There is no minimum wage in Vetalia, but given the sheer strength of the economy and an extremely low unemployment rate, the lowest wage is around 6 rubles per hour (or a little over $12). Median income in Vetalia is around $93,000.

You get paid what you earn based on skill and productivity.
Murra

Murra has no wages. You work and the government provides you with food, housing, and clothing. (Most of the nation is based in a lot of huge megacities, so nobody really needs to travel that far. If they do need to travel, they use public transportation -- monorails, buses, and cars within cities; trains and airplanes between them.) For every year that you keep a steady job, your 'disposable' income is increased by four thousand dinars (about $925), from a starting disposable income of ∂20,000. In government jobs the disposable income increases by six thousand dinars a year.

The 'disposable' income is commonly used to purchase commodities not provided by the government -- 'better' clothing and furniture, cars, pets, televisions -- but is also used to buy things on the black market, such as laptop computers, underground newspapers, illegal drugs (ranging from coffee to cigarettes to marijuana), et cetera. The government turns a blind eye to this, as nothing particularly threatening to its power is accessible through the black market anyway, and it serves only as a way of making people feel better.

Well, this would require a central government to exist, wouldn't it? Every nation in the association of free nations of Rejistania handles the situation differently.
Taerkasten

The Fair Employment Proclamation was brought into effect in Taerkasten in 1958 by King Henry VI amid some harsh criticism, and gave the government the power to set a nationwide minimum wage which would be reviewed on an annual basis by the Royal Bank. Opponents pointed out that some of the measures contained within the royal proclamation, including the minimum wage clause, could have been potentially detrimental to competitiveness and worker motivation, as well as driving smaller companies out of business. Regardless, the proclamation was passed and the minimum wage was brought into effect the following year, which caused some serious shifts in payment schemes. Under the terms of the proclamation, only individuals over the age of 18, who are not in full-time education, are entitled to a minimum wage, and additionally, certain professions (mainly apprenticeships and paid training courses) are exempt from the requirement. Employers who fail to ensure that all of their eligible employees are afforded a minimum wage may face heft fines.

At present, the minimum wage in Taerkasten sits at the equivalent of $8.73 per hour, down from $8.78 in the previous year. This figure is reviewed annually at the end of every tax year in February.
Lauderdalia

No minimum wage in Lauderdalia. The only major economic laws in effect here are there to prevent corporate monopolies, and policies to prevent economic collapse in the event of a disaster (stock market crash, natural disaster, terrorist/nuclear attack, etc.)

Fewer economic laws/policies also make the value of the Lauderdalian Standard Dollar (LSD) more steady.

In Arab-Canada you have to pay the government to work. In Arab-Canada it is an honor to work for the government.

The minimum wage in Sumer is assessed bi-annually every year. It generally hovers at around $10.00 an hour though.

Like much of Charrian society, employment ethics are left to the discretion of employers themselves. As Charr, they are trusted to act with honour and give their workers fair remuneration without needing to be strong-armed into it by an interfering government - to do otherwise would be considered 'theft' according to their honour code, and no company wishes to be branded as dishonourable. Generally speaking they are able to maintain fair wages, and a competitive labour market and powerful economy have afforded even the lowest-paid jobs with a decent salary.
