AF - 07 Assault Rifle
Every 10 years, the Alfegos government re-evaluates a weapon design: this year, it is the standard infantry assault rifle. The rifle was designed to replace the AF - 97, which had poor endurance in the field.
This was upgraded by integrating a more effective sealed units for the seperate components, and a unique surfacant to the parts to allow the easy cleaning of parts.
The other problem was its weight. This was reduced by using a classified titanium - aluminium alloy for the construction of the working parts and barrel of the gun. The weight was reduced further by integrating plastic components for the magazine, handgrips and detachable stock.
Finally, it was designed to integrate a detachable laser designator, that could be fitted into the underbarrel grenade/special munitions launcher.

Dear Sirs,
In response to you question the PX3A1 uses the Crookfur designed 9x24mm caseless ammuntion. For a pistol designed to fire .45 ACP ammuntion we would recommend the EP4B3 (Crookfur designation for the HK USP tactical .45) availble for approximatly $650 per unit and for 9x19mm ammuntion the EP4D2 (again a USP tactical but in 9x19mm) for the same price.
OOC: normally I would say just choose what ever RL pistol you like if you want to use RL ammo, NS designed psitols are generally only worth it if you are willign to adopt the new ammo that goes with them. I offer Crookfur produced versions of the USP tactical series an option if you would rather buy psitol instead of producing your own, as it is generally assuemd that msot antions are more or less capable of producing what ever Rl equipment takes thier fancy.

Pale Rider Arms would like to offer it's M26 series of Battle Rifles for your perusal.
M26A1 Infantry Combat Rifle
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v652/blaesa/PRA%20junk/M26A1.jpg
Length: 685mm
Mass: 4.7 kilograms
Mass (Loaded): 5.4 kilograms
Cartridge: 6.5x40mm Caseless
Magazine: 50 rounds
Barrel Length: 540mm
Muzzle Velocity: 910 m/s
Muzzle Energy: 3323 joules
Rate of Fire: 800 RPM (2200 RPM burst)
Modes of Fire: Single, 3 round Burst, Full Auto
UGL Cartridge: 35x90mm
UGL Barrel Length: 310mm
Sight: Integrated SmartGun System
Cost: 1800 USD
Replacing the volatile M25 HVAR as the standard combat rifle of the Otagian Regular Army, the M26A1 combat rifle is a powerful and advanced weapon, well suited to the ORA's demanding requirements.
The action of the M26A1 is based largely on the Heckler and Koch G11, with the recoil of each shot rotating the chamber 90 degrees to load a new round before snapping back into place. In the case of a dud round, the operator merely cycles the action, which loads a new round and ejects the old through an emergency port in the bottom of the rifle. In addition, the M26A also borrows the G11's moving barrel, chamber and magazine, allowing extremely high rates of fire, with all three rounds leaving the gun before the assembly hits the operator's shoulder. Thus, recoil has no chance to effect the user's accuracy, greatly increasing the lethality of a decent marksman by letting the entire burst impact in the same location.
The M26A1 uses the latest version of PRA's SmartGun system, which feeds targetting information garnered from an integrated laser range finder to a set of glasses (also available in nightvision or IR goggles) worn by the user, via a short range wireless transmission (roughly two meters maximum effective range). The glasses then project a crosshairs, distance to target, and ammunition remaining onto the operator's field of view. The system runs off of a small lithium-ion battery cell, and engages only when pressure is applied to the trigger in order to conserve energy. The M26A1 also features GrenadeLink software, which predicts the flight path of rounds fired from the integral UGL, and displays the arc on the operator's field of view.
M26A2 Designated Marksman Rifle
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v652/blaesa/PRA%20junk/M26A2.jpg
Length: 788mm
Mass: 3.75 kilograms
Mass (Loaded): 4.4 kilograms
Cartridge: 6.5x40mm Caseless
Magazine: 50 rounds
Barrel Length: 643mm
Muzzle Velocity: 940 m/s
Muzzle Energy: 3545 joules
Rate of Fire: 800 RPM (2200 RPM burst)
Modes of Fire: Single, 3 round Burst, Full Auto
Sight: Integrated SmartGun System, x4 optical scope
Other: Folding bipod
Cost: 1500 USD
The M26A2 is simply a modified version of the M26A1, intended for use as a designated marksman's weapon. The underbarrel grenade launcher is replaced by a bipod, while a powerful optical sight is added, as well as a longer barrel for increased accuracy.
M26 Security Rifle
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v652/blaesa/PRA%20junk/ares-hvar.jpg
Length: 611.25mm
Barrel Length: 543.75mm
Mass: 4.6 kilograms
Cartridge: 6.5x40mm caseless
Ammunition: 30 box magazine (optional extended magazines in 40 or 50 rounds)
Muzzle Velocity: 910 m/s
Muzzle Energy: 3105.375 joules
Rate of Fire: 800 RPM cyclic (2200 RPM burst fire)
Modes of Fire: Safe, Semi-Automatic, 3 Round Burst, Full Auto
Aiming: Iron sights, integral smartgun system
Cost: 1400 USD
After several well publicised incidents involving the M25 HVAR exploding when fired (which PRA maintains will never occur with a properly maintained rifle), the Otagian military requested several new rifle designs from PRA using a less volatile round than the M25, including a new rifle for corporate security forces. The M26 is that rifle.
Using a 6.5x40mm caseless cartridge, the M26 compensates for the lower killing power of the 6.5mm round with improved rate of fire, sending up to 2200 rounds down range per minute. Pale Rider Arms neglected to include the integral grenade launcher common to all its previous designs, citing decreased utility in it's intended use by security personnel. A recessed mounting rail does, however, allow for after-market launchers to be attached.

