Sgt. Keela stood in a clearing in a forest near the Academy. A table with about 30 sniper rifles stood next to her. She was dressed in green military camo, her purple hair in a braid down her back. She silently waited for her students to arrive.

Star showed up to class wearing a Ghillie suit and carrying her Rifle
"reporting for class"said Star

Sgt. Keela never bothered to learn names. "Right, we'll just wait for everyone else to arrive so I don't have to make my annoncement ten times."

Dominic walked in, wearing his normal clothes but with a small device tied around his chest. It was a PADD. (Personal Anti Detection Device, it doesn't make you invisible, just hard to noticeable.) He bowed to the teacher and said, "Dominic Quincy."

Pat walked up to the group wearing a Ghillie suit as well. He had pre-fabbed it the night earlier with sentient plants and bushes to give the suit a more natural appearance.

Gerrak was somewhat amused by the walking bushes in this class, but tried not to laugh-these creatures were not Muri and could not know the ways of the hunter as the Muri did.
He recognised the female from Piloting and Driving-the woman the instructor had been so openly contemptuous of. He bowed low, as compensation for witnessing that, and greeted her. "Reddi to lurn now, Sarjent."

"Fall in, get in ranks, maggots." Keela barked. "We may not be in the military, but we are at a MILITARY SCHOOL, therefore you will adrress me as Sgt." She pointed to the sniper rifles. "You will all recieve these rifles, try them out. Then I will tell you today's lesson."

Gerrak studied the rifle-one was sized for him, doubtless at the request of Instructor Fay, and seemed in good condition. He remained contemptuous of the slugthrowers, but didn't mind using them for practice-his sling was more suited to sniper work, but he knew how to deal with these. He checked the barrel to see if it held a silencer and flash suppresser.

Pat immediately snapped to attention at the sound of the Sergeants voice. He was used to this and felt right at home. Taking two step forward he picked up a rifle. Pulling the bolt back he saw that the rifle were not loaded so he picked up a clip and walked over to the line and laid down in a prone position where he loaded the clip into the reciever. Looking down range he spotted white targets. Using the range finder option on the scope of the gun Pat called out "Sergeant, Target in sight, Range 500 meters, is the range hot?"

"These rifles are gas-operated, magazine-fed weapon. It is issued with a smart-linked scope with two levels of magnification, 2x and 10x. Also, while still in zoom mode you can press the White button on the side to active light amplification. It fires 14.5 armor piercing fin-stabilized discarding-sabot rounds, The 14.5x 114mm APFSDS round is an anti-materiel munition. It can easily over-penetrate several armored soldiers, and has a flash suppresser. However, we will be using Stun shots for todays exercise. You and you" she pointed to Star and Gerrak, "are the Hunters. You and you," she pointed to Dominic and Pat "are the Hunted. You will all be given sniper rifles. The Hunted will get a 1 minute head start. Then the Hunters go in. I will be observing though a series of hidden cameras and drones. Both Hunters objective is to down their target as quickly as possible. The Hunted must camoflauge themselves and either evade their hunter for the time allowed, 15 minutes, or shoot the Hunter. The Hunters or Hunted may work together, but they can only shoot their partners. Hunters are limited to 5 shots, Hunted to two. Good luck."

Pat jumped up from where he was lying and swung the rifle over his back. He then grabbed Dominic and ran for the thicket on the edge of the clearing. "Dom please tell me your an expert marksman with these things!" He pointed at the rifles. "Cuz i gotta tell you, Assault rifle im good with, pistols im good with but these things im just average."

Keela looked at Gerrak. "Get going, man!"

Gerrak watched his friends-he corrected himself-the prey as they scattered for hiding. He could easily follow them with Darksense and their scents made them even more apparent. He bounded into the woods on all fours-and disappeared. It was time for them to know what it was to be the prey of a Muri.

Pat sprinted to the trees. Thats when he heard the howl. As he turned around he saw Star, Running all out, she easily was about to overtake him. He wasn't scared so much as surprised, "Well kitty's got claws" he thought to himself. It didn't really change his plan so much as it made it more difficult to obtain. He continued to sprint towards what he hoped would be his saving grace. As this thought finished he stopped abruptly. No sound, no smell, and he couldn't hear anything. However his 6th sense told him that Star wasn't too far away from him. Not wasting time he took off for a clearing that was roughly 1.2 clicks east of him.

