath each pylon. This leaves the internal bomb bay, with 12,000kg worth of munitions. Generally the bomb bay carries a rotary missile launcher that stacks up to six missiles and launches them via a revolver system. These missiles can be any that fit the dimensions of the bomb bay: 8.5 metres long, 2.95 metres wide, and 2.95 metres tall. This means that the internal rotary launcher (designation REL.55) can mount, amongst others, the following missiles:
Kh-35 (AS-35)
Kh-55 (AS-15)
AGM-86
BGM-109
AGM-84
Exocet
RBS-15
C-802
BrahMos (only four, due to weight)
On the surface it would appear that given the bomb bay dimensions, larger missiles could be included, such as the ubiquitous Kh-22 or KSR-5. However, missiles this large and heavy pose some significant problems. Firstly, they are too heavy for the rotary system to carry in any large quantity (such as the Brahmos, which is too large to carry the full rotary complement), and secondly they are too large to be rotated by the system. That said, given that the three missile (AS.145) setup is often used by Coastal Command, it is therefore possible: one missile is mounted onthe bottom of the rotary system and is launched conventionally (which means that it is no longer really a rotary launcher...), therefore allowing a much larger missile to be mounted, albeit in smaller numbers, inside the aircraft. Alternatively a heavy can be fitted on a single centreline mount on the bottom of the bomb-bay; this is the case with the AS.145.

In addition to this, instead of a rotary launcher, a single I Band 'BALL SACK' AESA radar can be mounted for naval surveillance operations, capable of 450 kilometres detection range and able to track and mantain and transfer data of up to 108 small targets and 32 large targets. Other weapons can also be mounted on the pylons but typically Coastal Command will provide their reconaissance aircraft with defensive ECM to increase their protection from surface to air weapons and enemy aircraft. It takes six hours to replace the rotary system with the RADAR, and alot of care should be taken as the large electronic device is certainly quite dangerous to the ground crew around it.

The inbuilt electronics (without the AEP) upgrade are some what lacking in resolution and accuracy, but are powerful and fairly easy to maintain (although problems have been expressed with the ECM equipment's reliability in the field, as it is prone to breaking down after heavy use.) The none-AEP SOCK HOLE detection RADAR is capable of a 200km tracking range, but given the missile types are often inertial, and as the MSE.2 will often be flying low, this is more than adequate for its role. The defensive ECM systems directly attack the tracking/RADAR nose of an incoming missile and, so far, are successful in their role of defending an aircraft from missile attack. EW and ECM systems are also mounted on the aircraft to assist it in 'burning through' enemy jamming and also mouting barrage jamming attacks itself.

Variants: Three variants are available as opposed to the standard MSE.2 variant.

MSE.2R: This variant is a refuelling aircraft, that can carry 40,000kg of aircraft in external and internal tanks, capable of refuelling any aircraft with a refuelling probe. All weapons and most systems are removed, except defensive electronics. Two thousand kilometres longer range allows the MSE.2R to 'hop ahead' to provide on-station refuelling. One of the most critical changes to the MSE.2R is to the landing gear, which mounts the aircraft higher in the air to avoid having its large fuel tanks damaged.

MSE.2PH: This reconaissance variant swaps out anti-shipping systems with detection systems, and the main bomb bays with a whole host of photo reconaissance equipment. Not designed for fighting, but can carry out limited photo armed-reconaissance missions with its two hardpoints carrying anti-radiation missiles.

MSE.2SW: This anti submarine variant allows the Blackadder to carry out limited anti-submarine operations, with SONAR bouys and anti-submarine weapons and systems.

Enhanced Avionics Suite: After the Royal Aircraft Company bought a 50% share in the development of the Blackadder, the Questarian and Praetonian militaries offered Blackburn and the RAC a deal, which also would have increased export possibilities. Both the RFC, RAF, and Praetonian/Questarian Coastal Command were somewhat displeased with the original electronics attached to the Blackadder. Although they were not exactly underpowered, both the Questarian and Praetonian military's believed that better electronics could be forged for what they intended to be their frontline naval bomber, and both services with their long traditions and egos would not settle for being second best on the international stage. Therefore it was necessary that superior avionics be developed to keep the Blackadder on top.