Not going to post up stat blocks, as that would be redundant from my storefront...
CM-38.
A belt or box mag fed assault weapon that fires a powerful 6.5 x 55 mm cartridge.
Not a bad sniper weapon either, since the 6.5 it shoots is pretty flat and you can swap in an extra long barrel and cartridges that use slower burning/high efficency powders.
Strengthened specifically to handle the HM-320 underbarrel weapons system.
--------
HM-320.
An accessory that has a 40 mm bore, can fire oversize projectiles, but kicks like a mule when it does. Normally used to fire regular 40 mm, can handle high velocity grenades. Smoothbore.
--------
HAP series PDW/SMG/Pistol.
A pretty darn useful gun, can be expanded to be used as a skelotonized assault rifle (not meant to take stresses of firing HM-320), better suited for people who can't stuff an AR down their pants.
I suppose now you want links, that or became dissinterested as soon as I said I won't give stats in this post.

The M26 is designed for a caseless round, so lacks an ejection port, barring a manual port on the underside of the weapon. The feed system is also poorly suited to a circular cartridge, as opposed to the standard square caseless round. However, with sufficient motivation, we can most likely refit the weapon to fire standard cased rounds.
OOC: READ: Sure, but it'll cost ya more. It'll hold considerably less ammunition, weigh a good chunk more, and be a bit less reliable (I'm not precisely sure how well a G11 style action/feed will handle brass, and for all I know, it won't). PRA weapons are pretty much built from the ground up around a caseless round, so changing that will cause a few issues.
Bynamar: Isn't the Type 56 just a Chinese AK-47 monkey model? And why in God's name would you mix Western and Soviet Bloc equipment at such a basic level? Would be hell on logistics...

Th Ares III Assault Rifle is the current standard weapon of SaintB's infantry and is used in several other nations. It is typically chambered for 5.56 x 855 NATO Ammunition but is also capable of using 6.5 x 45 Fangible. Its new molded fiberglass, aluminum, and carbon fiber construction makes it extremely lightweight and still durable. The Ares III is compatible with all standard accessories and features even greater range, cyclic rate, and muzzle velocity to give it a place on the 21st century battlefield. A new gas emissions system allows for superior recoil adjustment in burst and full auto modes so that the soldier is not forced to compensate further for the weapons light weight. The Ares III is capable of underwater fire and does not easily jam or misfire even in extreme conditions. A few new upgrades have been added in recent times to increase utiltity including a removable accesssory rack (So that another rack may be put in its place to mount another company's equipment, bayonet compatibility, and an optional squeeze safety on the pistol grip. The below statistics are for the 5.56 version.
