Yamada Katō sat in his house, a huge castle-like structure spanning a fraction of a mile. His handmadians and servants had been dissmissed, and now he sat, watching out the open door at the land falling under the long shadows of dusk. "My people should arrive soon." he murmered to himself as he watched two guards pace the battlements, spears held high.
OOC: Sorry for the crappy intro, but I'm in a rush. I won't be able to log on again until Sunday, so have fun but don't do anything too serious. Cheers.

Ichigo and Rukia sat in a small tavern, drinking sake.
"I don't know why you work for the bastard." Ichigo muttered, referring to Katō.
"How else am I suppose to provide for both of us?" Rukia said.
"I provide for us!"
"Only during war." Rukia smiled wistfully. "You know I wouldn't do this if I had a choice."
Ichigo grunted.
"I'd best be going." Rukia said, getting up to leave. "I'll see you."

Rose was in a hotspring washing when a shadow was cast over her from behind her
"oh Blade it's you"she said as when she turns to see who it was
"finish up we got to get moving"said Blade as he looks at Rose naked with long beautiful black hair to her waist

The twilight, withthe moon rising as a gleaming gold coin beyond the trees, was perfect and the soft sound of Nightjar, and bat, cricket and a faraway flute but enhanced the serenity that Tiara no Gaiate felt enfold him. He waved a way a refil of plum wine that his newest concubine, Myoko, offered him. Dinner would be soon, his hatamotos attending and he did not want his senses dulled. Myoko's delicate fresia perfume suited her and he made a mental note to make sure that she would always have a supply of it. "Thank you no Myoko-chan, I have enough, but tell me how progresses your kyoto lessons?"

She blushed prettily and shyly admitted she not only enjoyed learning the difficult instrument, but had earned her tutors praise.

"Sood, then, please, would you play for me tonight before we retire?" In typical Japanese fashion he let her know that he wished her to grace his futons this night. Tiara no Gaiate was an exceptionally polite man, even to women and servants, not the norm among the newly growing powerful Sanurai. The Minamoto, known as 'the men of the west'- while they might be known for their extreme prowess as warriors, were also considered uncouth, uncultured and little better than barbarians.

Taira no Gaiate had been raised at the Imperial court where courtesy was as natural as breathing, and under the strict tutleage of his formidible father had breathed the Way of the Warrior - the stern code of a Bushi- from birth his mother having died but days after that momentous event.

He sighed peacefully and stood taking his tachi in hand. He would have just enough time for his maids and attendants to chage his kimonos before his guests arrived. He had chosen to stay at [urlhttp://travel.3yen.com/wp-content/images/matsue1.jpg]this small castle[url] set along the shores of a placid lake, as it was far more intimate and he had no need to be imposing to those who were soon to arrive. Though the massive walls that protected the castle were a distance away - the castle grounds covered over fifty chobu* -but the gardens were so well laid out that the walls, and the out buildings- stables, barracks, and servants quarters to name a few - could not seen from the castle itself.

*chobu= 2.5 acres (roughly)

"Where are you, Rukia?"
Katō muttered to himself. He sat on a grass mat, eating a late dinner, waiting for his payed assassin to arrive. He waved away his concubines and servants, restless but too polite to say anything aloud to anyone. Now he just waited. He could, and would, wait all night if he had to.

OOC: San & Sama is honoriffic for male or female - Never address a superior as San- always Sama - never address an inferior as Sama unless you have the status to elevate them to your level, then once the elevation is done and acknowledged you use San - and it is always Name -san or Name-sama...
In speaking in a family setting or around the very closest of intimates [U]chan[/U is term of endearment, between lovers or husband & wife/concubine or grandparents or minor children ( daughters can have it applied for longer than sons can- men got prickely in Japan at about age 13- which was considered the general age of 'treated mostly as an adult' - women retained the not- quite- an- adult status a couple of years longer, but certainly were often enough married off at about 13 )

His attendants swarming with quiet, graceful efficiency about him, his hair was brushed, then lightly perfumed, and tied back in a simple quey at the nape of his neck. The shaved head and topknot would not even be thought of for a couple of more centuries. And while Buddhism was beginning to spread strongly the island nation, the vegetarianism associated with it- much less what would become Nichiren Buddhism - wasn't.