As such, RAC worked with Blackburn in an 'Enhanced Avionics Program (EAP)' - it was found that new avionics were not needed, but the original designs were careless and crude. The enhanced versions of the new avionics were capable of between 5 and 75% more efficiency, at a great financial cost to RAC and at great embarrasment to Blackburn. The EAP can be purchased at the listed price for a more effective avionics platform. The enhanced defensive ECM system was found to be 15% more effective, the naval detection radar capable of tracking many more targets (from 8 to 42) at ranges of up to 335km (a 135km improvement). The EAP detection RADAR, while sharing the same name (apart from a Mk.2 designation), is in fact a vastly expanded AESA radar, capable of large scale EW attack, primarily for effective jamming on fleet AEW. Communications and GPS systems were updated to be more secure and faster and terrain following radar was more precise.

Dear sir/madam,

Due to a reorganization within the ranks of the Royal Cottish Air Force, the Realm is seeking new and modern aircraft to replace our old decommissioned designs. Therefore, we have decided to place the following order with the ADEN conglomerate.

The Royal Cottish Air Force is hereby placing an order for the following aircraft with the ADEN conglomerate:

Blackburn Blackadder MRE.2: 3 200 ($320.0 billion)
Blackburn Blackadder MRE.2R: 1 240 ($93.0 billion)
Supermarine Sea Fury E.1 Mk.3: 2 120 ($84.8 billion)
Supermarine Storke FGR.1: 24 000 ($720.0 billion)

Furthermore, we wish to have the adequate armaments to arm these aircraft, so we wish to secure domestic production rights for the following weapons systems:

AIC-50 Cluster Standoff Weapon (Anti-Personnel) ($0.5 billion)
ATC-50 Cluster Standoff Weapon (Anti-Tank) ($0.5 billion)
Guided Direct Attack Munition ($0.25 billion)
Anti-Tank Cluster Munition Series ($0.5 billion)
Aerial Penetration Weapon ($0.5 billion)
Anti Runway Munition Explosives Dispenser ($0.5 billion)

We have calculated this order to come to a grand total sum of $1 217.80275 billion, or just shy of $1.218 trillion Universal Standard Dollars. We realize that this sum is rather substantial, so if possible, we wish to spread the payment out over five annual sums of $243.57 billion Universal Standard Dollars each. If approved, the first annual down payment shall be wired to your accounts upon confirmation of this order.

We humbly await your response.

Subject: Procurement of Blackburn Blackadder

The Empire is greatly impressed by the Blackburn Blackadder MRE.2. We have been closely monitoring its use in the world and we have determined it to be a superior aircraft in its class. With that stated, the Empire is interested in procuring up to 840 aircraft for our Defense Forces and Air Force. The Blackburn Blackadder will serve as the B-8 Dementor and will see use as both a maritime strike bomber, our "A" variant and as a cruise missile carrier, our "B" variant.

If this is accepted, the Empire will immediately wire the appropriate sum of $84,000,000,000.00. If this is accepted, please send the aircraft without their avionics package installed. We plan on retrofitting our own system. However, we do wish for all avionics sets to be delivered with the aircraft and we will store them for future reference, if needed.

Our desired paint scheme is attached with our communique.

Classification Levels

Standard: Standard classification is the normal level of encryption. It is equivalent to the standard levels of encryption seen on most secure e-mail clients.

Confidential: Confidential classification is a higher level of encryption than "Standard" but it is not heavily encrypted. It is used mostly for flash traffic to foreign countries and requires some additional decoding time. It uses 512-bit RSA encryption methods and has several key ciphers that change unpredictably.

Secure: Secure communiques use 1024-bit RSA encryption and several key ciphers within them that change unpredictably to ensure that message traffic is not hacked or decoded. Access to said messages would require heavy cracking software and significant resources but it is not "uncrackable." It can be a viable level through 2010.

