Hi all, I've been looking at a lot of posts lately, and some of them say
"Oh we have wired you the money"
or
"My budget doen't allow me"

And my question is
What exactly is money, and how do you define it?
First of all, everyone, or mostly everyone has different currencies. So how do you deal with inflation and recession of the currency.
Also, how do you know how much money a person has? For all I care, i could give myself all the money i want!
Can someone please tell me?

All the "money wired" posts you've seen here are based around roleplaying nations. Read the Sticky threads at the top of this forum and the NationStates forum to understand what roleplaying is, and how national money plays a role.

Most people use a calculator such as NSTracker (http://peachiekeen.net/nstracker/index.php?nation=east+ying) to determine their budgets, and from there on it's roleplaying. The calculators are hardly perfect, but a lot of people use them.

Other people just wing it, that's usually fine too as long as you don't claim to have a twenty billion man army when your nation's total population is 12 million people.
