Angstrom Class Aircraft Carrier
As we all know, the universe thirsts for bigger and bigger weapons.
Nuclear pulse guns.
3500-ton tanks.
2-kilometer battleships.
We at Allanean Arms are aware of this, and are now promoting our new awesome product – the Angstrom Aircraft Carrier. This is the biggest bluewater aircraft carrier in the multiverse, measuring a full TEN MILES from prow to stern and nearly 8,000 feet across. Not only does it act as an aircraft carrier, but also as an ABM and Khan launch platform and a mobile fleet support base.
Furthermore, it is equipped with an array of advanced detection system – not only sonar, but also infra-red detectors, X-band RADAR and carrier-free RADAR, providing the ship the capacity of RADAR detection at 5000 kilometers and detection of even the most advanced stealth aircraft at the expense of range, if the carrier-free RADAR is used.
But that is not all. The Angstrom has sufficient free cargo space and machinery to act a major fleet tender, capable of supplying a fleet with up to 1,300,000 tons of supplies and equipment – eliminating completely the need of tenders for a fleet of up to 500 ships.
Obviously, the Angstrom has issues – all the attendant issues of a ship of that size. But it fills a unique niche in naval warfre that no other ship can fill.

My nation is highly Interested in this Naval product as we have been looking for a carrier of this size for sometime. We are worried however that our Naval budget will not be able to cover even one of these vessels, thus I must ask to begin negotiations of a Payment plan. We will over you our Entire budget each NS year until we have acheived a goal of Five vessels if there is any problem with our request inform us immeidiatley.

We recommend the following:
Pay 5 trillion dollars to us over five years for production rights, then use your own money and labor to produce the vessels at your own pace. This will likely cost you less money then using interest-fraught payment plans.

We at Allanean Arms happily confirm this order.

Aboard Alexander Kazansky’s personal Ouroboros (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=481690)
While Kevin Nivensky was the majority shareholder of Allanean Arms, Incorporated, he preferred to avoid luxuries, except as needed to please his wife, Julia Nivensky-van Ghent. But on some occasions, you simply needed to celebrate in a wild fashion. And so Alexander Kazansky’s private aircraft became the setting for the party to celebrate the huge profits from the sale of production rights to the Angstrom.
Of course, Nivensky, being the CEO of Allanean Arms, had access to Ouroboros-class aircraft, used to deliver Allanean Arms’ products and personnel world-wide. But only Alexander Kirillovich Kazansky would take the world’s largest cargo aircraft and re-equip it as essentially a flying mansion, equipped with even an onboard Olympic swimming pool capable of functioning even like a giant heated Jacuzzi.
It was in this pool/bathtub that Kazansky, Nivensky, and Julia were now resting, the water bubbling around their bodies. Kazansky was flanked on both sides by young ladies –one an elf, the other a human with some Khristian blood in her.
“Yes, honey, this is great.” – smiled Kazansky as one of them handed him a platinum-plated cup made out of the skull of a Kahanistani General. As he sipped on the champagne, he spoke to the Khristian: “See, Lyona, live and learn. This is the Grand Chateau de le Marechalate. The castle where it is owned jointly by the Marechals of Greater Prussia, those who were faithful to the old house of Napoleon IV… come here and have some,” – the girl sat in his lap as he deftly handed her another skull – “Isn’t it an awesome champagne?”
“Oh yes, dear!” – Lyona sighed adoringly, as she saw Kevin Nivensky begin to kiss his wife. The elven girl looked a bit appaled by it all. “Hey, babe.” – smirked Kazansky as he hugged her with one hand while Lyona was still perched in his lap – “What’s your name anyhow?”
The elf laughed.
“See, the beauty of this is, I can pay for anything. Even for your virginity, Lyona.”
The Khristian gasped. “What?”
“Yeah. I want you to stay aboard the aircraft and have sex with me on the huge triple-size bed I have here.”
“This is horrible!” – she tried to get up, but the Fieldmarshal gently pulled her back into the pool, as the rest laughed. – “What kind of slut do you think I am?”
“Oh please.” – grinned Kazansky – “I’m not talking about some five-hundred credit bill. I’m talking about a sum that will change your life forever, and for the best. Where do you work right now, you say? I remember meeting you at the airport…”
“Buger joint.”
“So you get paid about six bucks an hour, right?” –Kazansky asked with a grin.
The arms merchant and his wife listened intently to the scene. This was becoming entertaining.
“Yeah. But that doesn’t mean…”
“Oh, I am offering you something greater then just a big some of money. I am offering you one billion dollars.”
There was a deafening silence as Lyona stared in sheer terror. “The same offer applies to you too, Namiel.” – Kazansky smiled at the Synda. – “You get to make love to me – and I know you have a portrait of me at home over your bed, Namiel – you become mindblowingly wealthy – and I get to stage a threesome with two virgins. Because I can.”
Kevin and Julia began to laugh as Kazansky began gently caressing the elven girl’s breasts. “Mmm, why don’t you begin working for the billion dollars even now?”