His chef was preparing a loin of stag and spiced vegetables - he could smell the mouthwatering cooking odors- that Taira no Gaiate had brought down the evening of the day before. He prefered hunting when the lighting was difficult as it honed and tested his skills and metle. Stags could be quite dangerous, especially as he hunted them afoot.

Once his kimonos had been changed to one that reflected the relaxed mood of the evening ahead, he strode to his reception room, intent on relaxing with a favored scroll untill his guests arrive. His Tachi, which never left his presence he set in a formal holder, which held it upright. The unseen fluteist began to play again, letting the somber but sweet melody tell the those of the castle of the gentle melancholy that was felt as the sun fell from the sky and the peaceful joy that came when the serene moon arose.

Quietly as he read a servant opened the shoji walls so the night air could bring the pleasant scents from the garden and made sure that the water flask at his master's elbow was filled with fresh water. Gaiate paid no attention to the servants quiter rustlings over the tatami mats- it was considered impolite to pay attention to a servants doing, it might cause them to become clumsey and thus embarras themselves - however Gaiate did not fail to offer a soft, if absent minded "domo'. "Rukia Kurosaki, miko for Lord Katō. He is expecting me." She awaited an answer from the guard.

Kaita stood on a small hill not far from the Shogun's castle, scouting out the terrain and guards of the area. He and his small band of elite ronin were planning to join the coming war against Taira no Gaiate who had burned his family's lands to the ground. He had sworn vengence on that day and would now be given the chance to fufill that promise to his ancestors.

The guard, dressed in red and black samurai armor, studied Rukia. Finally he nodded. "Proceed." At the entrance a servant waited, he led Rukia to Katō's room.
Hilltop, several miles away...
A spy watched the small band of disgraced warriors wit interest.

Rukia nodded to the guard, then followed the servant until they reached the Shogun's room. She bowed, and said "Katō-sama."

As Kaita watched the castle he gave a small smile as something dropped quite close to him "Riri-san" was all he said to cloaked figure

"What do you request Master?"

"There is somebody spying on us while we are spying. Please stop him from doing so"

There was another gust of wind as she disappeared leaving the smiling Ronin alone with his two dozen men again.

Rukia nodded to the guard, then followed the servant until they reached the Shogun's room. She bowed, and said "Katō-sama."
Katō stood and bowed back. "Rukia-San. So glad you could join me. Please, sit down and eat." He gave no visable motion, yet several servants walked into the room, bearing food and drink. Katō sat and waited for his guest to begin eating before he did. "How be you?"

Rose looks at Blade after hearing the two man talk

"Black Lotus are roaming group of Bandits thats been going up and down Japan for the last month now killing, raping and inslaving"he said before sipping his tea

Rose nods her head and drinks her tea in silence

"I'm well, thank you." She picked up a small slice of bread and began to chew it. "I've heard of some bandit trouble around here."
"Yes. This is percisely what I have called you for. A group of elite Ronin, under the command of one Kaita, has been disrupting my shipping and harrassing my troops. I want you to find this so-called Kaita and assassinate him. Without their leader the ronin will disperse, making them easy to individually hunt down and kill. I am willing to pay 5,000 yen for the assassination."

"It will be done. My brother may be able to help with that aspect. He has talked of you recently." She suddenly became very interested in her cup of tea.

"I'm sure that he has. Your brother has much to learn of the art of...politeness. Do it as soon as you possibly can."

