100 MiG-21 began to lift off from the airfield headed in the direction being reported to be attacked.

The second impact rocked the area killing over twice as many as the first strike.

The army now mad contact with the marines, AK-47 rounds spat out towards the enemy, RPG-7's whislted in the air.

The marines quickly took cover as the RPGs flew around. A few vehicles were damaged with one being destroyed. The marines fired off their guns at the enemy forces as they moved into better firing positions.

"Sir, there are a few thousand of them."

The request was quickly sent out. The Alpha Strike that was launched attacked the enemy positions with everything that got. Four planes were equipped with napalm and they dropped them all on the enemy. These planes then returned to their carrier to get a reload. Additional planes were launched to cover their patrol areas.

Eagle squadron fired off one more round of missiles into the enemy as well. The pilot nodded as they did.

The marines for their part waited till hell was over and then quickly counter-attacked the enemy. By this time, the 2nd Regiment opened up with its field pieces and the a few tanks made their presence known when one of their guns opened up sending a round where the enemy was firing from that spattered debris everywhere.

The tank being as smart as he was shifted position but was still struck by one of the RPG's blowing off the tread. The crew quickly abandoned the tank and continued the attack as part of the infantry. By this time, the 2nd Army Group reached the attack and poured on the heavy fire power as the new wave of planes that replaced the first, bombed and missiled the enemy.

The rest of 1st Army by this time had landed on the beaches and began the trek to meet up with the 1st Army group for an assault towards the capital.

It really depends. Even if the power is off, the circuits will get fried. As to emergency power, I believe that too would be fried. Unless of course you have have your circuits shielded but even then it would not stop a tremendous burst of EMP.
