There are much more important data threads that are needed in NS, but I agree that this is somewhat important, especially in war times when prejudice and racism is at an all time high.

"Clandonian"

Tis' used to denote stupidity, large amounts of it, also used when you need to compare mindless drones to something else (I.E. "These Zerglings are worse than Clandonians!").

Its what others call your country that your country finds extremely offensive/degrading.

"Clanny or Clandy", referring to the natives, government and policies of Clandonia Prime, particularly when these are aggresive or expansionist.

Imp: under the fascist regime, they conquered all of modern Mokastana, it is a variation of Imperial, only Imp can also mean short devil like thing...
Monkey: variant of Mokan, short dumb creature, Mokans tend to be a little shorter if you haven't noticed

Mejican: Main lander
Terrorist: after the conquest of the Mejico nations the islanders called the mejicans terrorist due to their hit and run tactics
Sizzlers: the desert in Mejico is hot and not humid at all so its like they are cooking.

PAs: Party animals, Neuvo Orleans, the Capital of Tierra Nueva, think about it

In Magic Sorcery, Muggle is considered to be a very derogatory term. (Don't know if that will work because it's a RL phrase) Mortal is the socially acceptable term.

A Dark-Used to describe a person who is of a Shadow/Dark Element or dwells and raves in the practice of Dark Magic.

Vetalians don't really have ethnic slurs; we look solely at individual success and so don't really form stereotypes on an ethnic level, as per the meritocratic underpinnings of our culture. However, we are blatantly elitist on the basis of wealth and personal success; a poor nation will be viewed as inferior regardless of the conduct of its citizens, and a wealthy nation will be viewed as an equal or even as a superior if they are sufficiently wealthy and powerful.

When traveling abroad, our citizens will sometimes claim to be Allanean or Red Tidean to avoid the stigma associated with our culture in certain countries. However, our more nasal Vetalian Russian will usually expose us in due time. Sometimes, foreigners will claim to be Vetalians simply for the good impression it will make in nations that admire our culture or are close allies of our state. It also suggests the person in question is wealthy, which can be helpful in and of itself.

In Waldenburg there are several ones that are used commonly:

For A Liberal: Godless Swine and Plague of Humanity (It's a slur....)
For A Heretic (Anyone from a different Country): Blezesplatter, or Deafrunner
For A Holy Man outside Waldenburg: God Botherer (Unless you happen to be non-Christian in which case there's quite a lot more)

For A Denizen of North Waldenburg: Bordertoucher (Usually accompanied by the phrase Ewwww.....)
And For Waldenburg In general: WaldenbErg (It's a "U" you bastards! *Shakes fist vaguely at passing figures*)

The only one used on me by another nation was: Meatheads (In reference to Walden'burger', and implied them ham headedness of a particular general, Sir Loin, at the famous battle of Brattenburg. *Ashamed of Meat Jokes*

Kiravian soldiers, comedians, and news commentators have reffered to:

Cnians(BhuddaC) were nicknamed "Buddha Bellies" and "Bhoodies" by Kiravian forces in Nova Pictavia.[No OOC offence meant, BuddhaC}

Nickname for Kroandons [Never Uttered by Kroandons, nor inside Kroando]

-Snowmen- Kroandon Legionnaires have a standard white military uniform and camo outfit, due to Kroando's native environment being covered in snow. Though they do not have ball like figures, they are rather bulky due to their thick layers of clothing.

-Kroknot- Used by Kroandons to call other Kroandons dimwitted, lazy or slothful. Usually used in reference to teenagers, but also applied to some older degenerates.

-Ark- Used by Kroandons to refer to the natives of Antartika, a harsh, racist term rarely used due to the small number of natives still left. NOTE. Kroandons are not native Antartikans.

Kiravians are often called:

K'rucks-Used primarily by Colonists and other citizens outside of Kirav proper to refer to non-colonial Kiravians.

