Princess Jade soon decided to start her most grand plan yet. a Attack on Washington D.C. The Target: President Regan.

Jade had heard that The nation known as The United States had been trying to become higher on the Superpower scale. This was a threat to her plans.

The Cobra Moon Army that was to be sent was to have 80,000 Alley-Vipers (Cobra Moon Urban Assault Troopers), 20,000 S.A.W.-Vipers (Cobra Moon Heavy Machine Gunners), 5,000 Cobra Moon Officers (Cobra Moon Squad Leader), 500 Medi-Vipers (Medical Troopers), 600 Heli-Vipers (Cobra Moon Battle Copter Troopers) and 6,000 Track-Vipers (HiSS II Drivers) with 600 HiSS-II Tanks and 600 Battle Copters. This was to be sent by a Fleet of 50 Cobra Moon Air Cruisers.

American intelligence sattellites picked up the movements and American intell officers wrote them off as typical Cobra Moon exercises. No threat to America, they thought.

The US had been preoccupied with the nuisances of a peacetalks to end the Albalast and Ryou conflict. Americans were complaining of refugees from the AMF/BL conflict. But the law was adamant, all refugees fleeing war had the right to seek refuge on US territory. Half of America was pro AMF and half was pro British Londinium. Taking sides in that conflict would cause the union to collapse from within.
President Reagan was careful to keep America neutral so as to keep the union together. The last thing the country needed was another civil war.
Governor Jebediah Huckster was dealing with wild fires in the State of California. He was considered a major contender for the White House in the next election.
Most Americans worked and partied as they usually did, totally oblivious to what was happening in the world.

Americans had never heard of a nation called Cobra Moon. They didn't care for international politics, let alone domestic politics. But they did rant about the "Refugee Problem." Rant was all they did.

OOC: Or we could help him make into something that could give some small defense of itself. The other problem is aerodynamics. Saucer shaped craft just are not that stable in the atmosphere. They tend to wobble to much from lack of stability. If you put too much armor then you create weight problems. How does it fly?
As per defenses, perhaps missiles or lasers???? Cobra Moon's input would be helpful on this.

The American people saw the pirate transmission and began laughing. It had been a while since they had comedic relief.
The White House said the interference in daily programming was the result of a pirate broadcast from outside US territory and that the US did not consider the threat to be serious.


But one or two gung ho Americans wanted to use it to start a fight with Cobra Moon so they could acquire medals. To them war was like a video game. They were too dumb to realize that in real war, if you die, you don't get a second life. But they were usually just unemployed people who stayed up all night watching war movies and playing war video games in their parents basement.
Noone took them seriously.

A small Greal naval fleet was off the coast of the United States, the Admiral of the fleet had ordered the fleet to the United States for sightseeing. His flagship was a superdreadnought recently bought.

We RECOMMEND to the UnitedStatesOfAmerica to not underestimate such threat and SUSPECT that it is their exact intention that their force is underestimated after knowing about that pirate transmission that seems to have been designed to seem goofy on purpose.

IDS Blazing Angel, 250 miles from America

The Blazing Angel. The word meant many things, but this one exactly was the name of a Nemesis Class Carrier, one of the biggest in the 4th Fleet. On board were 50 F/A-12Bs and 50 F/A-11s, the staple of Cazelian Naval aviation.

Captain James Thornhold sat in his F/A-11, which was steadily being hooked up to the catapult. His Weapons Officer, Thomas Hogart, was fresh out of military school "Are you nervous Hogart?" asked Thornhold "Um...Just scared sir" replied Hogart in a scared tone "Then prepare for a roller coaster ride, cause this thing is fucking fun!" Roared Thornhold ecstatically, just as the catapult shot the plane from the deck. The whole time Hogart was screaming his lungs out, while Thornhold was laughing his head off "Captain Thornhold, this is command, we have unidentified airships moving close to the USA, please meet up with Charlie Squadron for Observation, over" "Roger that command, moving to intercept, over" Replied Thornhold, turning his aircraft in the direction of the Cobra moon airships....