Encrypted: Encrypted classification is the second highest level of classification. It is uses 2048-bit RSA encryption and multiple key ciphers within it to ensure that cracking it would take such a significant amount of time to accomplish that, should it be done, the message's usefulness would have already expired. Though anything is crackable, because of the methods employed, this level is often considered "uncrackable" by current capabilities. To ensure revolving protecting, ciphers and encryption algorithms will change unpredictably. This level is sufficient until 2030.

Maximum: Maximum classification is the highest level of classification available. It uses 3072-bit RSA encryption and multiple key ciphers that change unpredictably. It can provide protection past 2030.

Experimental: Currently not a fully recognized level, experimental denotes a category using 15360-bit RSA encryption and multiple key ciphers that change unpredictably. It is not in full operational use as of yet.

Edit: Also, there is a typo with the Boxer. You numbered the roles, and Supression of enemy air defense is labeled as 2 when it's really 3. The one before it is also labeled as 2.

The USSY would like to buy a number of Questrian military aircraft in an attempt to modernize our Air Corps and Naval Air Fleet.

However, since the Yanitarian military is constantly growing, we would like to ask if it is possible to buy Domestic Production Rights for the air craft classes we choose. Would there be any restricted aircraft?

ADEN doesn't really operate a DPR system as such, please read the opening post. There are probably no restrictions.

Our most modern fighter is the Supermarine Stalwart F.2 and it is superior to the Su-30MKI in terms of avionics, agility, speed, rate of climb.

A cooperation program is not available at this time, sorry.

SUPERMARINE SHAWSHANK FAW.2
Type: Interceptor
Overview: Armed with a possible four super-BVR AAMs and six BVR-AAMs and an AESA RADAR that can detect and track up to 48 bombers at 450 kilometres with a 140 degrees azimuth, the Shawshank is the standard Questarian interceptor that can catch bomber regiments and gut them before they or their escorts figure out whats happened. Little wonder that the designers named the aircraft Pfeffa, Lapine for Cat, one of the fastest and most comparatively for its size deadly predators on Earth. Its standard armament of two G-48 missiles allows it to take long range, AEW&C-linked potshots at bomber formations or hostile AWACs, while the four G-43 missiles mounted in recesses under the fuselage can be left to acquire targets as the Shawshank closes in on its targets, spurred onto greater range by fuel tanks and protected by two highly capable ECM pods. That is, of course, just a single Questarian uses. The large size of the aircraft's weapons slots allow it to field a multitude of weapons, even ASATs.

G-76 Medium Range (Active RADAR/IIR) AAM

The G-76 air to air missile is a Questarian medium range air to air, fire and forget missile which requires the aircraft to lock onto a target to fire, but afterwards can use inertial pathing and an active radar to guide itself to the target, then uses its infrared imaging terminal guidance to lock onto a target, making it highly resistant to countermeasures such as chaff and flares.

The G-76 uses potato-masher style rather than delta fins and can achieve 12.5g maneouvrability from its streamlined design, making it deadly against even the most maneouvrable fighters, as in the first phase its active radar only intermittently looks for targets (although semi-locking them and 'remembering' them) which makes it less vulnerable to jamming and the missile can also choose when to go into infrared-imaging mode based on the distance to the target.

This does mean however that well trained and disciplined pilots knowledgeable in Questarian weaponry can deceive the G-76 by pulling tricks and maneouvres but this is obviously alot harder than it sounds.

Subject: Substantial Order
______________________________

Dear sir,

The Realm is very pleased with the Questerian aircraft we have in service, and therefore has no second thoughts about returning to ADEN for yet another substantial purchase in order to bolster the ranks of the Kongelige Cottiske Flyvåpen (Royal Cottish Air Force). Therefore, without much further ado, we wish to purchase the following:

Dauntless F.3: 22 500 aircraft @ $85M ea. = $1 912.5 billion NSD
Shawshank FAW.3: 6 000 aircraft @ $60M ea. = $360 billion NSD
Blackadder MSE.2AEP: 5 000 aircraft @ $200M ea. = 1 000 billion NSD
Blackadder MSE.2APER: 460 aircraft @ $200M ea. = $92 billion NSD

Additionally, we require sufficient spare parts and reserve engines to keep the aircraft operational for at least two decades, and Questerian assistance in the training of the initial air crews of the Dauntless and Shawshank aircraft. We will make use of our experience and competence on the instruction of the new Blackadder crews.