Blade puts his cup down and looks over at Rose as she finish off her tea before looking at him with a smile

"what are you thinking"she asks studies his face
"just the old days back in the legion and the war"said Blade as he pours one more cup of tea

"you feeling ok"Rose now asked
"i'll hold"said Blade as he picks up his cup and puts it to his mouth

A man, a lowly merchant, steps over to the table where Blade and Rose are sitting. He beckons to them. "You are mercenaries, no? I have an offer."

Kaita smiled as his stealthy Ninja appeared back by his side. He had not desired her to kill him, just scare him off. The last thing he needed was to annoy the very lord he was going to rely on to get his wealth back.

"Ronin! Move out!" he and his little group began to move down the hill towards the castle.

One of the unnoticed servants that moved with more or less purpose trough any large household noted the arrival and announcement of the woman with more than the usual interest. Shortly when he went home for the night, he would pass a cryptic comment along to a porter whom he would accidentally met outside a noodlehouse. The information that a miko, one Rukia Kurosaki, had arrived and had audience with Lord Katō would do his true mster much good. Spies were a common and expected part of a household. Even though the Code** that would become that of the Bushi was still evolving, the Game of Power was older still

Taira no Gaiate sat with his hatamotos, enjoying a fine meal but drinking sparingly of the Saki that came afterwards. They all knew they needed clear heads for the discussions to come. War was brewing and none of those whos'e family lines were 'imperial' enough had as of yet procured the backing of the Emperor. Though with Gaiate's connections at court he had an enviable headstart on the other with power enough to make the Emperor favor them. The harvest had been excellent this year and every ones coffers were full. And such providence brought the time of battles ever closer.

**There is evidence of Bushidō in early literature to suggest that the stylings of Bushidō have existed in the Japanese literature from the earliest recorded literary history of Japan. Kojiki is Japan's oldest extant book. Written in AD 712,it contains passages about Yamato Takeru, the son of the Emperor Keiko. It provides an early indication of the values and literary self-image of the bushido ideal, including references to the use and admiration of the sword by Japanese warriors. Yamato Takeru may be considered the rough ideal of the Japanese warrior to come. He is sincere and loyal, slicing up his father's enemies "like melons," unbending and yet not unfeeling, as can be seen in his laments for lost wives and homeland, and in his willingness to combat the enemy alone. Most important, his portrayal in the Kojiki shows that the ideal of harmonizing the literary with the martial may have been an early trait of Japanese civilization, appealing to the Japanese long before its introduction from Confucian China.

This early conceptualising of a Japanese self-image of the "ideal warrior" can further be found in the Shoku Nihongi, an early history of Japan written in the year 797. A section of the book covering the year AD 721 is notable for an early use of the term 武士 (unknown reading due to kanbun style; now read as bushi) in Japanese literature and a reference to the educated warrior-poet ideal. The term bushi entered the Japanese vocabulary with the general introduction of Chinese literature and added to the indigenous words, tsuwamono and mononofu.

In Kokin Wakashū (early 10th century), the first imperial anthology of poems, there is an early reference to Saburau — originally a verb meaning "to wait upon or accompany a person in the upper ranks of society." In Japanese, the pronunciation would become saburai. By the end of the 12th century, saburai, an old word for samurai, became synonymous with bushi almost entirely and the word was closely associated with the middle and upper echelons of the warrior class.

Ichigo stood, leaning against a tree, waiting for Rukia. He saw a group of armed men heading now towards the castle. He straighted out and observed. This would be interesting.

At the tavern where Rukia and Ichigo had been drinking sake that day, Itachi was speacking with the barman:
"...Im looking for two people, i belive they where in here earlyer, perhaps you know them? Rukia and Ichigo they are called. Please, it is of great importance that i find them."
"I think they went to Lord Kato's castle some time ago today" the bartender replyed. Itachi thanked the bartender, gave him a few yen for his trubbles and then departed for the castle.

IC: Rukia and Ichigo met at the tree out side the castle, watching the armed people advance, unbenown to them that they where being observed by itachi.