The 15th Air Wing out of Compton Air Base was on aerial training maneuvers in the skies over the South California desert when NORAD had spotted the unidentified aircraft.
NORAD's system had been updated and was picking up air battles around the planet. The aircraft's nation was denoted by color codes. When ever a colored dot disappeared it meant that nation had lost an aircraft in battle. But the staff in front of the huge display were only concerned about the airspace that immediately surrounded the US' territories. They saw the Cobra Moon craft but did not think they were important or threatening.

Greal's aircraft, which were coded gray, had permission to fly through US airspace. The coloring scheme of a dot depended on where it originated, for example aircraft originating from BL territory were coded Blue while aircraft from AMF territory were a bright red. Light Red represented aircraft from Albalast.
The Pegasus system required at least 5 years of training in order for the technicians to understand the color code schematics.

In addition to color codes, each dot could be identified with a double letter and a number next to it. The double letter denoted the type of aircraft, F22 or Mig 27 for example, the number identified the number of aircraft since one dot could represent not just one aircraft but many aircraft.

Greal fighters flew to the US airfields for refueling after a long patrolling, 100 other fighters flew over the Greal fleet to keep watch.

The Oily Pratan Defence Force's third expeditionary fleet steamed towards the US of A. It's original orders were to conduct refresher excercises in international waters, but Oily Pratan Spy Satellites, which had been trained on the US of A ever since its condemnation of the OPDF nuclear programme,had picked up an interesting broadcast. The fleet was to investigate the situation without entering USA's waters. However, it would still be in range of their Radars, so the fleet captain had ordered all ships to look as harmless as they could, which was a tall order as you had a 40 ship fleet bearing down on the USA.

Greal fighters detected the Oily Pratan Defense Force's third expeditionary fleet, at first they thought they were enemy ships, but satelite photos showed that that was their ally, so the fighters flew over the fleet as a sign of welcome.

Three Flights of fighters, in Delta-Wing formation, flew over the fleet. As they were bearing Greal Markings, the FLeet did not go to arms, instead, they stood there waving at the fighters of their allies.

The Commander of this force was Field Marshal Mamba, one of the Few who was not Stupid or crazy......Well, He did stop at New York to watch a Mets Game.

The Cruisers had to go first to Canada then gone down the Coast in hopes to avoid the enemy Fleets, Stopping at New York for a Mets Game and Hot Dogs, and then Continued to Deleware.

Mamba was to attack Washington and take it for The Cobra Moon. Renforcements in the Form of The Crimson Guard and a few B.A.Ts would help in Cobra Moons Conquest of The US.

Cobra Moon would finaly start a VERY Large Terrorist attack.

The President personally greeted President Ramone. The Secret Service watching over the situation and making sure no one entered the area.
The need to reduce tensions was not lost. Reagan knew this meeting was the first step toward America's resolve to counter socialism. He was convinced that socialism was a threat to the United States.

NORAD had detected the airships entering America's airspace from Canada. Because there was no record of them having a filed the required flight plan with the FAA, NORAD began to take special interest in them but kept back, letting the FAA do its job.

Darryl Icon, Air Traffic Controller at New York Airport attempted to open communications with the foreign airships.
"Unidentified Aircraft, this is New York Air Traffic Control, please identify yourself. "
The communication was routine and over open lines.
There was no response so he tried again, "Unidentified aircraft, this New York Air Traffic Control, please identify yourself."

He waited for a response, waiting as the saucers flew New York to Delaware and had turned to Maryland. If they moved to Maryland on what seemed to be course taking them over DC, the air force would take over as the aircraft approached restricted airspace.

Darryl, having waited for 15 minutes for a reply and noting what is in the air cruisers path, got up and walked to the back of the control tower. He picked up the red phone, a direct line to McAllister Air Force Base in Maryland. The airforce was now in charge of the situation.

Two F-16's were launched toward the aircruisers to investigate and to escort them out of US airspace.