I'd say more like that of a ship which can't move at all, floating airfield which can't launch its planes in an entire day, and a scare for firefighters.
At certain size, quantity changes the very item's quality: from a ship it has turned into simply a floating 16x2.4km airbase - which could be built on land in less time than it takes to move this, and for a percent of the cost.
Funny thing is , Hub International Airport is 25x8km in total size :p, and its construction has cost me I think $100 billion or so. With the difference that it doesn't rise and fall with the waves, smashing the planes' gear, isn't a huge fire hazard, and so on.
I thought this was a joke until you started defending in /d/...

Official Response to Greal:
We would like to inform you that currently Allanean Arms does not have available production facilities. All our shipyards are caught up with orders for the Allanean Navy and other entities. We estimate that they will be only free in approximately 20 years.
However, we note that if you simply buy the production rights and build the Angstrom yourself it will cost you less then buying it from us, and certainly will get it done faster.
Official Response to Cazelia:
Your request is confirmed.

As a sponsor of this program, the Angstrom Gigacarrier, which has been optimized for Leafanistani made aircraft. We recommend a massive dose of the Budget Airforce Package, which can efficiently and rapidly stock your carrier with the ability to punish the enemy.
Budget Airforce Package
A return to the heart of this storefront. Effective weapons in large amounts. Build an airforce rapidly, sure it isn't the most modern aircraft but its still very effective.

We would like to purchase 5 of these great ships to add into our Majestic Naval Fleet, and would like to ask if your shipyards can build custom design beds for our sailors to sleep on? If so, please add the Tempuric Beds in the ship. The money will be wired in one payment, as soon as you confirm our orders.

