Revolution Strikes (Peacefully?)

In what appears to be a well planned and coordinated move, the Theoroshian Party and the Premier were overthrown and replaced by the first Emperor since the Medieval Times. It was a completely bloodless coup, since the Party and the Premier planned it.
The People have long viewed the government as and effectual, well oiled machine; however, with more and more socialist governments being invaded, destroyed, or overthrown, the Party has seen fit to resign and pass leadership over to several well respected army politicians. Their plan(s) are simple:
1 - To establish a semi-socialist state, in which the Emperor (Premier, in this case) rules the people; however, the Advisory Council (made up of the Party House and the Peoples Legislature) and the Elected Assemblies (made up of the Director of the Military, Director of the Homefront, Director of Health and Food, Director of Energy, and Director of Relations) are able to advise the Emperor in matters, and even impeach him should the People wish so.
2 - The military shall now be named the Empire's Armed Forces, with ten legions of 2,000,000 men and women each. Additionally, the Emperor's Fist will be made, consisting of an elite unit whose sole job is to protect the Emperor and other military officials. It shall consist of no more, and no less, than three hundred men and women. The Empire's Armed Forces (EAF) shall issue contracts to begin work on any and all vessels needed by itself; any vessels left over from pre-Empire times will still serve until sufficient vessels are built.
3 - The economy shall remain the same; however, businesses will be publically owned, and instead of the outdated 'Theo' system, each worker (insured by the State and protected by It's laws) shall receive no less than nine ounces per hour of work. Each worker is also entitled to free health care (as long as said worker registers with the State).
4 - All property owned, whether foreign or homeland, by the previous government will be transferred to the current government. Government relations with Akimonad, British Londinium, New Vontania, et al (all ex-EVIL nations), will remain the same (peaceful).
The government released this statement early this morning, with the full endorsment from the Emperor:
"We hope that the world sees this as a step in the right direction; hopefully, our previous allies will stay with us as we have stood by them before."
