On several news stations around the world, a news story, reporting a brand new spin on reality shows. War, or at least realistic excercises. Ryan Mann, CEO of corporate powerhouse Kindcorp is staging a show for the entire planet. Our sources have confirmed the show will take place on a small island in the southern Pacific Ocean. He is personally inviting any nation interested in the chance to show off thier military's might, in a contest that is predicted to be bigger than the superbowl, world series, world cup, and survivor combined. With so many viewers, we are sure the costs of advertising will be astronomical. The contest will be between 4 countries, in a capture the flag type of game. The rest of the details have not been confirmed. Supposedly confidential, and meant for military and heads of state.

Ryan flipped through the various news channels, watching his money go to work. A good investment he mused. Everything was falling into place, he had recieved the 1,000 men he would need from his country's government through bribes, threats, and cashing in on favors. He had purchased enough military equipment from around the world through black market trade and carefully financed terrorism/robberies. The island (Il'Vec II) had been equipped with more cameras and sound equipment than Hollywood. Billions of dollars had been spent. He just needed the contestants. Then the money would be come...a lot of money.

(OOC: This could be very awesome, rp it up and ill give you some more details. lol, i think they deleted my last post. More later this evening folks)

To Ryan,

You have caught my attention with your invitation. I am interested but require a few more specifics. A. wil it be a live fire exercise(the kind with real bullets and real casualties) or electronic training exercise (the kind with the lasers and the computers)? 2nd will there be like a central command that is off limits to the guys with the guns, lik wat the central command headquarters in your capital is, you know a place where the generals can make all the decisions, and look at satqllite pictures, with out actually being in any real danger. And D. Will there be a place where the leaders can get together and like bet on the battles and watch it all unfold live on multiple screens, preferably with alcahol, food, confy chairs, someone to figure odds, cigars, etc. I do believe my nation will be able to take part in these "exercises" wink, wink.

My Dear Edwardo Listless,

Of course this will be a live-fire excercise. But, this must be very confidential. If they were to find out we were actually playing with the lives of our very own soldiers for a profit...There could be some...complications. It must look real. Otherwise the public wouldn't be as interested. All the generals will be posted in a yacht offshore, very comfortable. The betting and odds will be posted after we get all of our 'contestants'. That is one of the main reasons I started this little idea. If you would like to join, this could be a very lucrative situation for all involved.

Have a nice day,

To Ryan Mann,

Wouldn't it be better if the generals could set up they're own command centers on a nearby island with they're own equipment, and us, the nations leaders could use the yacht to watch? I don't know how well you can command your troops from a yacht with the other generals around, right?

(OOC: lol)

Edwardo,

I see your point. The fact is, since this will be live fire, the generals' saftey is under my consideration. A stray bullet, mortar, or rpg could very well take a priceless asset from your country's military. If you feel that you are willing to risk it than that is fine. Kindcorp takes no liability in situations like this...Sorta like, you break, you buy.

Sincerly,

To Ryan Mann,

What are the requirements to be a "contestant" on your little "game show?" Also what will the "prize" be for winning your little "game show?"
