This is a place where I'll keep my designs in this game. I realize that the design rules used in the .pdf are complicated, and many people may not have the time or willingness to construct an entire fleet using those rules. They also may want to still play hard sci-fi. For people who don't want to make their own ships, want to participate in funding the corporate Kadoz Commission, or feel they'd rather use my ships for some bizarre reason, you can come here, and purchase ships.
This storefront will be updated as I construct ships for my nation in the HSFT Universe, and, of course, it is only available to people within the Hard Sci-Fi FT Universe (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=541078).

Description: The Artificer-class Corvette is the mainstay of the patrol force of the Kadoz Commission. Decently armed and lightly armoured, the Artificer is designed to investigate in and around planets, and serve as defence for small areas. It is designed to cost little to upkeep, although automation and extra costs relating to this ensure the ship costs eight times as much as an ordinary ship this size, it means the upkeep is half as much.
The Artificer, despite its laser armaments, is not a ship designed to go toe-to-toe with actual combat craft, nor go on extensive patrol runs. Occasionally hunting pirates, enforcing quarantine, and going on the occasional supply mission to asteroid miners, the Artificer is a short-range jack-of-all-trades corvette which is the first place for cadets having just finished in the academy, which serves as much as a police craft as it does as a military one.

The Ranger is the scouting vessel of the Kadoz fleet. While the majority of things in-system can be seen from various stations and outposts the Kadoz have, the Ranger serves as the ship that investigates problems, restores order in distant parts of the system, and ensures all things are running smoothly. A ship that can conceivably run month-long missions or longer is a ship that needs luxurious accomodation, spin-habitants, and psychologists. The Ranger is not a combat craft, and has minimal armour, and slow acceleration, making it easy prey for any enemies it may encounter, however, the Ranger is often escorted by local craft who may be in the area. A "repair factor" of 0.25 makes the ship incredibly cheap to repair, which is crucial, as the Ranger-class sees long missions which means difficult upkeep could mean the end of a ship. This makes for an incredibly expensive initial cost, which is negated by the level of automation on the ship over time. Some Ranger-class ships have been in service for almost thirty years, a testament to their durability and effectiveness.
The Ranger is able to house the four people onboard for months on end, and has a number of computerized systems designed to reduce stress for the onboard members. With a computerized psychologist, as well as a real one who is hired to be onboard (By Commission law, all classes of ship that go out for more than three weeks at a time must have a qualified human psychologist aboard), people aboard the Ranger have little trouble serving out their time on the craft.
