Aschenhyrst Defense Industries,LTD annouces trial production of new military rifle

Aschenhyrst armed forces to begin field trials on the new MASADA-Adaptive Combat Weapon System. If the design is approved, re-arming of Aschenhyrst armed forces to begin within one year.

Designers hope this new system can replace several of the Dominions older weapons designs and streamline production efforts. Trials expected to last three months, no information at this time about exportation status. Domestic production rights will not be offered for sale at this time. Estimated cost per rifle is $1400.00 Crown Dollars (USD) each.

Field trials completed, Aschenhyrst Armed Forces adopt MASADA as new primary infantry weapon. Production to begin within days, contract work to follow. There will be no DPR agreements for the time being. Full production capacity expected by years end. Spec-Op`s units will be the first to be issued the Dominions newest weapon.

Our Republic wishes to purchase 1000 units for testing.

OOC: Considering it's a real gun, why would ANYONE consider DPRs, let alone buying it?

OOC: Technically, its only in the development stages. I`m only running this thread to provide validity of re-equiping my armed forces with a new weapon. At least its not as lame as some of the made-up NS stuff. I Rp with MT/PMT weaponry of U.S. design, this clearly falls within that catagory. As for Domestic Production Rights and buying end product, whoever wants to may. Its their choice.