Very well. We will speed up the production ourselves.
Very well. Blueprints will be transmitted upon reception of funds. We recommend you contract Leafanistani businesses for the actual production of the carriers.
And so it began. Kevin Nivenski, having received the majority of the six trillion dollars from Urcea and Leocardia into his personal posession, had decided to throw one of the most amazing parties in Allanean history to celebrate this new success for himself and his company.
This was not by any means a closed party. It began at 3 AM, when hundreds and even thousands of men hired by Kevin prowled the steets of Liberty-City. They distributed alcohol and drugs to everybody who would have them. By dawn, one hundred thousand bottles of excellent Dersconi vodka have beem given out to the pary, as well as a million cans of beer.
But it was not all that Nivensky did. Already on midnight the night before, his people had scoured the college campuses of Liberty-City – focusing primarily on the Concord university facilities – offering money to all fraternities and dorm managers who would organize parties on the coming night. And thus, even as the sun rose on November 19th, dozens and hundreds of small mini-parties erupted all over the city.
Kevin had his friends help, too. Alexander Kazansky had contributed his own cash and unique connections, and now traffic in the Khristian neighborhoods of the city – where Kazansky was especially popular – has ground to a halt as people unpacked their new shiny toys – a thousand Firestorm trucks and large loudspeaker mounts were distributed there for free, resulting in multiple street parties that didn't even let the traffic through.
Several armored trucks were parked in the yard of the ANN officesl, and Kazanski Heavy Industries personnel handed several crates of sweets, drugs and alcohol to the amazed newsmen, together with flowers for every female employee.
Further, Kazansky has paid the fuel costs for a Naval aviation team to take off a carrier in harbor – and now they 'strafed' the city, leaving beautiful smoke trails in the colors of the Allanean flag.
But again – this was Kevin's party in the main. He hired several thousand telemarketing personnel, calling the hotel rooms in the city's biggest hotel, congratulating bewildered foreign tourists, wishing them Happy Good Business Day. [Obviously no such holiday existed]. He ordered every foreign ambassador in the city be given an expensive Allanean Arms car at his own expense. And he rented one hundred blimps to be painted in his company colors, hovering over the city as a commercial from hell.
As for the two men themselves, they celebrated in a restaurant far above the city proper, on the roof of one of the Allanean capital's rare skyscrapers. Kevin was sipping on a Menelmacari wine that cost $100,000 per bottle, Kazansky was gulping down Dersconi vodka, glass after glass after glass. And below them, as the vodka took its toll and the hundreds of little parties merged together, the city roared with the excitemnt of the largest street party in Allanean history.
Large areas of the city ended up shut down that day because of traffic, or because of employees not coming to work. Several dozen buses and two trains were damaged badly by the revelers, and fifteen people were injured firing live rounds into the air – even though Nivensky distributed blank ammo just for that purpose. The lawsuits for various party damage had amounted to over five billion dollars between them – more then the cost of touching off the party proper.
Kevin paid them without a sigh – he didn't want to bother with the legal process, and-viewed the fact so many people sued as another indicator the party had been truly awesome and truly wild.

The man there readjusted his suit, fiddled with his tie which insisted on changing colors to a bright green instead of cycling to red and orange. He smacked it once and instantly recoiled, fearing he had damaged the OLED screen. He was relieved when the tie readjusted itself to the correct color scheme.
He was waiting for the Urceans or Leocardians to transmit the plans. Nearby his secretary redid her skirt and went over to the phone. She had to make the calls to Allanean Consultants and subcontractors to hire the people to build the damn things. He looked over to his Personal Assistant who was insisting she wore red underwear today as she walked over to her large tablet PC. She was going to have to call the Leafanistani and Halberdgardian subcontractors to get the materials into this place. And then he turned around and looked out of his brand new office into the streets of Saharistan, surrounded by countless other towers. He could see the Legal Department in the distance, and on certain days he could see them working at a frantic pace for this project, turning through hundreds of thick volumes of Saharistani Corporate Law.
The custodian had finished putting his heavy pants back on and began sweeping away the piles of cigarette and joint butts. The executive, Andrew Morrison opened another package of Qs. They were Leafanistani made joints, three quarters low grade marijuana with one quarter tobaccos. The quarters used in the mixture earned them the name of Qs. He needed to relax but not too much.
He sent off a secure email to the Leocardians and Urceans.

Hello and I am Andrew Morrison, the CEO and the subcontractor that Allanea has hired to build your superships. Let me be first to tell you we are honored by such a request by our esteemed Allanean associates and your honorable government.
However we require a harbor capable of supporting this awe inspiring vessel, at least 50 meters deep, this may require artificial dredging that our company can also do. Besides that we will need to construct the world's largest horizontal dry dock(s) so we can deploy all of these ships at once. While you may question the usefulness in building all 5 Angstroms at once let me assure you it is for an economic reason. Bringing all these workers to your country through our subcontractors is hard work as is building their living spaces nearby and paying them Saharistani Minimum Wages for this type of work so they'll even come here. To ensure we aren't trucking workers back and forth across the seas, we'll build all five ships at once to save money.
Each carrier itself costs 16 trillion to build at 1 trillion per year or 15 trillion on one payment due to inflation. We expect the payments promptly or construction will stop obviously.
For Leocardia we'll have to control around 50 miles of coastline to build these. For Urcea its only 10 miles, it will be an awesome sight when we finally finish these mighty tools of war.