Albinies-Slang for "Albino", due to our pale complexion.

Greenies-Because of our environmentalism and the fact that green is our main clothing colour.

Krats-Used by our enemies. Derived from our form of government "civilocracy"/"civilocrats". Conveniently sounds like "krauts"

Kiravian troops in the Bloody Sunday War turned the demonym for the Ryou Black Islands into a derogatory question. I.E.: "Ryou so stupid?" as a phonetic varient of "Why you so stupid?" [No offence meant to Ryou, as the war is long gone]

In New Harbour, the Echoese(Far Echo Islands) citizens are reffered to by Kiravian settlers as "Echs", "X", or "Echies"

Ashlicker- Native of the Jigoku province. The name stems from Jigoku's predominant terrain feature, a volcanic desert. The coloration of the sand is quite similar to that of wood ash, and residents who spend much time outside are often coated in a thin layer of the fine gray sand. The climate also tends to promote chapped lips, leading many residents to commonly lick their lips. Extremely rude, usage frowned upon by much of the population.

Birdbrain- Pale Rider Arms corporate citizen. Refers to PRA CEO Daniel Quetzal's last name. Common usage, generally accepted by the populace.

Fishfucker- Far Echo Islander. Refers to that nation's policy on dolphin sentience, which is widely considered insane by most Otagians. Stems from idle (and completely baseless) conjecture on what else the Islanders might do with their dolphin compatriots. Extremely rude, and usage is frowned on by most of the population. Popular amongst naval personnel and members of the merchant marine.

My nation has an odd procreation system. Those that are born scientifically from a gene pool are the Trueborn, who are considered the highest ranking in the Caste system, and are the only ones allowed a 100% chance to become a warrior. Then there's the freeborn, who are born from the womb of a woman. These are the slurs that they use.

Neither of these are in use inside Russkya outside of a few ultranationalists, because the nations to which they are related share very good relations with Russkya and are well respected by the general populace - hence, good relations.

The slurs are as follows:

Kilrany - Sviasuki. Derived from the name of the current Emperor (Sviatov) and currently utilized most frequently in Triari by resistance elements and probably other neighbouring countries since annexed by the Kilrany, sviasuki is a pluralized form of sviasuka. The second element is the Russian word for "Bitch" (Suka, pronounced Soo-kah. Plural Soo-key), so when translated from informal/slang to proper Russian and then to proper English, it would translate as "Sviatov's Bitch" or "Sviatov's Bitches."

- ADASIZO: An acronym combining the Russian phrase for "Temporary Holding Center" (SIZO) with the word for Hell (Ada) and pronounced "Ah-dah-Sea-Zoh." This is generally applied to members of the Kilrany Imperial Guard 5th Division, who are respected/feared (usually the latter) by damn near everyone and the (apparently usually correct) belief that being incarcerated by 5th Division is a rather unpleasant experience. In Russia itself, SIZOs are a hotbed of all the worst things you think go down in prison, compressed in space and guarded by completely apathetic guards. Prisoners can spend up to three years in a SIZO, if not more, simply awaiting their hearing, let alone trial.

Aequatio - Quatsch: Thanks to Russkya's currently emigrating large Germanic demographic, it came to the attention of the Russkyans that a common Germanic language slur against the Aequatians derived from the Berliner slang word for "Rubbish," "Trash," "Bullshit," et cetera, which is "Quatsch." Again, much like ADASIZO or Sviasuki, this is not used inside Russkya outside a few ultranationalist domociles.

Come to think of it, I've never fought a real, prolonged conflict with any nation for any reason. I don't even have any stereotypes for my armed forces because nobody ever sees them...

Now, bureaucrats and high-ranking officials surrounded by guards is another thing entirely.

Fish n****r - Derogatory term for Doomani, alluding to their Catholic faith. Used less frequently to refer to Catholics in general.