The total cost for the aircraft has been calculated to a total of $3 364.5 billion NSD, which has been rounded up to $3 370 billion NSD in order to compensate for the spare parts cost. This will if permitted be wired to your accounts in five equal annual sums of $674 billion NSD, with the first transfer of funds to take place as soon as this order is confirmed by ADEN.

We look forward to the arrival of the first aircraft.

[TO] The esteemed Aerospace Developers Export Network
[FROM] Department of War, Purchasing Subdivision, Kampfers

Greetings from Kampfers once more. I feel it my obligation to state that until this point, the products of which Kampfers has procured from this assemblage of military purveyors have performed admirably in every role they have been required. Of the number of planes that Kampfers bought from this export group, none have so far seen combat, but that has not diminished their impact. The FGR.1 Storke has been delegated to a reconnaissance and patrol platform within the Kampferian Luftwaffe, but they continue to fulfill the role of a multirole fighter in the Flottenluftdienst. With the advent of the Libertyfighter, the Flottenluftdienst will likely begin to relegate more and more to lesser roles as well, but it will continue to serve for many years to come. That said, however, the Storke is not what brings us here today. The ordanance we purchased from this group has also proved its worth, and will continue to be a great asset for any Kampferian Pilot.

At this time, we recognize the need to upgrade our fleet of Maritime Bombers. These planes have traditionally been of Questarian origin, and given the advent of the Blackadder will continue to be for quite some time. The first plane of it's kind was the G4M6 Hayabusa, and recently we purchased quite a number of Blackburn Battleaxe MRA.2's. Much to our delight, and simultaneously our chagrin, you released an even better product, the Blackburn Blackadder MSE.2. Although our pocketbooks will take a hit, the upgrade from the MRA.2 is so worthwhile that we have decided to upgrade our entire fleet of maritime bombers to the new standard, as well as expanding it to roughly twice it's previous size, give or take the few G4M6's that remained in service. As such, we will currently require 2,000 airframes of the Blackburn Blackadder MSE.2. Due to the Ku-47D1 Milkman, a Juuman product, already fulfilling the role of a tanker for our aircraft, we will not require any of the MSE.2R's at this point in time. Furthermore, the MSE.2PH does not seem up to par with the standards of the rest of the catalouge, and is rather outdated, and as such we will not purchase any of these either. We will, however, purchase 200 of the MSE.2SW variants, as we feel that they would complement our current anti-submarine warfare sectors effectively. In each of these planes, we will require the Enhanced Avionics Suite, as the cost benefit ratio is simply too good to be ignored. The total price for the normal MSE.2's with the Enhanced Avionics Suite will be $400 billion dollars, and the total for the MSE.2SW's with the Enhanced Avionics Suite will be $47 billion dollars, bringing the total cost before the "Favoured Nations" discount to $447 billion dollars.

Although it pains me to rob such fine companies of their hard earned cash, Kampfers will be taking her discount in full today. Money may not be tight these days, but you can be sure that it does not grow on trees. In the past, we have attempted to leave a courtesy tip of gratitude for the companies, and although we will not be doing so this time, we hope to resume this practice in the future. After the discount, the final total comes out to $440.295 billion dollars. Once more, I wish to thank you for your products, and I hope that these ones will perform as splendidly as their predecessors.

Good day,

At this time, we at the Department of Defense have recieved requests from the Republic Navy for an additional acquisition of Blackadder maritime bomber aircraft. Thus far, the ones we have in service have performed superbly, and to further increase the aerial striking arm of the Navy, we should like to purchase additional units.

We request an additional one-thousand and twenty (1,020) units of the Blackadder MSE.2, and one-hundred and twenty (120) units of the MSE.2SW version, both to be equipped with the AEP upgrades. The total purchase cost for this comes to $231.6 billion USD, which will be made available through the usual channels once the order is confirmed.

