Ambassador Dmitriy Petravavlavsky-Kmachatka looked out his window that morning and saw a bunch of hooligans running around with red flags and pictures of Vladimir Illyich Ulyanov. When he noticed the massive number of protesters in the middle of the road, he immediately phoned the government in Stoklomolvi. One of the Commissar's secretaries picked up.

"There are these hooligans in the middle of the road claiming that they wish for a revolt to communism!"

"Well, what are you saying?"

"I'm saying, is that our relations with the Imperial Dictatorship of Greal is at stake here! Hundreds of thousands of protesters are here, and the government of Greal probably knows already! I'm going to phone the imperial government."

With that, Dmitriy hung up. He then dialled the extension for the government building in Sasha.

"Hello? Ah, yes, this is ambassador Dmitriy Petravavlavsky-Kmachatka of Stoklomolvi, and I am seeing thousands of protesters in the street..."

Communists began destorying stores and throwing bricks at the nearest store. Greal troops now had to do something, they fired into the air.
"Stop now, or we will fire."said a loudspeaker.
The communists continued to ignore the Greal soldiers, they put up a red flag on the pole. A Greal soldier fired at the pole, the flag was knocked down by the bullets, but the communists braved the bullets and put up the red flag again.
"Lenin will rule Greal!."yelled a communist on the red pole.
Greal troops looked at their commanders for orders, the commanders didn't know what to do.

At the other side of Sasha, the Greal 8th army of 300,000 troops arrived, They were armed with pretty much everything a soldier needed. tear gas was fired, but the communists protesters had gas masks, which the Greal troops were completely surprised.

Dmitriy rode in the humvee, watching as the communist protesters yelled at him through the glass.

"Remember who you are, comrade!" "You're one of us!" "Join us, and overthrow this blasted dictatorship!" "Come, comrade! Join us in our battle against the oppressor!"

Dmitriy just sat there and stared out the glass, when, suddenly, a number of communists with red flags and apparently stolen riot shields (they had the Greal markings on them) appeared. They rammed the flags into the glass windows, which held only for mere seconds. The Greal troops around the humvee were smashed to bits by the protesters, and Dmitriy was dragged out of the humvee and into the cheering crowd.

"You're safe with us now, comrade!"

Dmitriy, who was utterly confused, as then shot by a loyalist on top of a roof. His corpse was laid gently on the ground, while the communists pulled out pistols and shot the loyalist to kingdom come. Dmitriy Petravavlavsky-Kmachatka lay dead on the pavement.

CPl. Westfield headed his squad down the alley way. The pop-pop-pop of machine gun fire in the distance indictaed the riot had long since broken out into a small battle. "Kepp low, move fast, shoot anything with a hammer and sickle." The lead marine nodded and rounded the corner, noly to catch a round in thr chest. The bullet tore through his vest and thumped against the back, his face controted in a grimace of pain as he fell. "Medic!" He screamed through blood bubles. CPL. Westfiled waved his hand down. "Sniper, get to cover!" One of his men kicked in a door for cover and was shredded by assault rifle fire. A marine sidled up against the door, pulled a pin on a grenade and held up and semi-clenched fist fire in the hole he rolled the grenade in, hoping it wouldn't be noticed. Seconds later, an explosion blew out the ground floor windows, followed by bits and pieces of rubble, blood and bone. "Clear!" he shouted. The marines filed into the groundfloor and immediatly secured the stair well. "Sniper on the roof, three men, go!"

"Lord Commander Militant, the Greal Army has engaged the Communist dissidents, should I inform the Emperor of this?"

The Commander had no answer for many minutes. He was used to suppressing dissident outbreaks, as such things were common during Zakuvia's inception as an Empire. Many supporters of the aristocracy and the Anarchist Front did not accept the Emperor's ascension, and violently resisted, looting and destroying many innocent businesses and homes.

"Don't send word until I give you the go-ahead. This is Greal's problem, and the Imperial Guard is still not yet at Offensive Readiness." The Lieutenant seemed upset with his Commander's order. Sensing his look, he said with a low sigh, "But do order the Imperial Navy to move their combat drills to the closest border to Greal, just in case."

"And if any of these dissidents should attempt to flee towards Zakuvian ground for asylum?" Again, he had no answer. Mistakes could be made if he ordered the border to become a DMZ. Innocent refugees fleeing what looked like a governmental crackdown could be mistaken as hostiles by already edgy border guards...those same mistakes could bring the Empire into open war with Greal, something neither side wished for.

