Message from His Grand Ducal Highness Gawain I Morris to the Peoples of the World:

Salutations,

I wish you all good tidings on behalf of the people of Roseberg. I have only recently been lifted to my present post following the death of my father, Grand Duke James I Morris, a great individual who helped found this nation. He was an able ruler and a good man and he will live on eternally in the hearts of his subjects.

It is my wish to begin my reign on as positive a note as possible, and therefore I extend to my country’s neighbors a proposal. If yours is a freedom-loving, democratic nation which is dedicated to personal freedom and liberty, then we invite you to dispatch an embassy to make contact with us in our capital of Morristown.

Be so kind as to submit all replies, queries and so forth to the office of Governor-General Ulysses Rexford and he will assist with the necessary arrangements if you desire an embassy.

Respectfully,
His Grand Ducal Highness Gawain I Morris of Roseberg
Sovereign of Roseberg

Greetings Governor-General,

It has come to the attention of the Houses of Lords and Commons that your nation desires "freedom-loving" nations to establish embassies within your capital.

Following our recent reorganization into a constitutional monarchy, we believe that the nation of Tremarendakia fits the requirements established by your communique, and so I have been asked to deliver our message of intent to establish an embassy within your nation on behalf of my government.

I await your reply eagerly,
Lord Robert Bud

Re: Embassy Establishment

Greetings Lord Robert,

It pleases me that a nation has replied so quickly to my nation's proposal. We had expected a fairly long wait.

Please forward the intended Ambassador's credentials, as well as how many people you wish to send with the Embassy for approval, and I shall respond in the shortest possible time.

Respectfully,
Governor-General Ulysses Rexford of the Grand Duchy of Roseberg

Governor-General Rexford,

I am sure that our intended ambassador to your nation, Mr. John Starkton, and his family will be perfectly fit for their prospective assignment. Mr. Starkton is a personal friend of my own, and has my own recommendation. He graduated top of his collegiate class at Dwelmant Ah Tyran University with a double major in Political Science and Foreign Relations. He shows an outstanding aptitude for judgment when not only one, but two nation's are involved. He served King Rudo I in the overthrowing of the tribal regime, and has shown nothing but loyalty since.

Accompanying the ambassador would be his wife Margaret and their four year old daughter Clarice, as well as a diplomatic staff of anywhere from 9 to 12 aides. Tremarendakian law requires a small temporary military presence to protect the diplomats, although this would only comprise a team of 6 Diplomatic Defense Corps officers, who may be removed after one year's time if your country is deemed a safe location for such an action.

In return, I ask if you desire an embassy in Dwelmant Ah Celestin?

Re: Embassy Staffing

Lord Robert,

Having reviewed Mr. Starkton's credentials, it is my decision that we should have no problems with him serving as Ambassador, and the people you have mentioned who will be accompanying him are acceptable as well. We do not have any problems with the security force.

Regarding the question of my government desiring an Embassy in Dwelmant Ah Celestin, that would be a good idea. I would like to send Richard Mcclellan if possible. Mr. Mcclellan is an experienced diplomat who has served the current Grand Duke loyally since his reign began, and his father's before that.

In addition to Mr. Mcclellan, there is his wife, Maureen, and his son, Robert. He has a staff, composed of 10-15 persons, and we would ask to dispatch an Embassy Security Force of no more than sixteen people.

Respectfully,

Governor-General Rexford,

I look forward to informing the King of our successful diplomatic exchange here. Your nation will do quite well on the international stage, I believe, and I wish you the best of luck as a friend. Ambassador Starkton will depart with his accompanying group immediately, and Tremarendakia looks forward to a bright future with Roseberg.

Re: Embassy Exchange

Lord Robert,

I thank you for the kind words, and will inform Grand Duke Gawain of this successful contact at once. Mr. Mcclellan and his group have departed and barring any mishap, they should arrive soon. Mr. Starkton and his group will be received at the capital by a suitable delegation.

Unfortunately, the Grand Duke will not be able to meet them himself, as he is involved in some pressing personal business, but his daughter, Commander Darlene Morris has agreed to head the welcoming party instead.

Respectfully,
Governor-General Ulysses Rexford of the Grand Duchy of Roseberg