OOC: my bad i took a guess, guess i was off. Thought she might be feeling the thrill of the hunt and gotten down on all fours. But wait arent u the hunter? me the hunted? anyway is Star more of a lichen or a werewolf in the sense that she turns into a wolf?

OOC:if it's got a strap I hardly need to have it at ready. Gerrak's in his element here-he's a Stone Age hunter who's lived off the land for twelve years in a swamp or jungle environment where to be seen was to be eaten. He's tagged the prey-sorry, Dominic and Pat-by their heartbeats, and knows exactly where they are. If Star shifts, it'll throw him off just a little, but only if her heartbeat changes. The Ordo Zorak Zorani includes quite a few shapeshifters, so he'll adapt rapidly to that. Dropping to all fours was simply for speed-Gerrak is enjoying this and wants to play now. Good luck, guys-the Muri are like big cats and he's going to make you waste your shots first, then chase you around for the remaining time. BTW, he wouldn't be howling-he's an experienced hunter and won't alert the prey at all-though he may send his voice or toss rocks to make you think where he's where he's not. He respects Pat's marksmanship (see Targeting Practice) so he'll avoid him until he's fired twice-or shoot him from behind a blind right off the bat. I'll leave that to you, but realize this is the only class where Gerrak's got prior experience-and he's used to ducking animals to pick them off, not humans. Given that and his Darksense being largely an unknown quantity to the others, let's face it-he's holding all the aces.

OOC: no kidding its apparent that the hunters definitely hold 51 cards....but Pat has the last card that might balance things out a bit. and yea i know Gerrak didnt howl it was Star.

Pat burst to the trees and to his delight realized that his sense of direction had not diminished much. The game was sniping, and how do you win an unwinnable game? you change the game. Pat quickly entered the mock town urban area and sprinted to one of the buildings with a good view. He would hopefully pick one of the two hunters off before they got to him.

Gerrak was most pleased-Star had engaged Pat, the dangerous one, and had but four shots left. He knew Dominic had that delightful Spiker-but also that Sargeant had excluded those weapons from play.
Pat would doubtless save his shots until he had his target-Star was dead meat now, but predators are, by nature, polite. He would let them have their fun, hopefully with Pat losing a shot to Star before claiming her. Dominic needed to learn the fear of facing a Muri. He stayed upwind of the man, occasionally breaking a nearby limb of a tree to entice a snap-shot-while they had but five paint-pellets for their sticks, Gerrak had no reason not to use his sling to confuse the prey-no, this was Dominic, and the game was hide-and-seek. It was beyond the boundaries of the class, but it was good to know the Hunter could easily become the Hunted. Dominic was using a field to diffuse his scent and sight, but his heartbeat was constant-Gerrak would have to change that.
OOC:I'm assuming Dominic's field diffuses his scent, to throw off bloodhounds-since I sincerely doubt anyone has trained attack-bats, I doubt anything is stopping my Darksense-but correct me if I'm wrong.

"SHIT" yelled Pat as he dove behind a building. "She knew! Damn!" thought Pat. He thought he had been the only one to have seen the urban warfare center. O well he couldn't help it now. Using the butt of his rifle he busted out the window next to him and climbed into the building. He entered into a mock kitchen area. He took off his Ghillie suit, it would be no use in this urban environment. Then proceeded to check where Star had shot from. Using a piece of glass from the broken window and a mirror Pat tried to see where Star had taken the shot from. "Well she knows what shes doing ill give her that." Not wasting anytime he ran across the street and dove into the open door of the building across the way. Standing up Pat began to search for a suitable snipers nest.

Dominic stalked slowly through the thick scrub, moving slowly with deliberation. He carefully made sure to snap a path of twigs and make marks in a direction that goes away from a tall hill, an excellent sniper post. He then made just as careful not to make marks on the way back to the point. He lay down, breathed slowly, and unslung his sniper.

A bird flew down and landed next to him, curious at what Dominic was doing here. Dominic patted its head and then went back to keeping watch.

