Government Announces Economic Plans for Next 5-Year Plan
The Government's Economic 5-Year Plan was announced today, with a freeing-up of the economy to increase Barronia's international trade and status in the world economy announced. Already a major banking hub between the Americas and Europe, port space on the southern Greenlandic Territory will be increased to allow more ships travelling between the continents to stop.
More money is to be given to improve infrastructure, including the creation of the "Ice Highways". Long-remedied as a way for the tracked and chained vehicles of Barronian Imperial Group's land transport division to make their way quickly from one side of the island to the other, construction has been delayed to save money.