Hatarian - (Used mainly by the anti-Hatarian minority) A mentally retarded person. Generally used by racist, uneducated people living in slums.

I almost forgot. People from other places often call the Stoklomolvi Military Police Force (SMPF) the good police that kill innocents, the oppressors, and the evil grey murderers, in reference to the fact that Stoklomolvi has a capital punishment in place. (Those who know Stoklomolvi know a bit deeper, but I'll leave it as this.)

Iansisle's status as a colonial power has led to an extreme proliferation of slurs for people from one part of the empire or another. Following is an example of what Iansisleans commonly call each other:

Ian, or the Ians: Not really derogatory, more similar to how 'Yankee' is used by the Americans. Used for pretty much anyone in the Republic, though most commonly eastern Shieldians. In use -- "And after lunch, we'll meet with the Ians' delegation."

Kuliker: An extremely derogatory term for a Tharian living on the Shield (or, more generally, anyone of a darker complexion than the average Shieldian). In use -- "Those damn kulikers leech money straight out of our pockets!"

Hollywack: An extremely derogatory term for a native Dianatranian (or, more generally, anyone of a darker complexion than the average Tharian). In use -- "The lancers thought they were home free, having counted without the cunning of the hollywack ambushers."

Galler: A mildly derogatory term for a native Gallagan. In use -- "Of course the Gallers aren't ready for independence! Politically, they're little more than bright children."

Nushie: Mildly derogatory term a Shieldian living in Gallaga. Most often used by native Gallagans, occasionally by Shieldians living outside of Gallaga. Comes from a native corruption of the New Shield colony. In use -- "We'd be out of this quagmire by now if not for those stubborn Nushies." or "The Nushie came, practically enslaved us. Now we just want what is ours!"

Normarcher: Extremely derogatory term for someone from the northern reaches of the Shield. In use -- "'Course those normarcher barbarians support the King -- they could hardly know any better!"

Regicide: Extremely derogatory term for those ardent revolutionaries who voted to execute King James. Used mostly by royalists within Iansisle, but occasionally by foreign powers to refer to the Republic in general. In use -- "There can be no peace until every last regicide is removed from power!"

Jim boys: Extremely derogatory term for those ardent royalists who still cling to the hope of returning Iansisle to a monarchy. Mostly used by republicans within Iansisle (note: that 'republican' has a small 'r', meaning that it refers to people who support a republic, NOT the American political party). In use -- "Of course them damn Jim boys can't give up dreamin' of the past -- it's the only world that still fits in their comfortable delusion."

"Azodist" - someone who does not kneel before Zod. The offensive equivalent would be "Halloweeners", because Azodists do not kneel before Zod, and neither did Superman (called "the son of Jor-El" by Zodists), and Zodists associate Azodists with Superman, even to the point of accusing them of dressing like him, which (if you're not Superman) is kind of like wearing a Halloween costume, though they do NOT dress like Superman.

I think it's more confusion over what I was trying to get across than anything... we don't have slurs for other nations, just terms for people of different wealth and status. However, for foreigners, "Vetalian" in a negative context would have a general connotation of greed/decadence/opportunism...

In Vetalia, being called "Vetalian" would be quite a compliment, especially for a foreigner (unless they despise us, that is). But outside of the country, the situation is reversed.

Internal Slurs:

MeatPuppet(and variants there-of): Used to describe all personnel below the rank of Major of the Red Tidean Military. Used even within the military. Derived from two factors: A: their numbers, B: their seemingly mindless ability to attempt to follow orders to the letter. Variants include: Pilotpuppets(obvious), SailorPuppets(obvious), tankpuppets(tank crewmen), etc.

Machinepuppet: A term used for Red Tides elite conventional shocktroops(official name: The Current Gaurd Sector). Term comes from their mindless ability to obey orders to the letter and their steel battlesuits that make them look a little like robots. Unlike Meatpuppet and its variants, the term is used rarely.