OOC: Despite what you see in the movies whenever a sniper fires a shot they always move. Thats sniper basics 101 never stay in the same spot after you fire. But if you still want to be in that spot i can change it

"well Pat click click boom"said Star as she blows a up building he was not in and move to a new stop

:eek: BOOOOOOM! The ground trembled and the building collapsed. Pat began to feel the first twinge of fear but he quickly pushed it back. The only way he was going to win was to stay aggressive. He went through out the house and began loking for explosives but found none. "Alright" sputtered Pat as he set up his nest inside the building. Being sure to make everything perfect Pat set up the table 4 feet inside the building so that Star would not be able to see him. He set up the rifle on top of it and using some towels and bed sheets he had found in the other rooms of the house, obscured the outline of himself and his rifle. Using 2x power magnification he began watching all the exits from the building he believed Star had shot from

Keela's tail flicked in irritation. Her drone, a small black droid, hovered above the destroyed building. Where in all the seven hells did Star get explosives? And who authorized them? She would have to have a talk with Star.

Dominic heard the explosion, and so did the bird. The small creature flew off skittishly, to the safety of the canopy. What the hell was that?

Pat stopped and thought for a little bit. He decided to reinforce the door that was at his back. Pat moved the kitchen stove in front of the inward opening door, Pat then began to stack stuff on top of the stove. Planning ahead Pat then tied a towel to the stove so that he could bring the entire stack down in case he needed to leave quickly.

Star place the Home made breaching Charge against the wall of the building where Pat was in blows ,throw in a flash-bang and tear gas grenades through the hole and then aims at Pat after they go off

No explosives, especially not ones large enough to bring down a building. No grenades. Pat, you'll get a 1 minute head start. Then the game will begin again."

Gerrak grimaced-whoever the damned fool setting off explosives was, they'd ruined his shot. The instructor seemed displeased as well, and restarted the exercise.
Feeling mischievous, he fired off two shots from his sling-one a pellet that would bring a small branch crashing down near Dominic, and the other a bird's egg Gerrak had looted from the nest that would strike Dominic squarely in the forehead when he turned to see the branch. The troll soon disappeared into the underbrush and was downwind as he heard the crack of the branch, and cursing. Ah well, if Dom didn't want to play Silly Buggers he shouldn't have tried that lame wolf call ploy.

Sgt. Keela shook her head. "Don't let it happen again. In a real combat situation, there are no rules. But this is a game, and you will play by my rules, or you won't play at all. Get going. We've got a game to finish." She left the building and melted away into the forest.

"Damn it" said Pat. He was upset because Star had once again gotten in front of him. That meant that at any time he was vulnerable to ambush. sighing Pat weighed his options. He had to make Star come to him. So naturaly he was going to stay in the mock-urban environment. But he decided to find a better sniping spot. Looking around he found the best spot. Jumping out of the second story building he immediately entered the sewer system.

She made two" as he dropped the flash bang onto the floor of the sewer. There was a blinding light and a concussion wave that was magnified by the close quarters they were in. Pat having known what he was going to do had closed his eyes and covered his ears. Then he used the same ladder he had used to get in to get out. Pushing the man hole cover back over he found a piece of rubble from the explosives and used it to cover the man hole. He knew tis wouldnt stop her but it would at least give him time to find a spot to snipe her from with out her seeing where he had gone to. Running to his sniper spot Pat laughed to himself. Wile placing the stun baton on the table he had been able to keep one of the Flash Bang grenades he had stolen from the table. Not one to congratulate himself he dismissed these thoughts. However he couldn't help but wonder how Star would feel finding the chocolate bar that he had put back into her pocket

The egg hit Dom in the face, he wiped it off. He sighed mentally and stood up crouched. He then began to slink away. Oh, how he hated conventional sniper rifles. He headed for the swamp area, where he might gain a slight advantage.

OOC: The "testing area" is huge, and has every type of terrain, thanks to terra-forming machines. A marsh, swampy area is about three miles west of Dom's current position.

Gerrak was casually shadowing Dom, when he noticed that Dom was headed towards a marsh. *Doesn't he know how treacherous those places are to his limited senses?* Gerrak thought.*Probably isn't aware it's there-well, games are games, but this could get serious.*
Reluctant to end the fun, he mournfully aimed for the small of his friend's back and squeezed the trigger...

The stun shot hit Dominic, bringing him down. His last thought was unrepeatable.

The pellet hit Dom in the leg, bringing him down. He swore and took cover behind a nearby tree and unslung his sniper rifle again. Looks like a standoff was in order. He pressed a small container on the PADD and took out a pair of Thermal Contacts and put them in. They would even the odds a bit.

