Legislative Branch:
None, function served by the Committee of Law in the Supreme Directory and each Commonwealth or local Directory. Each of these Committees is overseen by the respective level's representative from the national People's Bar Association, nominated by same with the approval of the President/Steward and confirmed or rejected by popular vote. Similarly, bills given the Steward's Assent can be passed or vetoed by simple majority in the popular vote, with those subject to the Steward's Veto likewise capable of passing by 2/3 majority in the popular vote.
Judicial Branch:
Dual, consisting of the Supreme Committee of Justice under the Supreme Directory and the Supreme People’s Court on the other (Fifteen Justices, one per Commonwealth plus two more for Tailville DR). The Supreme Committee of Justice is responsible for all appellate or arbitrary cases and management of judicial procedure, while the Supreme Court handles all trials of constitutional importance.
Commonwealth and local Committees of Justice and People’s Courts (Headed by three Ombudsmen; one each supervising Prosecution, Defense, and Evidence, with all verdicts rendered by jury of ten peers to the defendant.). Again, Committees of Justice handle arbitrations and procedural matters while Courts handle trials proper.
Political Parties
None, prohibited by the Revolutionary Civil Unity Act of 2007. However professional and civil groups such as the Chambers of Commerce, or Better Business Bureau, or National Unions Federation, &c all both run candidates for the Presidency and Stewardship if a general election is called as well as administering their respective Committees within the various national and state Directories.
Per said Act and the National Electoral Fairness Act of 2007 immediately proceeding it, all elections outside of the civil organizations' own nominations draw on the National Revolutionary Freedom Fund; a coffer overseen by the National Freedom Foundation headed by Steward Lind himself. This Fund draws upon a set "Campaign Funding Tax" percentage (OOC: TBD) levied per citizen's tax obligation; and in turn, candidates draw funds from this national pool of money on an as-needed basis by their campaigns. This has the effect of limiting the influence of money in Wagdian politics, while still enabling individual participation in the electoral system at least in theory; though of course professional/social connections remain an immense if not vital aid for such participation to be realized.
