It was early in the morning. Only 2 weeks after the goverment went Communist. It was forceful, but a peaceful tranformation. The sun began to rise, and market time began. People wandered the streets looking for good deals on virtually anything. It was mid summer, and it was extremely hot. People could see the humidtiy in air. The came a large explosion. It was a car bomb. People ran around covering there mouths. Others lying dead, or seriously injured. Then masked man armed with assault rifles ran out of buildings opering fire on the people. Over 1200 people were killed. This was catastrophic for the nation of Cripistan. THe largest attack in the nation's history. The group that took responsibilty was the CLA(Cripistan LIberation Army). Not only did they kill many people, they also took control of the town Spencer. Many people taken prisoner were so scared they joined the CLA. It was an uprising that soon hoped to be in Government.

It was only a day after the attack. Now, more rebels were appearing. The terrorists gained control of small villages and towns, but the national army fought hard to keep them out of large city's. Ceckpoints were set up everywhere to make sure nobody was hiding bombs or weapons to aid the rebels. Both sides asked for any type of aid.

The war now became more intense. The rebels had gained control of 22 towns and villages, and now proclaimed the land a new nation that they called Liberistan. Their estimated numbers were over 250,000 loyalists. Even after 9,000 were killed. The national army had suffered much lower casualties at only 1,500 dead but the civillians took the most damage. 20,000 unarmed people were killed over the first 2 weeks of the war. Both sides continued to ask for support from other nations.

As captain Wein was reading the daily headlines on board The Scotia, transmitted to him from one of the intelligence ships of the organization, he focused on a certain line.

"What if we intervene?" he thought, "The Beatus are theocratics, perhaps we can exploit the conflict and insert members of the organization to their ranks."

Wein called the bridge and ordered a different DSRO ship, The Migga, to head south, to Cripistan, and scout around.

"It will take several days, sir."

"It doesn't matter. Just get there and see if you can blend."

Neither side was really winning, but the rebels were facing more deaths and casualties. The rebels had established their own nation and wanted to take all of Cripistan for their own. The Government wanted to take back their land, and rid of the rebels. Now that more nations were interested, both sides saw this as an opputunity for support.

The days went on. Now there were less casualties, because most of the rebels went to occupied areas. This way they could defend whatever they now controlled.

The Beatusian BAC-15 Úlfaldi touched down at an airstrip near the capital of Liberistan. After they landed, they began unloaded the plane, the delegation for the church went to see the leader of Liberistan.

tHe leader of Liberistan pulled up near the landing-strip. He was in an armored truck. He was followed by 2 jeeps with .50 AA machine gun. He told the delegate to enter. He was bringing him to the capital, Sond City.

The city of Spencer would be a perfect target. We have troops placed outside the city, with all the commotion, we will surely be able to take the city. There are a lot of, civillians though, but it is best for the general poulation the the rebels be killed.

The roads were filled with armed soldiers. The prisoner's were bound with handcuffs, and had been checked for weapons. They were in an unfortunate situation. They would arrive to the base very soon. The Commander there would decide what would be done with the prisoners.

The prior continued to pray silently. Meanwhile, back at the airport, the men at the plane where wondering why the religious delegation hadn't checked in. They asked one of the Liberistans if he knew anything about what had happened.

The city had been devastated. Dead people were all over. The Cripistan forces entered the city along with the Gorostan forces. They shot anbody witha weapon. Over 8,000 citizens, and 3,500 rebels were killed in the attack. This was the largest loss of life in the entire war. Especially because most of the citizens in Spencer were dedicated to the rebels. This made it harder to capture. While a group of the Cripistan forces were walking with the Gorostan troops, insurgents fired off RPG;s at the group. Then more rebels ambushed from the sides, killing many national troops. In the end, 256 Cripistan soldiers were killed. No report on the Gorostan forces.( Did you have any losses Gorostan?)

Forces from Gorostan, fighting with nationalist troops from Cripistan liberated the city of Spencer, which had been held by the forces of the rebels. Casualties within the civilian and rebel ranks were extreme, but ensured victory and established government control of the city once again.

AMBUSH. As the joint forces continued to sweep the city they were ambushed by remaining rebel elements, who launched RPG's and engaged in small arms fire. Initial losses for the Gorostan SP are listed at 42 for the RPG attack. The rebels were successfully engaged and venegence for the dead was extracted.

