It had been over fourty years since Zanski had invaded, annexed, and subsequently been driven out of Chitzeland by Dephire, Black Hand of Nod, Pudu and Parthia, along with 1.1 million Zanski-supporting Chitzes. Since then, a Chitze Nationalist, Military and Repoductory programme had been put in place, turning 1.1 million peasants into 97 million fierce soldiers. but only ten million were eligible for fighting, and they had one driving force for their military brutality - in 1971, Zanski had, with many pleas from the Zansk Chitze populace, created a Government-in-exile, with promises to create a free, democratic state protected by Zanski in the Chitze peninsula.
But Zanski had insisted that the claim was by the G.I.E and not by Zanski itself. However, the president of the claimed South Chitzeland Republic, Gunther Kerma, had asked General Hagan of Zanski to renew his claim on the "occupied" cities of Bearmish and Yrttal, which were the first cities to be evacuated. Bearmish was destroyed, but boasts a new population.
Zanski had rightfully, with permission of the populace, established the puppet republic of Zansk Republic of South Chitzeland, run by concensus. After it was forced out by the Parthians, it was forced to invade northwest chitzeland and annex it as the Zansk North West Chitzeland Territories, and 1.1 million Chitzes populated the previously unpopulated marshland. It was forced out by the scheming combined force of Pudu and Dephire along with all the Zanski-loyal Chitzes.