"Unidentified aircraft, this is the American Air Force. You are approaching restricted air space, please alter your course."


After no 5 minutes of no response, the order was given for the F16's to investigate.

OOC: I don't have anything personal against you. But I think the US might see OP ships as a concern, due to the disagreement over OP's nuclear weapons. They might think OP is going to attack because of the US's condemnation of nuclear proliferation.
At the least, there would probably be suspicion. But I don't think they would ask the ships to leave.

The President's personal assistant, Marissa Gonzalez, picked up the phone as it rang. The President having gone out to meet the President of Deurem for top secret talks. No one knew about that.

The Screen at NORAD had changed. Instead of monitoring the world's aircraft, it had now zoomed in to the New England area where the Cobra Moon ships were being monitored after not heeding requests for communications and not turning away from restricted airspace.

The secret service burst into Applebee's restaurant and siezed the Vice President, ushering him out to waiting car. He was rushed to the air base and put on a plane flying out of DC to NORAD Central Command in Colorado.
The Joint Cheifs were now watching the situation, having sent another 4 F16s to direct the foriegn airships out of American airspace.

The Air Force and the FAA were making furious attempts at communicating with the saucers.
As this was all happening, the rest of America was going about its day, business as usual, not aware that an attack was imminent. The government was keeping the situation quiet so as to not cause a panick.

President Reagan still had not been informed of the situation.

The AirCruisers soon were going into Washington Airspace, heading for the heart of the Capital City of The US. Field Marshal Mamba soon ordered that The Missiles be launched at The Capitol Building.

"Holy Shit, they got missiles" Colonel Lancer said from the cockpit of his F16.

"Air Command this Task Force Apex, saucers have missiles away. Request permission to engage."

Major Donaldson saw the blinking little dash's representing the missiles on the radar screen in Maryland.
"Roger that Task Force Apex, permission granted."

The calls were made up the chain of command. The joint Cheifs began heading out of the building to take a plane to California.
The federal government was now in a scramble.
400 more F16's accompanied by 100 F117 Stealth Fighters were launched into the air to attack the enemy aircraft.
Antimissile batteries began opening fire with conventional anti missile missiles. The air defense grid was scheduled to be upgraded to antiaircraft/anti ballistic missile lasers. But that upgrade was not supposed to happen for another year.

Somewhere in DC.
Reagan's advisor walked in during his meeting with the President of Deuren and, interrupting the conversation whispered something into the President's ear.
Reagan's face was white for a split second before returning to half normal. Then the Secret Service Cheif entered room, "Mr. President we have to evacuate now. Your life in danger."

They began escorting both President's away from the location to McAllistor Airbase at a rushed pace. Just as they left the building, Vietnam memorial 3 blocks away was obliterated by an incoming missile causing people to run in panic from the explosion. The impact caused the ground to vibrate and a huge cloud of dark grey smoke billowed from the site where 200 visitors had just been erased from existence.

The First Lady and the staff were evacuating the White House along with visitors and school field trip groups.

Congress's session was interrupted by capital police who promptly began escorting everyone out of the building. All tours were canceled.

3 missiles hit the Pentagon, destroying it and everyone inside as survivors struggled to get out.

Within moments the capital was in pandemonium. 400 people were killed and 93 were injured.

America's response, Task Force Virginia had began their attack on the saucers with the F16's firing at the enemy first, followed up by the F117's.

Greal fighters fired Hell-Fire missiles at the enemy air cruisers. 200 other Greal Shark fighters arrived and fired missiles at the enemy "saucers". The naval fleet was put on alert.

"Could you tell these idiots at the gate that, they won't let my limo in," said Edwardo.

With the secret service rushing her out the door, Marissa said, "I'm sorry sir but their evacuating the White House. The secret service says I have to hang up and leave. "

The agent grabbed the phone, "I'm sorry sir but due to an emergency situation no one is being allowed into the White House."

The first of the evacuating vehicles rushed out of the drive way as the gates began opening up. They were moving at a high rate of speed suggesting that something big was happening.

