About the Society

The International Bird Identification Society's purpose is to promote interest and
education in birds. This includes their care, reproduction, exhibition and conservation
both in captivity and preservation in the wild. IBIS was founded in 2007 by a
representative of HM King Dwight of Pinguinum with the aid of a number nations looking to
improve the lives of birds. IBIS was incorporated in the Nation of Pinguinum as a non-profit corporation
on 19th September, 2007.

Members of the IBIS receive a host of wonderful benefits. Classified advertising
is free to members and is also published on our web-site. Each member also receives a
complimentary IBIS Breeders Directory.
Members who are breeders are listed at no charge.

IBIS also has a free band registration system that is available to all members. This allows
people to get in contact with the breeders of their birds. We also sell IBIS leg bands to
members. These bands allow these birds to be traced to the breeder so histories and pedigrees
can be obtained. These bands are also recognized by the Royal Bird Protection Society of
Pinguinum and the Royal Society of Birdwatchers of Brutland and Norden to earn points in
their shows.

IBIS believes strongly in conservation and is involved in various activities.

IBIS believes that all birds are important not just the rare species and mutations. That is why IBIS has formed a Bird Welfare Board to place unwanted and abused birds in good, safe, permanent homes. Members of IBIS, who meet the standards and guidelines, may adopt these unfortunate birds and give them a new lease on life with a new family. IBIS is the only specialty bird
organization that offers this service.

The IBIS believes in the value of exhibiting birds and has
formulated Standards for judging birds.

Out of what could be millions of nations, a tiny percentage have declared their support for birds. That is a tiny pecentage that seem to care. Join this society today and take part in something great. If you claim to enjoy your natural environment remember it is wildlife that allow it to thrive. Alot of this wildlife are birds. Since they can fly, they have the capacity to travel long distances.

Support the birds. Support the wildlife. Support the environment.

Welcome to the Club.

Do you wish to buy a Society Band? or any of our other products.

Our nation is free-market, therefore we leave the purchasing of your products to private elements. however, i can tell you that there is very strong need for bird food in Bredford.

Also, if any of the IBIS society members is being offered to export parrots to Bredford, please notice us.

the goverment has recently discovered a big net of people who were smuggling parrots to Bredford, and we are afraid this might continue.

(We must check every animal that comes inside our country, as it might carry diseases or other things that might harm our citizens.)

Further, we can tell you that the most popular bird (as personal pet) in Bredford is the Namaqua Dove (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Namaqua_Dove).
the second popular bird is the Blue Wern (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superb_Fairy-wren).

also, we have increasing population of Terns on our east coast.

This sounds interesting. Of course, we cater for all birds. As a state member, the Bredford rep can buy in bulk will have the privilege to sell these bands to individuals or national societies within the laws of your nation and our egulations.