Gerrak moved in and hrooned Dominic, seeing he was okay, just unconscious, he apologized to his friend:"Sawree, Dom'nik-but swamp no place for hoo-man. Yu kood git hurt."
Slinging Dominic over his shoulder, he scanned about-Pat had been in the Built Caves with Star on his heels-he headed that way, as stealthily as he could with his baggage.

Gerrak reached the instructor, he laid Dominic out. "I haff brot the prey to yu, Sarjent." He said, kneeling and touching his snout to the ground.

"Very good." said Keela, the highest praise you could recieve from her. "Record time. Just leave him here. I'll make sure the rabbits don't get him. You are free to try for the other Hunted."

Gerrak scented the air-Star and Pat had gone to the Built Caves, and Gerrak could follow. The thrill of hunting in such an alien environment was exciting. No obvious cover, but shadows stretched it's paved roads, and they were all Gerrak needed. Doubtless it would be more difficult if it were inhabited or active, but it was effectively a ruins, with only his prey and his teammate. In all his life, Dominic was the first thing he'd ever shot and not eaten-it vaguely bothered him that Pat would be the next.

"Mph" grunted Pat as he fell into the disgusting water at the bottom of the pipe. Fighting the black wall that was unconsciousness Pat idly wondered if his one minute grace period had passed that quickly.

"I couldn't have you drowning in sewer water on your first day." she muttered into his ear as she carried him out and layed him down beside the other unconcious human. She turned to Star and Gerrak. "Congratulations, you have both gotten your respective targets."

Gerrak was somewhat apprehensive about the status of Pat and Dominic. "How long dey zleep, Sarj?" he asked.

"I ain't sleeping. Damn I feel like I'm hungover, must of been a hell of a party." said Pat as he tried to sit up. Pat slowly began to regain his mental faculties and soon came to three realizations. One he had lost. Two his Gillie suit was buried in a pile of rubble. Three he smelled horrible. Turning towards Star Pat said "Could you of least escorted me out of the sewers before you shot me?"

Keela laughed. "It was your choice where you died, she just finished the job." She went over to Dominic and took out a small metal object and pressed it to his forehead. "He'll be coming around any minute now."

Dominic sat up and grimaced. He shook his arm and muttered, "How long I been out?"

"Fair enough." Mumbled Pat as he shakily stood up. "Well there is no need for this I guess. It's just gonna make me smell" he said as he took off his BDU jacket. He dropped it on the ground and it hit with a sickening splat. To his pleasure he realized the water proofing on his BDU's had help, his shirt and Dragon armor had not been dirtied by the foul liquid and thus did not smell.

Dominic sat up and grimaced. He shook his arm and muttered, "How long I been out?"
"Just a couple of minutes. You'll be fine." She looked around at her students. "Now we are going to play an alltogether different wargame. It's simple: Capture the Flag, Free for All. The Flag will be placed, by me, somewhere in the training area. It is a small package, and contains vital information. One of you must get it and return to the original starting point, whilst avoiding the other students viaing for the flag. This will test both your skill in ambushing the flag carrier and getting the flag to the safe area. Everyone gets 5 shots in their sniper rifles. This time, though, you are free to use flash-bangs, stun grenades, pain blades, hand-to-hand combat, and electrostaffs. I don't want to see any potentially lethal weapons, like spikers, blasters, or high-yield explosives." She said this last with a pointed look in Star's direction. "There is a catch: Hunter-killer robots armed with stun pistols will be patrolling the area. If they see you, they will chase and "kill" you. These are either little floating spheres or humanoid CIS battle droids. They can be taken out with stun shots, but flash-bangs and hand-to-hand combat will have no affect. You all have two minutes to find an area to start from whithin a 3 mile radias of here. Starting...now."
OOC: I will place the flag somewhere in the Urban center, deep in the sewers. It's surronded by hunter-killers.

"Damn it." He sprinted off, in no particular direction. He didn't want to get the flag, oh no. His training dictated he shouldn't. Rather, take out all possible hostiles before reclaiming objective. He stopped once he had reached sufficient cover and looked at his rifle. It was unlike the Carbines he was used to, instead firing bullets rather than concentrated shots of plasma. He looked at it scornfully, then sighed.

Gerrak had been rather good at "Stalk the Prey", a troll game where one troll was muzzled and had a chunk of meat tied to him, then allowed to hide in the cave complexes the adults deemed safe. The object was to find the prey and claim the meat, or elude the hunters and keep the meat. It was also sling practice, and adult supervisors served the same purpose of the drones-though not as noisy. The drones hummed louder than a hornet, which would make them easy to elude.
Sarge had said she'd hidden the packet, but she had only left to reprimand Star and Pat, then to retrieve Pat. Gerrak whiffed her scent, then ran off, hiding in the woods to loot more bird nests before tracking Sarge's trail.