" Rukia and Ichigo, long time no see" he whipered in their ears

"That it is." Rukia laughed, surprised at Itachi's appearance.

"looking for you, these past 2 years as it happens, i recived word from my father in china, mother died, an acident at the port when one of the ships carying an experimental weopen using firework filling fired by acident, i think they called it a cannon, it'll never catch on.

Taira no Gaiate and his generals had talked long into the night but he was up by dawn as was his custom. He spent the better part of the morning practising as ever in perfecting his riding and archery, then when his muscles were loose and just a little tired he sparred with his men, making sure that all of them met his standards or exceeded them.

By the time he broke for a light miday meal of dried seaweed, pickled vegatbles, smoked fish and rice;the message reached him concerning the unusual visitor that Yamada Katð had entertained the previous evening. Gaiate dismissed the exhausted runner- but the last of a long line of specially trained runners - and tossed him a favor marker and told him to rest and feed well. The mans family would be provided for for another year.

Gaiate ate his meal slowly savoring every bit, and contemplating the near perfection of the garden withput a single thought on the information he had just recieved. He would not let such a concern mar his enjoyment of the meal or his rest. Once he had eaten he would meditate on the various possibilities of such actions then he would decide but until then, the day would be for other concerns. He needed a bride and tha was of more import than a miko in the night.

OOC: I just had to do a bit of a play on words there. I do adore Clavell' Shogun

OOC no later 12th century ships in the west started to be seen with guns,
11th century they were using long bows ,cross bows and swords to fight on ships
11th century warship (same had small fortified platform for archers at each end)

Jade concubine to Blade Spartan sit at home reading a book when Rose Hawk flys in and land on it's stand

Heian kyō house by the river four days later

Blade sits cross legged looking out on to the river as the sun rise with his Sword in lap cleaning it as Rose and Jade slept peacefully in one another arms
"so "Blade said to himself as he thinks on the Escort job that the East Empire Company was asking if he and the girls would do for them

Rose's Hawk flaps it wings as it turns to warm it's back in the sun light as it rest on it's stand

"moring Scar"said Blade to the Hawk on hearing it moving as he gets up to feed it with some fish that he catch that morning

Taira no Gaiate was still contemplating the various aspects of a marriage proposal. Several advantageous matches could be made, including a not too overly bold seeking of one of the Emperor's lesser daughters. He himself was distantly related to the Imperial bloodline- There were only three semi regal bloodlines that could aspire to the title Sho-gun, and his was one. Marriage to the proper lady would enhance his claim. And while the Emperor had little 'real' power he had ALL the power. But Gaiate had a powerfull ally - his fther who wsa very close to the emperor.

"I think a fillial visit to my father is in order!" He exclaimed softly and clapping his hands, set his household about prepareing for just that!

Within hours he led an smart entourage of horsemen, his best samurai out the gate. His concubine and servants would follow, slower -and afoot or in palanquines. An out rider had sped ahead on a fast horse to make arrangements for the Taira's stay at various inns along the way. It was only a few days leisurely travel, but only the proper inns would do.

"good morning and how long have you been up"asked Jade as she and Rose get dress after awaken up from their sleep

"from five, did a bit of fishing to get a fish for Scar to eat and i just cooked up eggs and ham"said Blade as he reads the package that was given by Factor of East Empire Company

"thank you"said Rose then kissed him on the lips then sits at the table to eat
"mm this is nice"said Jade as she eats the food
"your welcame'said Blade as he seals the package up before getting up and placing it in a bag

"so whats the job" Rose said starting the question off " and when do we leave" said Jade ending it

"we have been hired to escort a engineer back from a town thats ten days out from Heian-kyō (Kyoto) and ten days back,so finish eat and start packing and change to armor we leave in two hour"said Blade as he packs his saddlebag then checks his bed roll

two hours later

Blade was next to his horse placing his saddlebags behind his saddle when Rose and Jade came out in the Armor* carrying they'er small round shields and saddlebags

"thank you for saddling up our horses and tying up our bed roll to the saddes as we changed"said Jade as she place her saddlebag behind her sabble
"no need to thank me "said Blade as he gets into his saddle than place his tower shield on his arm as the Rose and Jade saddle they'er horses as Scar circles above before landing on Rose arm as she calls him after she had settled in her saddle

The outrider had made excellent time - not only was he samurai in and of his own self, also he bore the standard of Taira no Gaiate. And no one in their sound mind would hinder one flying that standard.