"Have Arrowhead reconnaisance flights 24/7 over our border. If anyone is spotted crossing, the mission scenario is Take and Hold. Under no circumstance should our forces be the aggressor. Fire if fired upon, but capture otherwise. Send them to Outpost 142 for detainment and screening, then, if we are certain they are refugees, move them to Outpost 318, otherwise, have Thunderhawk transports airdrop our 'uninvited guests' back on their homeland, sans grav-chutes. Given their treatment of these dissidents, I don't think they'll mind a little high velocity fertilizer. For the Empire."

With this, the Lord Commander left back to his War Council, leaving the Lieutenant to carry his heavy message back to the field commanders.

When they neared the top, shouts of "For the revolution!" and prolonged gunfire gunfire echoed through the stairwell, the low bangs of the Xm 8s mixing with the high pitched pops of the Ak-47s. The firefight continued for several minutes, and cries of pain echoed down the stairs, whether they were his own men or the communists, he didn't know. Right when the gunfire died down, he saw one of his marines stagger towards then rail, the pitch forward, fallig sraight down with a cry of suprise. He landed with a sickening crunch. Cpl. Luckily most travel had ended so there shouldn't be to many Mokans in Greal, out of what used to be hundreds monthly had trickled down to 10 to 15 going into Greal, and this no doubt would cut that number down even more.

Two sickle wielding bastards ran out from an alley and he sprayed them down with his old school machine gun, the engineers on the other hand were firing AM-07Ps, larger caliber and more accurate then the AK-47 or the AK-74.

"fall back to the embassy comradezzzz!!!!"

Yuri was out of ammo but wouldnt drop his gun, instead he slung it over his shoulder and picked a AM-07P of a dead engineer and continued to fire on the "commie bastards." The constuction equipment served well as a shield against bullets and low grade explosives like Molotovs, but the embassy was there best hope. Inside the embassy a few engineers had already pulled out the riot shields, AKMs, mortars and RPG-27. The mortars set up on what was the makeshift rooftop, an attempt to provide artillery support to the battlefield.

By now, the near fanatical crowd grew angrier by the moment. Eventually, the crowd retreated to the VTOLs, where they blew up the engines with RPGs and molotovs and took shelter in and around the VTOLs. Meanwhile, a number of communist infantry ran into the embassy where the general was at, and tossed frags and fired at will into the structure.

The tank given by North Calaveras was received well by the rebels. The tank, which was facing the Greal forces, fired as many shells as it could at the men before getting blown apart by the Greal tanks. The other rebels were hiding behind the disabled VTOLs and were firing as much as they could at the Greal men.

Vladistov Kremlin, Stoklomolvi

"This is preposterous!"

Alexei slammed his newspaper on his desk.

"Why is it that the Communists living in other countries always rebel against their leaders, creating a bad image for everybody else?! It...angers...me. Our men are tied up in Yanitaria and Cripistan, though we still have three million men left, correct?"

"Y-y-yes, s-sir."

"Very good. Hmm...send forty packages of supplies to both ends; forty unmarked to the communists, forty marked to Greal. Give them the exact same thing in all of the boxes: AK-2134 Assault Rifles, unmarked."

"R-right away, s-s-sir."

The secretary ran out of the room and quickly complied to Alexei's order. Alexei smiled evilly.

"Heh, let's see how this war turns out."

Somewhere in Sasha, Greal

A man who looked identical to Vladimir Illyich Lenin was making a speech to the populace about the glory of communism.

"Good citizens of Sasha! The Communists have risen! Join your brethren in their fight against the oppressors!"

With that, some cheered, others booed.

Sasha

Greal soldiers fired again into the crowd, the communists stood and fired back, Greal troops fired from the buildings, causing communists to get hit from behind. Greal tanks began to move forward, so the communists had 2 choices, run or get slaughtered by the tanks. Some chose to ran, while others jumped unto the tanks and tried to blow it up. The 8th army was soon to be reinforced by the 29th army which was on its way.

After exchanging hellos and asking to fill the car up, he reached under his seat and found a plastic explosive he had placed there. With the Greal Soilders moving to embassy avenue the exchanging of explosive got easier. The terrorist smiled as he was told he was all filled up. He pressed the detnator on the explosive and a huge boom and explosion rocked the gas station and the near by buildings. The gas station was now dangerous on fire and people no doubt would be very hurt. It would be even worse if the fire hit the gas line...

