Church-Hill, Federal District, Statistia (International Press) - The Secretary General of the Institutional Statist Party of Statistia, Rudolph Delano Clinton announced today that his nation is declaring a War on Freedom. "Freedom is a dangerous idea that weakens the people and deprives nations of their best leaders. It prevents the people from sacrificing themselves for the good of the Spectacular State," declared Secretary General Clinton. Secretary General Clinton also added that "Peace is sought through War."

Needless to say, the Libertarian Revolutionary Alliance was outraged. Under condition of anonymity, a senior official at the LRA stated, "This is yet another example of the Statists in power in this country oppressing the people. They continue to interfere with their just rights to private property. However, someday soon, the people will rise up and overthrow their government and implement Anarcho-Capitalism."

Meanwhile, the head of the only legal opposition party, the Communist Party of Statista, Joseph Marx-Lenin, stated "While I agree with the leader that Freedom needs to be extinguished, he doesn't go far enough. We think the esteemed leader should hang anybody who believes in the bourgeois idea of freedom."

Statistia is a UN member nation. The IP tried to reach a spokesperson of the UN for comment, but nobody was available.