Keela was already deep in the sewers, using nature and stealth to get there in minutes. She carefully placed the flag and activated the combat droids around it. Smiling to herself, she set up a couple of spy bots and left, leaving behind no more sign of herself than a few silky fox hairs.

Knowing the sarge couldnt have gone far Pat decided to stay in the urban environment, quickley and stealthily he set up a snipers spot in the urban environment.

Gerrak had gathered a good supply of eggs-he still disdained the slugthrowers, though they did serve their purpose, he supposed-if one were weak of limb enough to require them. He had found a patch of irritants and wolfbane, which he was casually rubbing himself down with to confound Star's sense of smell tracking him. The Sarge was a kitsune, he pondered. They were clever and tricky, swift to adapt and often thinking several moves ahead. Sarge knew Gerrak and Star could scent-she'd compensate for that, and hide her package near or under water. She was a fox, and that might give a clue or two-foxes were burrowers, and felt safest underground.
Underground and water meant one thing-the Built Caves, where Gerrak would not be as at home and invisible as the woodlands-somewhere beneath in the underground rivers. A place to confound Gerrak and Star's sense of smell and give Pat and Dominic a better chance. He'd need to find a different access-route than the small round holes he doubted he'd fit in, but there were large drains on the outskirts of the Built Caves.
A drone passed by a little too close, so Gerrak destroyed it with a sling stone and moved-to the rivers beneath the Built Caves.

The hover drone fell into shattered, sparking pieces on the ground. As it shut down, it's last act was to send out a distress call. Four more hover drones and two Hunter-killers immediatly made their best time for Gerrak's location. One Hunter-killer wielded a electro-staff, the other a stun rifle. While not at all stealthy, the hover drones possessed great accuracy with their built-in stun pistols and the hunter-killers were quite fast. Enough to pose a challenge to a human, but certainly not a kitsune: Or Gerrak or Star, for that matter.

The drones' gathering over their fallen member was noted by Gerrak, though he had moved on since. They had some sort of communications array, but Gerrak doubted he could take advantage of it. He and his huntbrothers would amuse themselves by disrupting the sonar of bats-or rather, what passed as bats on Pamaltela-and he was certain the same principle would work on machinery-he knew he could open a garage door if he hit the right frequency.
This alert system could be taken advantage of, however-it wouldn't be the first time Gerrak had stirred up a hornet's nest and tossed it into an enemy's camp.

"who in hell sends snipers to capture something you send troops for that"said Star as she blasted a over size Rat with her handgun as she move around the sewer

Pat had seen star enter the sewers and found that to be very interesting. He thought sarge would have been more original, but meh whatever. Pat herd the drone before he saw it so he quickly melted into the shadows and began tracking Star, from a distance.

OOC i like to know how you saw her as i did not say how she entered and seeing i post she moving around it and not entering it

Gerrak heard the sharp crack of a handgun. *Who could be shooting down here?*he thought.*Not Pat-too clever-wouldn't give away his location without an accompanying scream to show he'd dealt with a foe. That was a heavy caliber round, and it went through something-something small. Dominic? No--he's more knives, quiet and subtle like him. Which leaves Star-the twisted sociopath of our class. Probably blew away a harmless rat in a fit of pique*
He went into full stealth mode. Star was mentally unbalanced and emotionally stunted-it would not do to let her detect him. Facing a psychopath in dark cramped tunnels was not a thing he cared to do, but it seemed his lot. Cautiously, he crept along the edge of the sewer, alert for the slightest sign she was near.

Dominic began slowly moving deeper into the urban area. Holding a LasPistol, modified to fire non-lethal shots, then dropped into the sewer systems. He immediately heard a gunshot. He moved carefully, listening for any echoed sounds of footsteps or speech, turning on his PADD.

The gunshot had attracted more than other hunters. A curious hover drone moved quickly over to the position.