Not only, as samurai, could the outrider slay, without hindrance, any commoner he chose, BUT to hinder the passage of the young, but acknowledged heir of the Taiura clan was to court disaster for your family, the village your family lived in, and if the offense was great enough the samurai who was your overlord. There were no samurai clans of greater stature than the Tairi...and only a very small handfull who were their equals.

The inn was one that the Taira had frequented before, and it had always met their requirements, and even kept remounts stabled there. A child in clean but common kimono's bowed deeply as the outrider threw his mounts reins to him. He didn't have to order a currying, grain and rest for his mount, such was a standard expectation. Rolling his muscles, stretching discretely as he straightened his travelling kimonos - attentive maids scurring out to the courtyard to offer him cool water and damp towels to refersh himself with - he nodded approvingly "Tell your master that Taira no Gaiate will arrive within two hours."

That sent every one in a flutter the arrival of such an important clan head meant that every thing must be perfect "Send to the Tea House" The inn's master told his wife "We will needd the highest ranked geisha to preform tonight"

"Aiii! That will cost a fortune" The wife cried, wringing her hands.

"And if we please him that will lane us the fortune back!" The husband scolded gently.

"so after this Job what next"asked Jade as the three ride

as Rose reads the letter inside the package the look on her face changed

that night next to he fire the girls sit next to one another talking as Blade cooked some salted fish and rice up for dinner

The troop with Taira no Gaiate at it's head thundered into the inn's courtyard two hours later, but to the innkeeps great good fortune everythi9ng was in ready. He, his wife and the senoir geisha from the teahouse bowed deeply and murmured their welcomes.

Properly trained, she was of the First Rank locally - though in one of the great cities she'd be Second Rank at best - the geisha took charge of the young noble and led him to the garden were he could rest from his ride for a second and refresh himself with fresh fruits. Then she would attend him in the bath and oversee his massage afterwards. The geisha had already ascertained that the clean, casual kimonos they would be offering Gaiate were of the proper quality and that the dinner that he would be served was being well prepared. Though she had little worry about that, as the inn's chef was more than adequate for the high station of the guest.

now dressed in short dresses and finished eating, Rose and Jade now seats and watch Blade who was sitting on other side fire drawing in the earth with a stick,it was clear to both by the look on his face that been summoned by the Emperor his uncle was playing on his mind

Gaiate partook of a simple but well cooked meal and sent his compliments to the inn's chef, whcih quite overwhelmed the poor man but delighted the inn keep and his wife to no end. The geisha's efforts too were rewarded with praise and a substancial amount given over the next morning by his concubine to the geisha's "mother". Though this wasn't the girls mother at all, but the woman who had bought her from her family and seen to her training. Geisha's, art peersons, spent decaded training and it was as rigorous as any samurai's.

Tairi no Gaiate departed late in the morning, so that those travelling afoot or by palanquine would not have to travel so fast this day. It would be the longest way distance wise, and even with he and his mounted retainers leaving late they would still arrive before the others.

IC: At the road side a scrawny man lay spread egled, an arrow sticking out of his neck. Hope slid down the emankment at the road side, pulled the arrow out and removed a ring from the mans finger before turning and joging down along the road heading to a small vilage, and her latest contracter.

Upon reaching the vilage she heard talk of the rivalry between the shoguns and decided there was an opertunity for great wealth and power here.
Steping into the house of her contracter, she threw the ring at him and said, in a calm yet terifying tone " my payment!"

