Thanks to ECF, the Borg have gotten back on their feet and regained the foothold they need. A floatilla of 3 cubes, a pyrimidial planitary assimilation platform, 1 defender class warp artillery platform, and 5 tactical spheres slid silently one-by-one into the GATE station which pushed them into an area of subspace called a "Transwarp conduit" which propelled the massive vessels at speeds exceeding warp 16 to their target.

some 40 hours later, a tall 4-armed creature looking through his telescope would see a portal opening in space, his triangular eyes would watch as large geometric shapes poured out of it. and would still be awestruck as the pyramidial shape faced it's top towards his planet... Then he would no longer be so suprised.

Suprise implies individuality.

The captain sat in his chair, and the ship juddered slightly. In a instant the borg fleet could be seen assimlating somthing.

The captain stood up and ordred a scan of the planet in question.

" Sir, looks like they were still primitive, so I dont see a problem "

The captain looked very realived " Good, I wonder if they'll notice somthing is here keep sheilds up"

They may be able to see whats there, but not idenfity it.

Several experimental generators spun up and even borg sensors wouldnt be able to detect the ship as it slipped away from the time space fabric.

The comm officer opened a channel.

" Now how cool is that "

"Spatial distortions have vanished." the queen of the cube was puzzled by this development and ordered it to break formation and go to the space where the distortion once was. a borg detail-scanner lit up and caused the whole space where the ship once was to alight green. but it did not see any sign of the ship.

The queen opened a comm channel. "How can you cloak without creating spatial distortions?"

" Go to visual and decloak "

The ship decloaked next to the borg ships, it was about 1km long, flat on both sides with running lights all over the palce, very powerful warship.

" yeah its pretty cool, Im drunk right now "

The queen was unsure as to how to respond, the translators seem to have told her that the captain of the other ship was a consumed liquid. "Our translatinf software is having problems. Please clerify."

The 1st officer being just as immature being a mere 200 years old " wow you are really hot, anyway. Mind telling me a bit about your plans here? If your interested in holding a conference, maybe exhanging some tech, I'd be more than happy to beam you over and we could discuss some possible deals "

This borg queen however wasn't as appreciative of the young first-officer's advances. "Careful there. If you take what you are about to try to do as far as you want to do it. Then you just might find leaving the collective a hard proposition." She smirked at his stunned silence. "Although we are in need of some improved cloning technology... Perhaps you should come over here."

"Alright." the borg transporter system disengaged it's security protocols and allowed for the ECF transporters to bring her to their conferance room

The 1st officer and captain were sitting at the conferance table, there was already a hologram of a large battlestation/spacedock, even huge by borg standards

" Have a seat, ok kids lets do this. "

The captain motined to the hologram " That is known as Beta, its a battlestation that we wish to put in your terriorty near your new home world, as a staging base for seven hundard ships if troubled times should occur. This station has pretty much everything. Its impossible to scan, very hard to detect, very heavily armed. And can blow the shit out of pretty much anything that comes into contact with it. The queen whistled audably. "That's an impressive station... but you misunderstand, the borg have no need for "homeworlds". This is just another system nothing more. We welcome our allies' presence in our system and ask only two things in return."

She leans in on the table. "I'd like a borg presence on the station as a permanant ambassidor. And I'd like any technology pertaining to cloning or genetic engeneering you'd care to spare to us."

" Sure, a small diplomatic office will be allowed, borg can roam throught the ship, besides battle drones. And worker drones. There will be off limits areas, but nothing that cant be worked out. "

The commander chimed in " as far as cloning goes, we can get gestation down to a week if you really wanted to. If your interested that is, Ive been informed by the goverment, that if a queen would like to come to the homeworld for a social tour, thats possible if she would be interested. "A week is acceptable, and I wouldn't dream of having military drones on your station other then a few token guards. Most likely I'd send a group of 20 or so drones, mostly scientists and engineers so we can more effectively compare scientific notes and such. They're all individualized and can be ordered not to give the collective information if you so order them."