OOC: First off, yes pistol can be heavy caliber, look at the Israeli Desert Eagle, it uses a .50 caliber round, second yes .454 would be considered a heavy round seeing as the m16 Rifle uses a 5.56mm round which in essence makes it a beefed up .22, AK-47 use the 7.62mm round which is a .306, basicly your pistol is a larger round than the AK or M16...Lastly what are the properties of this suit, because last time i checked you were in a Gillie suit, which, as im sure you know, is not invisible. And as a side note, moving bushes tend to catch the eye.


IC: Pat could sense the raw oozing power of something nearby, it gave off the feeling of a big cat stalking its prey. Pat assumed it was Gerrak because he had sensed it before coming off of him. This troubled Pat, not only was Gerrak in the tunnels, but also this was the exact environment that he knew Gerrak thrived in, dark, wet, noises echoing. Pat decided to wait a little bit he didn't want Gerrak to "feel" him behind Gerrak. So Pat went the way of the ambush predator, he waited for the opportune time.

OOC so i can't have a FT Gillie suit with a Cloaking Device and what moving bushes, she just walk through a wall there be no moving bushes

Dominic rolled out of the path of the laser, adusting the laspistol to fire EMP shot then returned fire with it.

The conditions in the sewer, dark, damp, suited him perfectly. It was just like outside Zone Alpha, the Cave Fire Swamp. Noises echoed, so you had to move with stealth and deliberation. Some of your prey could see better than you in the dark, so you had to be careful. Just like home, except it stank.

OOC: A Gillie suit looks like a bush, so if your suit makes you invisible why the hell would you even need something like a Gillie suit, just use the damn cloaking. So lemme get this straight, you are invisible and you can walk through walls? How the hell did she walk through a wall? That makes you damn near impossible to kill, and for that fact if you could walk through walls why did you need a breaching charge to take out Pat when he was in the room?

The sewers were rife with activity-Gerrak mournfully acknowledged his logic was far too slow, as he seemed to be the last one here. His objective was to find Sarge's packet and extract himself, not engage in folly with his classmates. *Now*, he thought, *If I were a fox, where would I hide my pretties?*
The drones guarding-that was the secret-he must center to find the sound of a quiescent drone, and avoid his classmates as he did-however, the thrill of pitting them against each other would amuse him until he did. It was time to lay traps in the sewers, simple snares and egg-tossers. He also needed to see if any of these pipes were active-a bit of steam to throw off his heat signature would be valuable, especially as he was not relying on technology. *This isn't about who's the biggest badass*, he reminded himself,*Just the sneakiest bastard*

"Gerrak toll loser and race scared of fire and light what a joke" said Star as she drop a flash bang as she moves into the wall

Pat walked up to the wall that he had just seen Star walk through. He sighed and continued walking down the pipe. *With the to do that, how the hell are we supposed to win?* thought Pat

Gerrak returned to the table where Sgt. Keela was observing through her drones. "Me sowree, but me must drop clazz. Me dink me lurn mush frum yu, but Pamaltela haz mayd dezizion me muzt not ztay heer. Diz clazz now forbidden me."
Laying his weapons down, he walked away.

Keela frowned. She had actually liked having the troll in her class. "Very well. Good Luck, Gerrak." She walked up to him and looked him up and down, really looking at him for the first time. Unaware of troll ettiquite, she asked. "Is it permissible for me to touch you, Gerrak?"

Pat began to notice increased drone activity. He assumed he was getting closer, but there was no definite way to tell.

A hunter-killer picked up Pat's live signs several tunnels away. It began to creep after him, electro-staff held in hand, waiting for the oppertune moment to strike...

Pat thought that there was no way he could go through that way without being spotted. So he turned around to try and find another route. As he turned he realized he was not alone. Moving towards him a couple yards away was a droid.
Pat speedily pulled out his silenced USP. He double tapped the droid where he thought something vital would be.

The hunter-killer shot out a stream of unheard binary, which, if droids had emotions, would be considered annoyance. It whirled and struck with speed at Pat, the electro-staff buzzing.
OOC: Check TGs please.

Pat back peddled to dodge the attack. The .45 pistol was useless so he holstered it and pulled out his electrified night stick. Twirling the stick around and around Pat attacked with lighting speed. Seeing that his attacks were only pushing the droid back Pat hit it once with all his strength then took off down the tunnels, firing his pistol on the run as he had been trained to do.

One of the droid's arms dangled, useless. It gave the robot equvilent of a shrug and took off after Pat, the bullets bouncing off it's metal body. It unhostered a stun pistol and, taking careful aim, fired at Pat's retreating back. At the other end of the tunnel two drones curiously floated down the sewage line, scanning the area.