DreadReapers: Used by various Rebel groups to describe Intellegince-Commissarat Commissars(the Red Tidean Intel Agency/Federal Agency/Secret Police hybrid). Comes from their tendency to make dissidents dissappear into the night quietly.

SuperSurfers: Used by rebels too refer to Red Tidean Special Forces Operatives. Term comes from their official name(The Tidal Wave Sector), these guys are so good, that the rebels extrapolate their name to the fact that they might be able to surf a Tidal Wave.

Slaughtermen: A rebel term for members of the Intellegince-Commissarat Subsector-G(referred to by the IC as G-Men). These guys are taken away from their parents at birth and raised too be assassins and interrogators. Most are sadistic and take pleasure in eliminating their targets with maximum casualties to the enemy, usually with explosives.

'Pretty Girls': Rebel term for the Red Tidean Media, which is entirely state run and filled with pro-Red Tidean propoganda. Comes from the fact that Red Tide like sto staff their news anchors with attractive(to say the least) young women.

Forgotten: Term for the original natives of the Red Tidean land who have become a severe minority. Nobody remembers the name of their actual ethnicity.

OOC: Sorry if these seem strong but my IC nation has been in war after war for at least a century. Most South Lizasaurians are taught to hate the nation's common enemies.

Steelians are commonly known as athletic, racist, atheist gun owners with no particular respect for human life ("Go back to sleep, Timmy, it's just a little bomb.") and a peculiar overweening concern for their own appearances. The average Steelian is thought of as intolerant of opposing political views; usually s/he is assumed to be a Randist or Machiavellian. Ethnic Steelians bear a strong resemblance to Minnesotans, down to the accent.

I can't think of any slurs for them right now; and I haven't really roleplayed enough to have others who'd think of them. So meh.

Hopa: Shortened form of Holy Paradisian, considered somewhat offensive. Most common one used by enemies.

Angel-lover: Angel is the national animal, so, it is quite offensive.

Do-Gooder: a bleeding heart nation/person. Someone who always wants to do what is best for others. Someone with too much morality.
Nix: Someone who does not live in a city.
Leech/Weed/Dev/Toie/Gret/Juppi/Qwal: A foreigner (Generic term. None specific to any particular place)
Smit: Someone who works in Mining (esp. the oil trade)
Spook: Someone in government/A government worker, never actually used to someone's face. Used when talking about them.
Watcher: Someone in A.M.A.P.P.M.I. again never actually used to anyone's face, comes from A.M.A.P.P.M.I's old name PeopleWatch
Bolly: A liberal/communist/democratic/Left wing/anarchist

Coley: Someone who is only serving their compulsory service and intends to leave afterwards

Dev/Toie: Foreigner who joined the Fictions army (Can also be used to describe any foreigner in general)

Skib: A common abbreviation used by outsiders for Skibereenians, the most formal proper adjective being Irysh-Finegall. The next being Skibereenian. Irysh-Finegalls find the abbreviation Skib to be very offensive.

DogKicker, Kicker: A slur used against Skibereenians during the Fyreheart-Ferrusian conflict. It relates to the drunken temper stereotypically suggested about in Skibereenian culture.

Apronboys: A slur derived from the Erinin War it is in reference to the allowing of Skibereenian women in combat it suggests the men hide behind their women's aprons.

Pigmies: Erinin War origin. Addressing Skibereenians of African heritage. The suggestion was that the Black Irysh fought less honorably then the White. The use of this slur is to this day considered a verbal assault, and under the law physical force is justified retaliation(up to lethal force).

Papists: Most of the Christians in Skibereen are of the Skibereen Orthodox Church, they find the label Papist to be insulting.

Bicks- Offensive slang refering to any Belkan person
Belkies- Not offensive so much as general slang for Belkans, used often by Belkan allied nations
Mundusbators- Used both outside and inside Belkaros, referring to those who fanatically follow the emperor.