Almost instantly three guards from the battlements were pointing crossbows at Hope, and another guard had come to the gate. "State your reason or leave now. If you do not leave, we will kill you."

Instead she joined me at my side when I fled, taking a group of loyal Samurai with me to assure my own protection. Since then we have lived rough, on the run from the Shogun's Armies. Not anymore"

At the end of a hall was a plain red wooden door, guarded by two Samurai in gray armor wielding blood-red katanas. They stared at Hope without experssion.

Kaita grinned,

"It is a tricky question, My Lord but one that is easily answered. In four years of war, never once did I question my Lord or doubt his wisdom. It was only his paranoia that persauded him to kill me for I never had anything but his wishes in my heart. But he had betrayed me!"

"He attacked my castle! He killed my guards! He killed my wife and daughter and hung their bodies outside like windchimes! he dragged my family's name through the dirt in order to satisfy his own goals!"

Normally she would simply throw shirukan at them, but even she wasnt that crazy, however, upon hearing a raised voice in the chamber beond, she reached for a shirukan and pepaired her self, alert to danger and ready to storm past the guards into the room should there be sounds of a fight.

The left guard shook his head. "He had granted an audience to someone else at the moment, please return later." The other guard's hand crept to the hilt of his sword as he saw Hope reaching for a shuriken.

"Thank you my Lord" Kaita bowed his head in gratefulness and respect of the man "You are infinately wiser than my previos employer. he shall pay for his mistakes" Kaita looked around, "I need to bring my escort inside the Castle walls, my lord, if we are to plan this attack"

Gaiate and his retainers quickly caught up with his concubine and the servants that had left earlier and they stopped for lunch as a group. The day was pleasant and they dined in leisurely fashion in a park near a road side shrine. One they had finished Taira no Gaiate escorted his concubine as she wished to pay respects to the shrine. For all his prowess as a general Gaiate was extremely well educated and very cultured, priding himself on his patronage of the arts. Also he was the parton of many shrines, though not this one. It was a shrine to a Kami know as a protector of children.

While they were within, his concubine let him know that she was expecting and Gaiate was well pleased. She had born him two other children, a sone now five and a daughter, three years old. Gaiate beamed and reassured her that she and her children would always be cared for. ""This is just a political marriage Myoko-chan"

"I know my lord. and heed your fathers advice. He is very canny and will suggest only the very best for you" She was two years his sesnior and very wise in the ways of the Court and the daimiyos. She had always given him sound advice and wsa sercure in her position within his household.

furios with being thwarted from speaking with kato imetiatly, hope contented herself with meditating afterall, right out side the door. She was still holding the shirukan but it was concealed in a nich in her armor.

Yet again her mind began to wander, thinking about the past, how she had ran her sword thrugh her 'farthers' chest, the expresion on his face as he fell to the ground. She rembered her extreamly brief period in the isles, seeing sheogorath on his throne, watching as he gave his blessing to the new duke of mainia. She remebered how she had escaped from the emporers forces, killing a further 6 people before fleeing beijing.

The Ronin entered and made their way quickly to their master's side. These were the elite bodyguards Kaita had assembled around himself in order to ensure his own protection, although his faithful Ninja usually saw to that herself

Clothed in black with only his eyes showing, shurikens and knives on his belt and a tanto at his side. This was Snake, assassin, personal bodyguard, and advisor to Kato. The perfect blend of ninja and samurai. Kato, though, had been startled by Riri's appearence, even if his bodyguard has not. When he turned and looked at her his eyes widened. "Riri?" he whispered in surprise. Snake quietly bowed and retreated back into the shadows from where he came.

When Hope tried to make for the door the guard she had spoken to before calmly rammed his knee into her stomach and the other guard has his wakizashi at her throat. "You will see the Shogun now, though perhaps not as you expected." They brought her though the doors.