Pat noticed the droid make a strang motion behind him as he was running. His sixth sense told him to dive so he did, right around the corner of a tunnel that was in between him and the 2 droids at the end of the tunnel. Pat actually felt the air rush by as the stun bolt passed 1 inch above his back. *That was too close* thought Pat

The stun bolt whizzed by and hit one of the drones. It went down in a shower of sparks and burst of emergency bianary. The other drone fired at Pat, but the bolt missed widely. The hunter-killer lunged forward egarly, it's electro-staff causing sparks along the walls.

Pat continued running until he came to another tunnel. He skidded around the corner and entered the tunnel which had water coming out of it. *This will make things easier, I hope* thought Pat

The drone speeded ahead while the hunter-killer went down a side tunnel. The drone was locked onto Pat's body heat signiture, always just a few yards away, but too far away for an accurate shot. The hunter-killer shot out of a tiny tunnel barely big enough for it and targeted Pat. It leaped forward with surprising agility, it's electro-staff hissing like an angry snake. Sooner or later Pat would either take down the robots- Or be taken down by them.

OOC:Pat didnt run down the tunnel
IC: Completely hidden under neath the muck and water Pat waited. When the drone passed over him he thrust his combat knife up into the underbelly of the droid. Pat then pulled his knife out and pulled his pistol out aiming for the slice his knife had just made "Goodnight" Pat said as he fired 4 shots into the droid. "

The drone fell into shattered pieces, sparks hissing as they hit the water and smoke rising to the top of the tunnel. In another tunnel the hunter-killer looked around in confusion. It walked down the tunnel Pat was hiding in and stepped right over him, intent on continuing it's search for hostile life-forms.

Pat didn't move. For one he figured the Hunter Killer would be much harder to kill and two he didn't want to attract any more attention. Though it was tempting Pat didn't engage the droid that walked over him.

The hunter-killer walked down the tunnel and away, turning down a side tunnel and vanishing. Keela, who had direct communications with each student when in the field, spoke up. "Good work, Pat. Go for the package."

Pat nodded. crawling through the filth and muck Pat made it back to the tunnel with all the droid activity. Most the droids were gone, looking for him he assumed. Still not taking chances Pat lowered himself into the water, making sure to make no sound and not a ripple. Swimming slowly underwater Pat made it to the chamber. On a pedestal was the package, a small metal case. However Pat wasn't looking at the package, he was looking for more hunter killers.

OOC: are there more hunter killers in the chamber

OOC: But of course. Two are standing on either side of the package, and another two are hidden in the shadows. Four drones are placed at various intervals around the room.
IC: One of the hunter-killers moved down the main tunnel, away from the package. It's hearing scanners had detected noises, but it's origins were unknown. Another hunter-killer, a arm dangling uselessly, walked up the main tunnel and stood guard.

Pat laughed inside his head at the droid with the hurt arm *So we meet again* thought Pat. Seeing one of the droids move towards him Pat slowly and silently slipped under water. Once there he let himself be 500 meters down stream. Once he had reached a certain spot he stopped and looked around for other droids. Then he silently hauled himself out of the water. Now that he knew the general location of the "package" he could use his sense of direction to lead him to it. Of course he was going to be patient. Using mud, filth and debris around him Pat began transforming himself into another pile of disgusting debris, making sure to cover every inch of himself so as not to give off a heat signature, and to hopefully muffle his heart beat. Once this was done Pat finally pulled out his sniper rifle. Zeroing in on the injured Hunter Killer, Pat steadied his breathing and his mind. He counted on two things, one the robots inability to sense anything and two the shock of having one of their own shot. Slowly Pat fixed his mind on the mission. Pat slowly pulled the trigger *One for the money* Pat thought as the rifle fired. Moving as fast as he could Pat pulled off his shirt and left in the muck then he took sprinted down a tunnel that he had spotted before hand.

The shot was spot-on. It hit the robot in the head, the stun-ion shot scrambling it's electronic brain and causing it to fall into a jerking heap. The other robots tensed, waiting for more fire, but none came. In their cold way, they logically analyzed what had happened and remained at guard. A drone and a hunter-killer were quickly dispatched to invesigate the source of the fire. All they found was a dirty shirt. The drone and hunter-killer made their way down the tunnel. If they did not encounter their target whithin the next ten minutes, they would return to their posts.

