Severe drought has rocked the nation of Daufuskie in the last few months. Water supplies were running extremely low, especially in the Carolina Province. The need for water rationing had already been recognized and enacted; however, it is believed that it will not be enough to support the population. Desalinization of the sea water is not happening fast enough to support the nation’s growing needs. The need to import water from foreign nations has been grudgingly recognized by the Duke.

Announcement from the Duke of Daufuskie:

It is unfortunate that we have encountered such problems, however, it is critical for the government to help its people, and as such, with the concerns of my people at heart, to assist them in this time of drought and natural crisis. Especially critical is the importing of water into this nation. So it is by this announcement that we ask that any nations with excess supplies of water please consider sending some to Daufuskie or allowing us to purchase them.

Greal Helicopters were all lined up, trucks were parked nearby, Greal soldiers were offloading the truck's load (Which was water bottles.)and putting them into the Helicopter. First, the Helicopters carried the water to Daufuskie to the much water-needed regions, then ships will start arriving carrying even more water. Engineers were also on the helicopter, they were sent to help speed up the construction of the Desalinlation plants.

Some of Greal Helicopters landed outside of Daufuskie City, the capitol, and one of the major centers of water crisis. Many of the others were directed to the city of Badlands. The need for water was obvious, there were no lawns to speak of, and crops were turning brown from a lack of hydration. In the lower classes, people were truly suffering, looking for sewer water to boil, searching for streams that still flowed in the forests, some just sitting they were so weak. The Greal water was loaded onto government Jeeps and they drove out to these worst hit parts and distributed it throughout.

The workers at the seaside desalination plants were ecstatic to see the Greal Engineers and supplies. The collation of workers began building up the desalination programs and machinery to the largest levels ever. The desalination program would hopefully soon become a safeguard against a repeat of this situation and perhaps bring the nation out of this one.

Hours later...

Greal Helicopters began dropping loads of water bottle down to the people of the Carolina Province, the water bottles were pretty cold since they were kept at freezing tempratures before taking off. Engineers were dropped onto the non-cmpleted plants to help speed up the process of the water.

The government of Stoklomolvi declares that a pipeline should be built between the two nations to ferry water. The pipe will be built on the expense of the Stoklomolvi government, with a meagre cost of several billion dollars.