"Where d'ya want 'em, Comrade Ptushkin?"

"Over here would be fine, thank you, Comrade Haglol."

Curcuna Haglol walked around to the back of the airliner; the several score of communist militants followed him. Ivan Ptushkin kept a close eye on him as he opened the cargo bay and put down the ramp; Ptushkin peered into the darkness, but nothing could be seen. It was night. (If it had not been night, the five unmarked airliners would never have gotten in; as it was it was a close call, but fortunately all of the rioting and assorted difficulties across the country had allowed them to slip in under the radar.

Haglol gestured to the planes. "They're all in here. Seven or eight towed guns a plane -- you can count 'em if you want -- thirty crates of AKs, ten crates of sniper rifles, ammo of course -- and the smaller crates in that corner are hundred-dollar bills, about ten thousand of them a crate."

Ptushkin grinned. "You've done us well, Comrade Haglol."

Haglol allowed himself a small smile. "You've got six hours to unload 'em all, then these planes blow sky-high. And remember, this is unofficial assistance -- that's why all of these are mass-produced weapons. No official markings or anything. Try not to let slip where you got 'em."

After the exchange had been made, Haglol gestured to Ptushkin. "Comrade Ptushkin. Would you come speak to me for a minute?"

"Certainly." They went around the planes towards the other end of the airfield, where the tiny private plane was waiting with the other four pilots and their co-pilots. Ptushkin was the Murran KGB operative in Greal; and he was afforded the due respect as a consequence. "Ivan," Haglol said when they were out of hearing from the communist militants. "Same thing tomorrow night then?"

"We got lucky tonight, Curcuna. It was cloudy and their guard was down. If you want to get in again tomorrow night, I'll have to start playing around with their systems...."

"Shit. I knew we had it too easy this time. How hard will that be?"

"Not that hard, really. I enlisted in the air force, remember? Well, right now I'm running a bit over my nine hour pass, so when I get back to base they'll give me a few days confinement to barracks or cleaning duties or something. You know how it works."

"Air Force, eh? What do you fly, then?"

"Don't fly anything. I signed up for communications, and I'm mostly assigned to air traffic control. Anyway, I've got friends in the Air Force. I once got my instructions in the k-rats, ferinstance."

"Haha, isn't that the old trick." They had reached the private plane. Haglol swung around to glance at Ptushkin. "So tomorrow night won't work?"

"I'd put it down in four nights, myself. Don't want the buggers getting too suspicious about all this new weaponry that the commies are fielding."

"You think they'll catch on to this field?"

"Sure. I'll let you know where to land next time."

"The next one will be an awful lot bigger," warned Haglol. "Tanks, maybe even N-arty. So whatever diversion you create better be good."

"Don't worry."

Ptushkin watched the private plane disappear into the air. Then he set out back for his AFB and steeled himself to face the wrath of his CO, who was fortunately a relatively nice and tolerant guy, as far as COs went (and Ptushkin had plenty of experience with them).

CPO. Green's entire squad was pinned down in the city square. Squad four had lost almost all fo its marines, and squad two wasn't faring any better. "Wilkson, how bad is it?" Wilkson barley leaned around the corner when a flurry of AK rounds shredded his head. "Not to good." Said Green with a grim humor. "All pull back, link up with whatever marines are left, and get me a damn radio!" One of the marines dashed from cover, braving assault rifle and sniper bullets, and tossed a radio moments before his leg was hit by a round from a Drugunov. CPO Green watched in mute horror as the communist proceeded to fill his body with rounds. He immdiatly flipped to the HQ channel. "Command, were outnumber, outgunned, enemy keeps growin by the second. Need reinforcements, need 'em now." A second of static and HQ's reply came back. "Roger that, dispataching gunships and transport choppers, do you require anything else?" Green grimaced as another marine was mowed down. "This ain't a damn restraunt, anything will do!" A longer silence. "Roger that, dispatching civil protection units." CPO. Green dropped the satalite phone, the Civil protection units wre the worst the marines had to offer for riots requiring military force, if the battle could still be called a riot. hearted murders, thats what the CPs were Perhaps a breif description of the CPs would be adequete.

The Union Civil Protection was institued on July 4th, 1988 following severe rioting by anti-government groups. They had one mission, silence the crowd by using extreme force, that means shooting the crowd without regards for civilians, and killing all woundedand survivors. They were the last on call for riots, and they had more combat experience then some marines, making them a force to be reckoned with.

