'The monumental part of history came early in the 21st century, when President-Kommissariat Maximillian Zachary Coltrane was voted from office and replaced by a hard-line Stalinist, President-Kommissariat Igor Donovitch Makenov. Unlike all previous members of the Cynapsian government, Igor Makenov took the notion of world revolution to an almost fanatical belief. Once the President-Kommissariat was informed of the existence of the Kommissariat of Paranormal Activities, he broke the one single rule - usage of the technology outside of extra-terrestrial contact. The results would change the world for centuries to come...'

Timeline: 21st to 22nd Century
2008: Maximillian Coltrane voted from office. Igor Makenov takes the President-Kommissariacy. Makenov begins top secret committee investigation into the uses of extra-terrestrial equipment within the Cynapsian Red Army, coined the 'Makenov Plan'.
2009: Head of Kommissariat of Paranormal Activities and serious critic of the Makenov Plan, Peter Redland, killed in a car accident on the outskirts of New London. Police investigation is quietly suppressed and no person is charged. Laura Quentin, long-time supporter of Igor Makenov, appointed as new Kommissariat in charge of the KPA.
2010: Cold Fusion reactors mastered by KPA scientists, and installation of vehicle-sized units begin to be installed in the modified Battle Tanks used by the Alien Defence Corps.
2015: Antimatter reactors salvaged from wrecked spacecraft are successfully reverse-engineered and utilised as power sources for KPA bases. Research into Antimatter explosives and miniturisation for weapon power supplies begins.
2020: The first Antimatter bomb is created, and full-scale production begins. Makenov reveals technology to the Cynapsian High Command and the Cabinet of Kommissariats, who both approve the usage of technology within the Red Army. Nature of "advanced" technology is revealed to the general public, but sources remain untold.
2021: Implementation of Tritanium armour into armoured vehicles begins, with Depleted Deuterium weaponry to replace standard rifled Battle Tank guns. Full scale production of Infantry Tritanium Armour and LR1 Laser Assault Rifles begin. Naval vessels begin similar outfitting.
2030: Implementation complete. Troops armed with laser weaponry, and armoured vehicles fully equipped. Antimatter weaponry weaponised into missile and bomb form. Tensions mount between Cynapsia and other world nations in the light of the buildup.
2035: The War of Planetary Liberation begins, with Cynapsian Red Army units striking into nearby nations. Cynapsian Missile and air units launch a devastating wave of antimatter missiles and bombs into major military targets within multiple nations. Incredible amounts of widespread damage and death. Cynapsia attacked with nuclear weapons, resulting in widespread civilian casualties. Makenov vows to continue.
2045: Cynapsian Red Army forces conquer three-quarters of the globe, virtually unstoppable due to their advanced technology. Antimatter weapons and laser technology are used without discretion.
2047: Final nations of the world surrender under threat of Antimatter bombing by Cynapsian forces. Red Army units begin to disperse to maintain peace in various areas of the world. Makenov declares the Cynapsian World Soviet Union.
2050: Period of redevelopment begins. Antimatter power technology is exported to replace destroyed power sources. A period of rebuilding and re-education begins. Makenov passes away at 72, and is succeeded by Vice-President-Kommissariat and personal friend, Victor Albury Rodchenko, aged 30.
2072: The First Great Rebellion erupts. Red Army forces brutally suppress resistance. Education and rebuilding processes begun across the world.
2080: The Second Great Rebellion. Red Army forces suppress once more.

2100 - Victor Rodchenko passes away, aged 80. Succeeded by David Maximillian Jackson, aged 32.
2130. Re-education process takes rebellion down to near zero levels. Reconstruction efforts practically complete. Antimatter power sources world-wide. Each country created as a state within the Cynapsian World Soviet Union, with a local government and National Senators sent to a World Congress of Deputies. Jackson declared World President-Kommissariat and appoints a World Cabinet of Kommissariats. Construction of orbital space docks begins. Formation of the Cynapsian Red Army Space Force for the purposes of space exploration, colonisation and defence in light of alien species.
2143: Developments in technology lead to the discovery of an electroactive polymer called Molymer, retractable when supplied with an electrical current. First proposals for Bipedal Battle Tanks begin to be put forward, with the use of Molymer as a potential 'muscle' structure to solve the problems of speed and agility associated in the past. Construction of Orbital Docks completed. David Jackson passes away aged 85. First Planet-wide Presidential elections are held, and Shuji Lin Chan, aged 35, from the Chinese Soviet Socialist State elected to the premiership on a platform of militarisation and expansion.
2150: First Space-capable fighters go into production for the CWSU. Plans for further development of space-capable capital ships put forward. First Battlemech prototypes developed and proved battle-capable in trials.

2. The Basic Law of the Cynapsian World Soviet Union
We hold these truths to be self evident, and maintain these fundamental principles above all others in the spirit of continuing the freedom of the worker and the prosperity of the World Soviet Union in the eternal fight against capitalist oppression:
Article One – The Right to food, clean water, shelter, education and healthcare for all citizens of the World Soviet Union to be provided by the state.
Article Two – The Right to guaranteed employment for all citizens of the World Soviet Union, to be provided by the state, only to be restricted on the basis of incompetence or disability.
Article Three – The Right to free, fair elections for Deputies and the President-Kommissariat of the Socialist Vanguard Party, both on a local and global level.
Article Four – The Right to freedom from persecution on the basis of gender, sexual orientation or ethnic background.
Article Five – The Right to privacy within the confines of a citizen’s home.
Article Six – The Right to stand for political office for all citizens of the World Soviet Union.
---
3. Governmental Structure of the CWSU
CWSU Government follows a combination of Marxist-Leninist and Republican principles, adopted by Igor Makenov from the original "Cynapsian State Socialism" following his accession to power. Government is largely classified into two categories - State and World - with some organisations straddling between the two levels.
World Government of the CSWU comprises a President-Kommissarat elected by popular global vote from each member state, and is both Head of State and Government. The President-Kommissariat appoints a World Politburo, comprising Kommissariats (Ministers) to manage the Kommissariats of State (Ministries). A World Congress of Deputies is also elected, comprising 960 Deputies in total, that acts as the legislative body for the CWSU. Finally, the Judiciary is comprised of a ten-judge World Supreme Court, which ensures legislation passed does not contradict Cynapsian Basic Law, and acts as the highest court of appeals in the CWSU. The World Government is tasked with defence, foreign affairs, ensuring social welfare and setting overall economic targets for heavy industry and armaments manufacturing.
The Cynapsian World Soviet Union is comprised of 193 Soviet Socialist States, each with its own government controlled by a local section of the Socialist Vanguard Party. At the local level, a Governor-Kommissariat is elected regularly by the state population, who in turns appoints a cabinet of Kommissariats to run the local economy. State government concerns itself with the organisation of economic activity to meet targets put forward in the heavy industry and social welfare sectors of the economy, as well as organising civil law enforcement and local judiciaries appointed by the Governor-Kommissariat.
---
4. Economic Structure of the CWSU
The economy of the CWSU is a combination of state planning and popular control by citizens. Overall targets are set by the Kommissariat for the State Economy for heavy industry, agriculture and arms manufacture, as well as providing healthcare, education and other basic utilities. The Consumer sector of the economy is run on the basis of free market principles, with businesses competing against eachother for market share and profits. However, businesses are owned entirely by the workers, who each recieve an equal number of shares in the business, elect a board of directors, participate in sharing of the profits and democratically approving business plans put forward by the elected management. In this manner, the consumer sector takes the benefits of the free market whilst removing the alienation of the workers from their labour.
