SONOMI-A trial of the century is unfolding as Amellia and Natalia Amande, a lesbian couple living on a farm in western Kurona, have filed a lawsuite to regain custody of their 14 year old daughter Fiona, who was taken from them nearly 8 weeks ago. According to their attorney Kirn Mori says the school Fiona attended "Brainwashed" her into becoming a homophobic child and turn against her parents. The school denies such claims however stating it was doing what the school does, teach the child and prepare her for society. Amandes say differently. "One day," Said Amellia Amande "My daughter left her notebook and it was filled with Anti-homosexual statements. All stuff that we never wanted her taught." According to the family Fiona was also forced to drop out of her homeroom class (General Ed studies) and enroll in a Christian Ed Class and be taught specifically anti-Homosexual statements based on Biblical status.

Technically, it is not illegal to teach Anti-Homo statements in any kind of class however it is illegal to force a student to take any kind of religious course with out first consenting with parents. Fiona also alleged that she was forced to copy out of the Holy Bible and read from it every day.

"She had no choice," Said friend Mackenzi Takahara, "All the teachers would make her feel alienated if she didn't adopt to their standards." All such allegations have been denied by the school and by teachers. "It's not our job to alienate students." said Fiona's Home Room Teacher. "It's our job to teach what the core is set as."

As for Fiona's adoption, her step parents are fighting to keep her against her adopted lesbian parents. "Fiona needs a stable environment with a mother and father." said step-father Robert Jones. "Fiona needs to stay!" Shouted her step brother Tobey. But argument have been flung from both sides. "Lesbians are mothers too," Said Protester, "If Kurona is to keep the spirit of family alive, then they need to keep Fi with her step parents and keep weeding out these wretched perversions." The trial is expected to continue over the next week.

Dr. Dumasse(ecologist/phycologist. Phd) : I believe that we shouldn't support any minority groups whatsoever. All creatures compete in nature as stated in Charles Darwin's theory, every creature competes to survive and mate so only the "best genes" survive. Traits like homosexuality, political opinions and intelligence have already been proven to be partially genetic traits. In social organisms the groups compete, packs compete, herds compete, tribes, nests ext. Take ants for example, those from other nests are annihilated. My theory is that humans being social creatures group up and form groups, throughout history it's been going on. Even now groups fight only instead of with a sword, its with words and false propaganda, the gays vs. the straights, Christians vs atheists, democrats vs republicans. Since these things are partially genetic wouldn't that mean that gays are competing to destroy all others without that trait just as straights by nature want to stamp out homosexuals? Wouldn't that mean that supporting any subversive group would be a sin against nature to intervene? I think we should let all groups fight it out and let the fittest survive. And remember, all creatures deep down are inner nazis that desire to purge the world of those that aren't their likeness, especially us humans. The Longinean Order would have to disagree on this point. While it may take an extended family to properly raise a child, the concept of the village in modern times has fallen beyond just extended families, and thus beyond the original definition. Therefore, the argument anymore is moot and invalid.

The Armed Republic of Toori believes in religious and moralistic free-will... to an extent; as long as it doesn't infringe on the rights of others. In the Bible it clearly states that homosexuality is bad, and that hetrosexuality is the way that humans are meant to mate, it's that simple! While I would agree with you that the Bible does specifically condemn the practice, but it also states that the Holy Father gave us the freedom to choose whether or not we follow his dictates. Also, Jesus himself, the savior of the world, reached out to the SINNERS. That is what we are called to do. Reach out to those in need, and preach by example. As Saint Francis of Assissi has said, "Preach always, and when necessary, use words."

My misguided friends, the best course of action here is to assist these women in pursuing the return of their child, and showing them the way through example, not through heavy handed preaching.

In the court room MNN news was busy scribbling things down, cases like this were common around the world, but the publicity this was getting well the story was just too good.

In the court room, a man in a black shirt and pants, with the White Collar of a Catholic Priest entered the courtroom. His black coat bore the flag of the Order of St. Longinus on his sleeves, and the rank of a Lieutenant-Colonel upon the epulets of his jacket.

He was the Order's best lawyer, and had been sent due to his descent from a relative of St. Francis. As he walked in, he spotted the defense, and began to walk to the Defense Bench, black atache case in hand.

John Darck quietly hummed a tune to himself, drowned out by the roar of the 747's engines. Darck was a lawyer, one of the most successful in Siriusa. A tall man with dirty blond hair and a square face, he didn't look like your average lawyer. He was excited. This was his first time doing a case out of the country. First off, he would meet with the step-parents and have a discussion with them about how they feel about the whole case.

With a low ding, the seatbelt sign came on. "The seatbelt sign is now on, and we are coming in to land" one of the stewardesses announced. "Please return your seats to their upright position."

One hour later, Darck standing in front of the baggage carousel. He checked his watch impatiently, the trial would be starting soon.

Another two hours later, he was still standing in the same spot. Then, with a cha-chunk the first baggage fell out onto the carousel. A bright purple duffel slowly circled past Darck, catching his eye. One word popped into his mind as a very feminine looking man slipped his carefully manicured fingers around the handle. Gay.

Darck followed the man with his eyes. He felt his lip curling in disgust as the faggot pulled the bag off of the carousel. For a moment their eyes met, but the gay man quickly looked away, but Darck kept watching. Everything screamed queer about the man, from his tight black pants to his fuschia turtleneck sweater to the diamond earring in his right ear. He probably can't wait to stuff his boyfriend's ass, Darck through to himself.

One hour later, Darck had acquired his luggage and was in a taxi en route to the courthouse. He was already running minutes late, he couldn't afford to stop at the hotel on his way back. He'd just stow his duffel at the back of the courtroom.

He arrived at the courthouse, paid the cab driver, and dashed up the steps to the courthouse doors.

Fr. Jameson stood, scooped up his copy of the local child laws, and walked over to the prosecution's table, apologizing profusely as he did so.