"CPO. Green, are you there?" The voice crackled out of the satalite phone. He picked it up. "Yeah, still here. Don't send in the CPs just yet, let the marines do there job," Another second of silence. "Further losses will warrant use of the CPs, is that acceptable Chief?" Green grimaced again. "Fine, damn it."

Communists had secretly mined the highway with land mines, and they had blockaded the road further down out of sight of the tanks. Most were armed with RPG-7s, and were hiding either underneath the highway section or behind the dividers and side barriers. They waited for the tanks to arrive.

Embassy Avenue, Sasha, Greal

The Communists were taking heavy casualties. Two of the VTOLs exploded, killing many of the communist forces. However, they continued to resist with all of their weapons, including RPG-7s. They fired as many shots as they could at the enemy until the situation was completely hopeless, at which point almost all of the communists detonated themselves, throwing blood and bones everywhere.

Unknown point near the coast

A small, unmarked ship sailed near a small cliff, where communists waited. They walked aboard the ship, where the captain snapped his fingers and several deckhands appeared with crates. They ferried them to the shore and back, and once forty crates were unloaded the captain sailed off. The communists opened the boxes to find nothing other than ammunition and assault rifles [AK-2130, unknown at the moment]. One of the men picked up one of the assault rifles and cocked it, and then shot at a uniformed man quite a distance away. Almost forty bullets spewed out of the gun before the rebel could control it, and the uniformed man slumped over with nearly thirty bullet holes in him.

Commander Jeralim lowered his vid-enhancers. The scene was of almost eloquent catastrophe: dead and dying dissidents lay in the streets, with the less fortunate ones still gasping for air as Greali troopers finished them with cold efficiency. Slowly, inexorably slowly, the government was retaking the streets from the Communists. Pockets of resistence, makeshift sleeper cells cropped up attempting to flank the advancing forces, but their ineffective weaponry and tactics was of little use against the heavily armed and armored units.

"Rather beautiful, isn't it Jeralim?"

A man in a ruddy trenchcoat approached his vehicle. The Imperial Eagle upon his brimmed cap clearly denoted his authority. Jeralim sent a snappy salute his way, and returned to peering behind the vid-enhancer.

"Quite, Commissar Gylkat. It's become an elegent mess over there. I've seen so many foreign marks that I'm having to consult the Primer... Mokastani, Zackarothian, UHC, Greali, Murran, it's like watching a holovid war drama."

"This is a very real war, Jeralim, never forget that." He said with a biting tone. The Commander didn't answer, he simply refocused his lenses and continued his reconnaisance. Speaking as if he hadn't heard the Commissar's derisive words, he asked plainly,

"The Commissariat doesn't usually come this far out unless they have something important to do, so what is it?" His distinct lack of protocol agitated the well-built and well-scarred man, but he didn't show it.

"The High Lords wish to know whether or not the Communists have a chance at taking Greal. If they do, we will likely begin mobilization and the usual trifles of the Senatorum."

"Sir, the only way I see the Communists winning now is if the Murrans go nuclear, which you and I both know isn't happening." This made the Commissar's eyes squint.

"Commander, never underestimate the desperation of the Communists. If the Murrans feel cornered, or are themselves invaded in a counter-attack, I think we will be glad for our I-field generators back in Zakuvia." The soldier lowered his vid-enhancers and looked at his superior quizzically.

"There's something I don't get, Commissar. Zakuvia is socialist, shouldn't we be out helping them instead of just sitting here in this Rhino, looking on?" Faster than a man of his stature could conceivably move, the Commissar leapt onto the tracks of the APC, pulled out his service revolver, and pistol whipped the Guardsman in the side of the face, sending him tumbling out of his armored copula. Stunned and reeling in pain, he looked up towards the Commissar and saw a man as furious as a Baneblades barrel-end. His revolver was pointed dead center on the Commanders head, with not an errant twitch in his hand.

"Learn this and learn this well, Guardsman Jeralim, the Zakuvian Empire did not form itself on the false promises and honeyed venom of Communism. Our government is made of the peoples decisions, our army is of the people's design, our Emperor is our people's avatar, and our people's will is our right to be here. Communism is nothing more than a thinly red-veiled guise for tyranny and anarchy! Count your many blessings, Jeralim, for if you were not the only recon unit in a thousand miles, I would have shot you without a seconds pause. Now get back to your post, Guardsman!" With a snapping flap of his trenchcoat, Gylkat hopped off of the APC, mounted his speeder, holstered his pistol, and left.