As of broadcast the city appears to be secured and remaining pockets of resistance are being hunted out, and exterminated.

Yes, the armored infantry would be useful in those circumstances. You can send the troops as soon as possible.

Gorostani forces have arrived and established command and control of the Gorostan International Air Base. Defensive positions have been assumed. No rebel activity has been seen yet. Patrols around the air base are actively searching for rebel groups and conducting intelligence gathering.

The rebels were in the mountains near the Gorostan Int. Air Base. The looked down. IT had few troops there. They had just arrived and open to an attack. Quickly they got into 400 tanks, 1200 armed jeeps, and 3000 walking men. This force was much larger than the small 2000 Gorostan force. They cam down the mountain unseen. When they got close enough, they fired RPGs right into the base. Then the tanks fired their cannons at the enemy. The jeeps sped forward gunning down any men in sight. Then, the foot soldiers ran up shooting of multiple assault rifles at the enemy.

URGENT FLASH

Immediate assistance is requested by the Gorostani forces based at Gorostan International Air Base. Heavy attack in progress. Rebels are massed on the west side of the base. After the initial assault attacks are occuring sporadically along the evolving front.

Heavy armor support or air support needed.

Hours later a large mass of Armored infantry accompanied by anti infantry vehicles and Comanche helicopters charged into the enemy border shooting up all terrorists with mini guns. The terrorists were out gunned, only their RPGs did actual harm to the armored troops since they were bulletproof and armor plated.

Meanwhile the commander set up a command center and base in the city closest to the nasur base. The commande also ordered his second in command to build a second base in the city of Spencer. Both bases were both going to support the liberation of captured territories and defend the mainland from further terrorism.

They had completed their attack on the Gorostan force, but the South Lizasauria force was too strong. Rebels were being killed at an extreme rate. They had to retreat. Over 2000 of them aly dead. They did not expect the armored infantry to attack so fast. It was a dealy attack. They had no leader, and now, had few options.

Gorostani forces are engaged in afierce battle with rebels in the continuing struggle in Cripistan. Shortly after establishing control of the Gorostan Air Base rebels launched a combined armor and infantry assault on the Gorostan infantry forces. Word of the galant actions of our soldiers has caused a swell of national support in our glorious fledgling nation.

Story Developing.

Cripistan forces were sent to the Gorostan Int. Air Base(GIAB for short) immediatley after the message was sent. By the time the force of 1500 arrived, the battle was over. Thousnads of rebels lay dead. They did not know wahat the casualties of the Gorostan force was at this point. All they knew that the rebels had a large group of dedicated fighters, that were driven back by the South Lizasauria troops. They thanked them, and then assited in the building of the new base.

Commander Calp: I concur, we should round them up and place them in temporary concentration camps where they'll be taken care of and try to reason with their leaders, of course the leaders will be unarmed and handcuffed and possible caged while we send people to negotiate with them.

OOC: The commander wants to know why the terrorists are doing what they're doing, attempt to bring them to reason that way they'll stop for good. The alternative would be drive them underground where they can still do damage.

The Commander ordered all his celebrating troops to get back on the offensive and begin attacking rebel territories. This time sniper squads were sent forth to scout and report any changes in the enemy's strategy, tactics or weaponry. If it was the same as before the commander would order the same strategy used in the initial attack.

With the support of other allied nations, Cripistan's troops were on the move. They sent out into rebel villages. With overwhelming forces, and low morale, the rebels had no chance. Cripistan and it's allies were quickly gaining back its territory.

The commander gave the order, the armored troops did as last time during the initial attack.

With their forces being crushed, the rebels surrendered. They returned all former Liberistan teeritory to Cripistan.


Cripistan National News

Earlier this evening, Liberistan officials surrendered to Cripistan and it's allies. This was the first war to be fought on Cripistanian soil. Over 2million were killed, and many others wounded. An additional 20 million Liberistan loyalists are currently in concentration camps, and 2 POWs of Beatus are still being held captive. More on the story as it developes.

In reality, the government wanted the rebel citizens killed. They began putting gas chanmbers, and shooting areas in the concentratio camp. In most camps, one gas chamber could kill 2,000 people at once. After prisoners were shot or gased, the were reduced to ashes in the cremeatorias.