"I must confess, I have hired an assassin to kill you, but she seems to have lost interest, so we need not worry about that. Now that I am sure of your loyalty I have one small task you and your ronin shall preform. There is a man, by the name of Barry. I know not his last name, but he is a brilliant engineer, a foreigner, whom I need to desigin my castle against attacks. He is traveling at the moment toward the hated Emperor's area, Edo. You must intercept him and bring him back to me. Do not allow him to come under any harm. If he has traveling compainions, bring them too. If he has an escort, kill them off or pay them off, I do not care which. Do this for me and you will have my complete confidence."

The doors to Kato's room where he and Kaita were burst open and two samurai fell in, struggling with a girl. One of them was bleeding from a slight wound on his leg. "What is the meaning of this interruption!?" Kato roared. They all froze and the samurai rose to their feet, leaving the girl on the floor. "She claims to have an audience with you, Shogun, and tried to get in when the warriors came." Kato was disgusted. He looked at Kaita. "Would you or one of your men do me the honor of getting rid of thid annoyance?"

One Ronin took a hit to the shoulder and fell backwards gasping, the others however, were able to block them with the thick armour on their forearms, designed for such an occasion.

"hm. a fair fight then" she said before diving onto the wounded man and impaling him,turning to face her next man she threw an arrow at another warrier, never staying in one place.

"And you are a narrow minded, stubborn and hot headed Fool. We weren't going to hurt you!" Kaita roared in fury as one of his trusted Ronin was struck down, "Riri! Finish her off!"

The black clad ninja nodded and darted towards the gil at an incredible speed, holding her sword ready for an attack.

Kato had stepped back, Snake protectivly in front of him. He shook his head. He had never seen Hope before, and didn't know what she was looking for. If she had only had more patience, she would have been able to speak with him. Now she would likely be killed.

The outrider rode quickly back to the main body of the entourage, where Gaiate walked his horse next to the planquine Mykoto rode in.

"Lord" The samurai cried "A fight ahead, some bandits, maybe ronin, against a giant gaijin."

"Too many of them now days" Gaiate muttered but didn't say which he refered to gaijin or ronin. Maybe it was both.

He spurred his horse in to a leisurely canter, his troops forming on him as he left the procession behind. He pulled up short of where the confrontation was taking place and watched with interest, but chose not to interfer.

"ah is ity bity kaita too scared to fight a girl, hahaha" she said as she moved out of the nijas way, sword at the ready to block any blow "Shame really ,i would have enjoyd killing you" she said striking out at another man with her foot, droping into twisted horse stance and leveling her blade once more.

Blade side steps a Yari that was thrusted at him and stabs his sword into the man behind it ,then brings up his shield up to block a sword that was slash at him as he pulls out his sword to bring it around to kill a man coming at his with a club

"shit"said Blade in Cyrodiilan as he takes a second Yari to his leg which to ,he hits the man with his shield as then swings at another man with his sword cutting the head off

Taira no Gaiate nodded to himself as he watched the gaijin take the head of one after taking a second wound. A brief hand wave and two of his men nudged their mounts into a quick canter and with ease each took the hear of a bandit, leaving the gaijin to fight just the one immediately engaged with him.

As the heades tumbled to the ground they pivoted their horses about and returned to their master's side.

the man with the Yari was back up and all Blade could do was wait for the right monent to end it as the man stabs and thrusted at him as he bucks and side step the Yari as he bleeds from the leg wound and the arrow in his arm

"arrrr"yelled Blade as he drops to one knee then knocks the Yari up to the air with his angled shield as he thrusted his sword toward the man chest running it through to the guard,before pulling it out as the man falls to the ground dead

He pulled his cases of herbs and bandages off the horse as well as his walking staff - which doubled admirably as a weapon should he need to defend himself.

Ignoring the man Blade walks over to a body and rolls it over with his foot and does the same to two more before finding the right body and kneels next to and take a scoll form it and reads it
