The Imitators are a parisitic virus like cell that take over the body of almost any biological entity it encounters. It imitators the cells its surrounded with, then it assimilates the others, because the the other cells cant tell which is which, the body is helpless. The Imitators have one home planet(similar to the thing), it is covered in ice, the planet is designated P3X-000 by North Calaverian Observers. The race is very old, when the world had a ice age that never thawed the Imitators were frozen, but due to the extreme cold there were preserved, only a few have managed to escape, mostly through North Calaverian scientists, but these were killed soon. Its goal is to survive and convert. There is currently one ship in orbit over the world, it is a a NC probe fighter, with a NC man that is assimialted.

Weopons

The imitators have the remarkable ability to change from the speacis it has taken to developing claws, tails, teeth, mandibles, in a remarkable amount of time, this is due to the cells shedding there imitation.

They also will use the weopons of the races they have taken or anything that is availible.

The Imitators ONLY mission is to survive and convert biological specieas, this includes taking planets. NC scientists believe that if the imitators manage to take a world, it wont be very violent struggle depending on the alertness of the enemy. Most likely the the imitators will keep the technology and everything else running as it did before.

I wouldn't want anything. I'm more afraid than anything, because they've more ships and bigger ships than I and they're effectively going to want to wipe me out, it seems.

It would never be accepted. Your people, the Imitators, survive by killing and taking control. It's an ambomination. If you took over bodies of non-sentiant creatures, or inhabited the mainframes of computers or droids, then yes, such an alliance would be possible. But in their current state? Never.

THey dont kill for no reason, they only kill if they are threated to death, they assimilate, there could be an agreement, like say, that current imitators may live, but no more assimlating of Xscipian or Alvo forces, i could get hosts from other systems.

Any chance of them pro-creating with each other? Instead of having the threat of assimilation permenantly on our shoulders is not something the Alversians will tolerate. It would only take one.

The implications between this and Halfbreeds is staggering.
Can the Imitators be bioengineered so they can no longer spread their virus? If so, we would allow the remaining Imitators to live, although they would have to surrender and give up the colony. I do not like the morals attatched to this, but this could gain the Alliance another allie.

No, they're not. They spread their disease far too easily. The whole point of an alliance would be to stop them from spreading. As long as they continue to want to spread, they will be destroyed. The Empire does not allow the assimulation (killing the mind and using the body) of it's citizens so lightly. The Imitators are as bad as the Infected in their eyes, and we all know how the alliance with the Infected turned out...

Because they take over the bodies of other Sentients and effectively kill the former owners of the body. Right to life is removed. That is the ultimate crime to an Alversian. Your race, as it stands, is the personification of everything they fight to destroy.

Dude, we've tried this before. It didn't work. Accept that the Imitators will be destroyed. If you want an alliance, you'll probably need to (once again) create a new race. I didn't think the Calaverans were all that bad, Blackwater's living proof of that, they just sucked at fighting.

They will not get power. They will be destroyed. Their views and ways are incompatiable with those of the Alversians and Xiscapians. Now, if you create an entirely seperate nation some place else (Sky Kings, perhaps?) we will be at war with you but it will be much harder for the Imitators to fall.

We made no alliance with the Infected, Xiscapia did out of desperation and we accepted that a united front would be necessary so we accepted it. We did not co-operate with Infected Forces at any time during that war and had no intention of doing so.

And the Alversians need to know that if the hand over POW's or Criminals, they are not automatically condemned to life as an Imitator. If you want an Alliance with us, you will need to change the race in terms of this assimiliation. No one wants an alliance with a race like that.