25-10-2007, 18:20
Ivan Ptushkin had already gotten the message out to the nearest parties of communist rebels. Now all that remained was the rather difficult task of actually informing his Murran comrades where to land their arms shipments. It was a problem he pondered as he sat in the control tower of an airfield, only half tracking the incoming civilian airliner making its regularly scheduled flight from Mokastana. He had to get to long-range radio, or preferably a computer with e-mail; otherwise this portion of the global revolution would never get its tanks.

It then occurred to him that in this specific room there were only a couple of other people, and if he needed to he could finish them off, or at least incapacitate them long enough to send the appropriate message. For a moment his hand went to the silenced service pistol at his side; then he resolved to give the easy way a try first.

Getting up, he moved towards the airman closest to him, whom he knew only vaguely. "It's a slow night, Mike.... Y'wanna go downstairs, grab a beer or something? I'll hold your, er, thingy." Ptushkin had never bothered to learn English all too well, although what he did know he spoke with only the faintest trace of an accent.

"Thanks, but I'd rather mmmmfff...." Mike slumped over unconscious as a chloroform-soaked kerchief pressed against his nose and mouth, covered by Ivan Ptushkin's hand. At the noise the third man in the room turned, still uncomprehending of the situation.

"Hoi! What're you doi--"

Ptushkin shot him with the silenced pistol between the eyes. He died instantly. He strode over to the dead man's body and pushed it out of the chair, then turned his attention to the computer. It was the work of a moment to access the dead man's e-mail account, to which he was already logged in -- as mentioned, it was a pretty slow night and he was likely wasting time on the Internet -- and he quickly composed a message consisting only of a string of numbers, and sent it off to Comrade Haglol, his Murran counterpart.

As he sent the message, he heard a footstep beside him. Too late did he turn his head; Mike had caught up a piece of heavy equipment and brought it down on the side of Ptushkin's visage. Ptushkin was only stunned for a moment. He shot Mike twice, then overturned some equipment -- including the computer -- for good measure and smashed in a window with a chair. Leaving the bodies where they had fallen and taking a moment to replace his spent ammunition and discard the silencer (being careful to avoid leaving fingerprints), Ptushkin then ran headlong downstairs.

The security guards were already arming up when Ptushkin burst in, the injury on the side of his face already dripping with blood, and began to berate them. "Fools! Incompetents! Are you blind as bats?!"

"What happened, what is going on?" one of them asked him, incredulous.

"It was the Communist militants! You call yourselves security guards? They simply walked into our airfield and you did not even stop them?"

"How many Communists?" They were following Ptushkin upstairs now, towards the control room.

"Three or four perhaps, carrying silenced pistols. They shot LaGuardia and Haldon when they wouldn't comply with their demands... and they inflicted this wound on me." He indicated the cut on the side of his face. "I was unconscious for a moment, but when I awoke I heard the glass breaking. They must have gone out through the window!"

"Don't be foolish," a soldier cautioned. "The window is twenty feet up. They could injure themselves jumping from that height."

"Perhaps they had outside help," Ptushkin said. "They smashed up this room, and for no good reason but to cripple this airfield?"

"No, for a much better reason than that." One of the guards had picked up the computer. Rippling into view on its shattered screen came the "Message sent" icon of an e-mail account. Then the computer died.

-----------------------

Within an hour the place was crawling with soldiers. From the control tower Ptushkin could see their searchlights and hear their loudspeakers; he watched as they scoured the fringes of the woods for footprints or searched for traces of cars leaving the area. Few cars and vehicles passed through this particular airport, but there were enough that had gone through in the last few hours of which the traces would remain.

Ptushkin had confirmed and expanded upon his story, remaining as consistent as possible. One of the requirements for being a KGB agent was to be a very good actor, and Ptushkin was a consummate; he displayed primarily outrage at the deaths of his comrades and the failure of the soldiers downstairs to do their jobs. (At one point he was heard to mutter that if he got his hands on any of those Communists....!) He was equally outraged at the suggestion that the third dead man, whose computer had been used to send the incriminating e-mail, was in league with the enemy; he had, he stated, known Jim all of the five years he'd served in the air force and Jim was no commie.