Inquiry of the Dictorial Republic of Sumer - Office of Military Procurment

After much deliberation and consideration of various potential aircraft, including foreign and domestic designs, the Dictorial Republic has come to the conclusion that the Blackburn Blackadder MSE.2 is the aircraft presently best suited to the current, and future, needs of the Sumerian armed forces. The Blackadder has shown it is capable of operating in the strategic role, which is what we require, as well as various other roles as shown by its primary Maratime Strike capability in foreign hands, and its various conversions. As such, we have decided to attempt to procure the Blackadder for our use.

We, however, have a few issues which we must clear up, for legal reasons. Due to force integration issues we would like to procure the Blackadder as a standard frame only bomber variant, lacking avionics and engines. Once delivered, the aircraft frames would then be extensivly modified to comply with their service needs in the Sumerian forces, including the integration of Sumerian avionics and systems, as well as the Kyt-1250 turbofan engine currently used in the FJ-12 interceptor. We do not, at this time, believe there will be any issues which we can not quickly solve regarding this, for the technical side. Likewise, we are unsure of the asking price for such an order per aircraft, and as such are unable to provide a price of payment. However, based upon the price of the standard Blackadder variant, we believe it well within our range.

The total number of airframes which would be required would ammount to twenty-five thousand (25,000). A large order indeed, but one which we are willing to pay for. To comply with Sumerian system compatability all airframes shall be of the standard bomber variant, and will be modified prior to entry into service to their designated role, which will be divided between dedicated maritime strike, strategic bomber, and tanker platforms.

To provide your company assets with predicted modifications schemes, the following list is provided. In Sumerian service the aircraft would be identified as MBJ-12 "Anzu", which is the Sumerian word for vulture. The following variants would be modified, with the remaining airframes stored for reserve use as nessecary.

MBJ-12A - Medium Bomber: 11,500
MBJ-12B - Maritime Strike: 8,000
MBJ-12C - Tanker: 4,290

We would appreciate an apt response to this potential sale, and look forward to the deal going through, and potential future deals.

Ribishar Erishti Dumumiazimrik Dumuayak Kishak

Message from Alexander Kirillovich Kazansky

For one, I would like to purchase a Supermarine Storke aircraft. I do not believe I need to make any explanation as to why I want one, but I will nonetheless: During their service with the United States Air Force, the Storke-series aircraft have served the Allaneans extremely well, and they have been one of the most favored, reliable, and user-friendly fighters of the Allanean Air Force. I endorse heavily the use of the Supermarine Storke in all its modifications and the products of the Aerospace Developers Export Network.

From: Mr. White, foreign affairs office, Dominion of Emperor Pudu XLII

The Dominion of our Emperor Pudu XLII offers his greetings to the esteemed foreign developers represented by the Aerospace Developers Export Network.

As of late the Imperial Armed Forces of his Dominion have become increasingly interested in the catalogue of products offered by the Export Network, and specifically, the Imperial Navy and Imperial Air Forces have both become interested in the aircraft you call the Blackburn Battleaxe MRA.2, offered by your constituent, Blackburn Aircraft Ltd. After review of the product and the presumed cost, the Imperial Air Forces have decided to confirm their desire to obtain the aircraft, for coastal defense purposes related to the homeland and the colonies.

To do this, the Imperial Air Forces have set aside one-point eight trillion Universal Standard Dollars from their annual procurement budget to secure the purchase of twelve-thousand examples of this aircraft, the Blackburn Battleaxe MRA.2, to constitute two new Air Armies in the service of the Imperial Air Forces.

If the ADEN and the Blackburn Aircraft company can comply to our request, the funds required for the purchase are available from our government, and will be released immediately after confirmation is received from the Blackburn Aircraft company or the Export Network.

The Emperor and his Dominion thank the Aerospace Developers Export Network for making the acquisition possible, and the Blackburn Aircraft company for producing such a fine example of aerospace technology.