Just as the Marissa and the first lady's vehicle pulled away from the White House, a missile slammed into the West wings obliterating and catching the rest of the building to burst into flame. The impact jolted the US flag from the top of the dome, causing it to fall to the ground and be soiled.

"Could you tell these idiots at the gate that, they won't let my limo in," said Edwardo.

The Gate guard approached Edwardo's vehicle and told the driver, "I'm sorry sir, but we're not allowing anyone in. I have to ask you turn around and head out of the city."

"Follow those cars," yelled Edwardo pointing at the First Ladies motorcade. Before he finished giving the order Edwardo's limo was right on the tail of the secret service vehicles.

Edwardo reached under his seat and grabbed his satellite phone. He called his office and told them to cancel the rest of his appointments for the day.

Hwang looked at the screen and pulled Wang over to look at it.

"Why? It's going to get logged into the Imperial logs anyway. If they want to watch and eat pop-corn, they can do that at their own convenience."

Hwang shook his head. "I mean, shouldn't we warn other people about what's going on here? Aliens and spaceships are a pretty big deal."

"Actually, on a good day, it happens about 5 times every hour. You just never hear about it until you get stuck behind an intelligence analysis screen. But sometimes, they are pretty funny. Say, I remember seeing these people before."

Wang nodded and pulled up some pop-corn from under his desk. Hwang simply gapped in awe. "How can you do that? Countless people will die!"

"Meh. People will die anyway; at least people dying this way makes it fun to watch."

President Ramone looked in awe at the destruction as fast as he could in a speeding limo. It reminded him of the war games all men had to go through once in their lives as conscripted men of the nation of Deurem. It was as if it was a fireworks display, but as soon as that notion came into his mind he snapped back into reality and turned to his American counterpart.

"Why must the innocents be involved..." he said in his rough latin voice, his tone showed the sadness that was filling the man. With a sigh he turned away from the windows and away from the carnage and to the president. In till his death the Deurem President would remember this horrible event.

Edwardo picked up his car phone and phoned the unlisted number of the Beatusian High Command.

Deep beneath the city within the Beatusian High Command A monk picked up the phone and said, "Eilífur Pizza, guaranteed..." At that point Edwardo cut him off. "Stop talking and listen. This is Ed, situation urgent. Have intellegence do a sweep over sector Romeo Whiskey Charlie 1 1 9ner," then he hung up.

World News Special Report: America Under Attack

The US capital came under attack today. (shows Vietnam Memorial and Pentagon being attacked by missiles, people dying and running.)

US aircraft are responding to the aggressors. NORAD has declared US airspace off limits to all aircraft. All planes inside the US have been grounded.
The skies are being patrolled by the airforce, (video of a mass fighter jets flying low over Los Angeles).

The military has been placed on alert and is now mobilizing for war. The President and Vice President have made it out of the capital safe. President Reagan is currently meeting with the joint chiefs aboard Air Force One.
The President of Deurem who was holding talks with the Reagan at the time the attack occured, is said to be on Air Force One with Reagan. (ooc: Hope that ok)


Air Force One is reported to be flying over Kansas, with an escort of 20 F-35s

President Reagan has issued a directive placing the nation under martial law. There is a 5pm to 5am curfew.

We have heard from House Majority Leader Rick Grundge that Congress has also been evacuated and will be holding session in Kansas City Missouri where they will be taking up the Declaration of War resolution that President Reagan is expected to request.

Global Message

Stoklomolvi condemns the Cobra Moon's attack and will aid the United States with 100 billion Universal Standard Dollars. Stoklomolvi, if given permission, will also use a massive number of explosive-filled ICBMs to decimate the enemy base locations.

With enemy troops now paradropping down out the airships, the military began firing surface to air missiles at the ships.
Because the US is a signatory to the Geneva Conventions the Americans could not fire on the paratroopers while they were in the air.
But troops trained their weapons on the paratroopers and fired on them as soon as they touched the ground.