And so it went. The computer itself was unsalvageable; but the e-mail itself was retrieved from military internet satellites, which recorded it amongst the various internet transactions completed at approximately the suspected time. The message was a string of 60 apparently random numerals. Running it through text decoders produced gibberish; there were simply too many possibilities in numerical encoding; in short, decryption looked like it was going nowhere fast until someone had the bright idea of taking every other numeral. The first few tries were unproductive, but taking every fifth numeral yielded a series of twelve digits, which the same someone suggested to be of great geographical significance.

A set of co-ordinates.

Greal authorities plugged the co-ordinates into the Greal version of Google Earth (or TopoZone, or MapQuest). And waited. Gradually, on the large computer, the image started to unfold. First the "You are here" marker in the middle of a blank screen. Then, around it, a map of Greal. The individual in charge of the proceedings zoomed in, and in again; the co-ordinates were located in the far northwest of the nation, on a flat uninteresting stretch of open road somewhere between two small towns. The nearest military base was perhaps fifteen miles away.

What happened now was up to the authorities.

Cpo. Green twirled his fingers in a circle, immediatly the marines gathered around as close as they could while remaining in cover. "I need fifteen of you to go in with the Greal soldiers, the rest of you, dig in, we got something going on down the road." Fifteen marines plus a medic dashed inside the musuem with the Greal soldiers, the rest started to drag whatever they could to form barricades and stronger cover.

Gunfire erupted outside, a Greal troops was hit in the shoulder, Captain Justin dragged him from the shooting, he took out a grenade and threw it outside the street. Greal troops went to the 2nd floor so they could pick ioff the communists.

"All right boys, SNAFU style!" Shouted CPO. Green. All at once the marines rose from cover and emptied every single round in the magazine, threw all the grenades, switched to their side arms and fired. Neddless to say, the barrage of rounds forced the communists to retreat back away from fire, and causualties were light, only one soldier was severly injured, the rest had grazes or fragments of rounds. Green's radio flared to life. "I see you've got yourself a firefight, let me help out." A F-35 VTOL fighter switched to hover mode and slowly inched towards the street, unleashing a storm of rounds from its gattling gun and a singile missle into the fray of communists. Bodys flew as the assault continued, before the pilot switched back into regular flight mode and roared out of range of small arms and RPG fire. "Ospreys on there way Chief, barley five minutes behind me."

A RPG blasted a hole on the other side of the museum, 15 communists charged in, Greal troops quickliy ducked behind the walls, and began firing their assault rifles.

Captain Justin tossed a grenade down the hall, and the grenade exploded killing some of the communists. Then another Greal platoon arrived and drove off the communists, th natural history artfiacts were removed the other day, so nothing important was damaged.

The communists realizied that they have begun to lose this rebellion, many began to surrender in large numbers, while other communists vow to fight to the last man. The Greal army surrounded the communist group with tanks and infranty, a loudspeaker said"Surrender or Die."

Many of the Communists were cowed by the sheer might of the Greal soldiers and their dozens of allies. A procession of men and women, clad in red in some form or fashion, began to solemnly march towards the Greal lines, hands raised in the air. Others, however, knew that an idea could never be countered by numbers. Amidst the throngs of prisoners being taken by the troops, the basso crump of explosions tore through a number of defensive lines. Soldiers and protestors alike were immolated as bombs, likely hidden under coats and jackets, detonated in the name of great Lenin.

Soldiers in the rear of the lines, horrified and confused, began to fire on the survivors lest they be hiding more explosives. The Communists, at one point charging headlong into the capitalists troops, were now fleeing in terror, knowing now that any missions now would be of pure extermination. Tanks rolled over the slain, and helicopters that were once spotters were now designated hunter-killers, with artillery firing now for vengeance rather than victory.

Some of the rebels weren't so timid. Some of them took advantage of the confusion caused by the deaths of their honoured brethren, and repositioned sniper nests, set up booby traps, and scavenged ammo from the departed. If the capitalist dogs were going make them sink to such depths, they thought, they would teach them how much of a mistake that was.

Four Osprey VTOLs hovered over the musuem, providing fire support while marines rappelled down to the court yard before rushing to take cover. Seconds later, twenty three Ospreys roared over, headed for the central courtyard and other areas of fighting. In the distance, church bells rang, either signifying that the Greal sodiers had taken back that section f the city, or the last breaths of the communist rallying cry. Within an hour, forty more Ospreys had arrived, each carrying twenty or so marines, most dropping there troops without incident. The batte appeared to be near its ending stages, at least for now.

