After centuries of Chinese oppression, Mongolia was liberated by Russia and became independent. Soon it became a Soviet Satellite. However, after World War III, it was let go by the weakening Soviet Union. It's leader, Boke Khan, sought to restore Mongolia to its former glory--with a modern touch. Preparations were being made for a few years now as the Mongolian Army trained hard and maintained a strong discipline. It was the best army in the region and the pride of the entire nation. Every able man was required to receive training and could be called up for duty at any time. Women also had their part by maintaining supply lines, supply sources, and medical needs. It was only a matter of time before the Mongol hordes again razed the steppes of Asia.
CHOIBALSAN--The 4th Hordu of Mongolia was activated and ordered to invade southern Siberia. The rich oil fields there would fuel the Mongol war machine. The troops drilled and readied themselves while the Air Force set aside some bombers and fighters. Little air resistance was expected, let alone ground resistance.
DALANDZADGAD--Boke Khan announced the "reunification of all Mongolic peoples" and ordered the 5th Hordu, backed by most of the Air Force to annex Inner Mongolia, which was under Chinese domination. The operation aws expected to be easy and swift. The Chinese central government withdrew and wouldn't care much if it lost a small bit of territory.