Pat took lefts and rights and lefts and rights, all the wile heading up stream. 2 minutes later he arrived 200 meters upstream of the chamber. The tunnel curved slightly so Pat was going to have to shoot through a space one foot wide to hit a hunter killer that was in the chamber. *O well, its completely do-able*. Pat looked down at his person. He only had his pants and his Dragon armor left. Deciding if he was going to do this he might as well doit all the way he removed his pants before he got into firing position. Taking good aim, he relaxed, and fired. After that he slowly slipped into the water and submerged.

OOC: Don't worry Pat is not getting naked for the hell of it. He thinks that if he gives the Droids clues they will stay gone longer. He's not completely naked anyway, Dragon armor is similar in design to a pair of long-johns so hes completely covered.

OOC: It's alright, nudity is quite common on Xiscapia, just not in schools of course.
IC: The bolt hit the second hunter-killer in the leg. It fell and was nearly submerged in the dirty water, keeping part of it's head and a hand above water. It struggled, thrashing about, sending water everywhere. A hunter-killer was forced to reveal itself from the shadows and help the injured droid onto "land" (the stone around the package) and set it down. While immobile, the droid could still target and shoot, but it was unable to use it's electro-staff due to it's hampered movement.

Dominic staked along, until he saw the two hunter killers around a corner. Taking out the makeshift EMP grenade, he turned the small dial on the laser cell. He then tossed it at the HK droids. The grenade would explode on impact, not making much of a noise but certainly making a bright blue flash for a few seconds. He then stole back into the shadows.

Pat made a mental note of the other H&K's location. He then submerged again and went down stream. This time he passed the location of his first firing position, and continued down stream. About 850 meters from the chamber Pat stopped. Being sure to stay quiet he hauled himself out of the filth. Using debris nearby he once again turned himself into another pile of disgusting debris. Checking the time he noted that it had taken him 11 minutes to travel roughly 1.1 kilometer in the water. Then he waited. He didn't want to use up his last three shots, so he would let the other participants do a little damage. Besides, he had been trained that snipers worked in pairs, so what if the partner was unaware of the situation.

Dominic walked through the darkness, beside the sewage. He saw a faint silhouette, and raised his gun and edged closer. It didn't seem to be a drone or HK. He moved closer, then raised his gun. He made out the silhouette. It was Pat. He said, quietly but still loud enough to hear if you were close by, "Hold Fire."

Dominic staked along, until he saw the two hunter killers around a corner. Taking out the makeshift EMP grenade, he turned the small dial on the laser cell. He then tossed it at the HK droids. One of the HKs went down, but the other was merely stunned by the EMP blast. It took a few seconds for it to recover, but it martched off down the tunnel. Presently in heard a single organicly made audio signal: "Hold Fire." It turned the corner and saw it's query, talking to a pile of filth. It sent out a call for help before activating it's electro-staff and moving forward.

Dominic saw the HK, and rolled to the side, out of the way of a violent sweep. He then shot a number of EMP shots into the HK before activating his PADD and moving away quickly.

The EMP, while damaging, was not enough to stop the droid. Tracking by body heat, it twisted and saw it's target was gone. It hurried down the tunnel in pursuit.

Dominic swapped his LasPistol back to high yield, enough to cut through a Toclaphane. He then turned and fired a volley at the leg's of the droid.

The leg was sliced off and the droid fell into the murky, dirty water. It used it's good arm to throw it's electro-staff with accuracy at the retreating human.

Dominic dived down and the whirring staff flew over his heard. It impacted off the wall and landed in front of him.He got back up and checked his PADD. It had been damaged slightly. He groaned. Guess I'm going normally.

Pat thought quickly. Then, deciding, he got up. Silently walking over the legless droid Pat plunged his knife into a hydrolic tube, severing it. Looking at Dominic Pat said "We gotta go, right now." Hauling Dominic to his feet Pat told him to stay under water and not to make sound before he plunged into the water.

Don't make a noise? Then why the splash? Dom shook his head, then lowered himself into the water, following Pat. He reset his LasPistol to EMP.

Being sure that Dom was following him Pat swam rapidly down stream. Poking his head out of the water Pat saw a tunnel leading off to the left. Tapping Dom Pat pointed at the opening and motioned for them to go inside. Once inside Pat began preparing a snipers nest. "You guard the entrance we just came in. Ill guard that way. If anyone comes in either way shoot first ask questions later"