15 Mokan Ambulance Iron hearts were tending to the wounded engineers and civilans. Trucks were bringing in more medical supplies and doctors, escorted by IFVs of course, The majority of the division was assigned to securing cleared ares and distribution of medical supplies. Most of the fighting seemed to be over, but Mokan troops had still set up road block and other barricades, in case another assault would occur. No mokan flags were hung, and many Ironhearts were given removable stickers to put over the red stars on the sides so that the APCs wouldn't look mokan at first. They hoped their presence wouldn't rally more troops to the communist cause,so all precautions were being taken to avoid looking to much like Mokan forces.

The Greal; troops continued to fire into the crowd, killing most of the communists in large numbers. Fighters flew over firing their Megalook cannons at the communists. Greal troops who panicked were soon replaced by better Greal troops. Greal tanks fired round after round into the communists.

The communists prepared to make their last stand.

CPO. Green surveyed the devestation from a pile of rubble and shrapnel that might once have been an advertising billboard. "Shit.." He muttered to himself. He raised his bonoculars to his eyes and surveyed the mass slaughter, no doubt about it, the communists were being routed, however, close to the slaughter, a fresh wave of rebels clad in red were accepting handouts from large crates, and the handouts looked alot like Ak-47s and RPGs...

The communists were wiped out completely. The rest of them surrendered, the battle was over, but the communists might start another battle with their new weapons. Greal trucks arrived and took all the dead bodies away for burial. Greal troops patrolled the city during the night. Checkpoints were everywhere.

past the museum three trucks with medical supplies were driving in a Convoy, leading was two IFVs with an Ambulance APC behind it. This area wasnt completely cleared but these medical supplies were needed ASAP across the city, and damn if they weren't going to get there. Behind the convoy two APC filled with Mokan Infantry covered the rear along with one Mortar IronHeart. A lone Apache flew ahead scanning for heat signatures, hoping none were an ambush...

IC:

The mines exploded under the first IFV, wrecking the track and while not damaging it too bad The IFVs man concern was the defense of the medical trucks.

"Shit we got mines! I want this convoy out of here now!"

The Apache swooped in low to protect the convoy, as one IFV turned another corner and lead the convoy down another road. To Protect the down IFV the Apache stayed and one APC stopped. Both the IFV and APC dropped troops to find the rest of the mines and set up defenses around the IFV until engineers could arrive.

The IronHeart's WATCHKEEPER defenses picked up the RPGs and fired upon them...(i assuming three or four) shooting down two RPGs before they could make there mark, The apache immediately shot up and one RPG missed completely, the last caught the tail end and soon the apache was going back down...

The 20 soldiers on the ground ran away from the crash site while the APC and IFV both opened fire on the building with 7.62mm rounds and the IFV's KWF PAK2 25mm automatic cannon with high explosive rounds...soon the 20 soldiers who were about to clear mines found cover and fired unto the building as well with more 7.62mm by 54mm rounds. Many looked around hoping for either reinforcements or at least not seeing enemy troops

five APCs and two IFVs raced from a checkpoint to the battle scene, hoping to get in on the action and save the men, along with a truck for the engineers and the supplies to field repair the IFV

"This is Convoy 225, we are under attack, main supplies sent on alternate route, now called 225A, we are under attack. apache down and need back up over!"

The medical supplies were still racing to the other side of the city, they were almost in the clear, just a few more miles....

The lead Ironhearts WATCHKEEPER systems shot at the flying RPG blowing it up before it could strike any important vehicles, unfortunately the blast had launched shrapnel and other debris around which caught a few soldiers hiding. Soon the reinforcement had unloaded from the APCs and Using them as cover, the Soldiers began Firing on buildings with Communist fighters in them. Grenades were tossed in windows and doors were blown in.

"Go Go Go!!!"

Troops poured in to try and sweep them out...they were trying to minimize damage to infrastructure but in a battle such as this that was impossible. The Ironhearts kept their guns up, ready to fill any buildings with lead if they so much as hinted a commie hiding in there. Numerous Ospreys were flying around along with Greal Fighters....What was going on in the museum was unkown to the troops, so 12 men were sent in see what was going on on block over...

The Greal company there ducked behind a war when a RPG tore open the door, black masked men charged in. Captain Belor fired from his position upstairs. While the Greal troops retreated to the second floor, the black masked men followed them, taking shots at them while they went up the stairs.
