The Democratic Republic of Lerazi would like to open relations with other countries.

Lerazi is a modest country that is still growing. Founded as a Jewish state in the late 1900's, Lerazi never had diplomatic relations as it wasn't ran by a formal government. Only within the last half decade has Lerazi come to establish ad Democratic System and now that the Government is in place and in order we would like to seek out others. While it was Jewish state many more religions have settled since then. Lerazi has a healthy population of Jews, Christians and Muslims. Not a lot of other religions have settled down but the Government makes no prohibition against it.

Some General Info:

Lerazi is about five times the size of Israel and runs along a costal plain. It's climate is a very diverse steppe climate. The eastern region (towards the border) is deserty and dry and cut off by the mountains (Creating a rain-shadow effect) while the east is green and receives plenty of water. The capital is centered near the ocean and is the only major port in the country.

Learzi's national animal is the falcon, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the dimè.

Lerazi welcome and encourages business (despite what it may say on my nation page) to come grow and develop. Healthy competition is great though most buisness will be closed on Sunday (Some Saturday).

Our current President is: Alexzander Peres he's married with five children. He was elected on June 19 of the current year.

Our Natural Resources include: Olive oil, corn, coal, wheet, iron and steel

The Federal Havenic Republic of Prestonia welcomes this new nation of Learzi to the world. We wish to establish full diplomatic relations with your nation, and forsee a long and happy friendship between us. With your permission, we wish to set up an embassy within Learzi, and you are welcome to do the same in Prestonia. If it is seen necessary, we also wish to donate surplus equipment to your military to bring it into the modern era. Advisers may also be sent if deemed necessary. A word of caution, however: the international community of late does not take kindly to communism or those it perceives as communists. In particular, the Sons of Lenin are not held in high regard, as the Soviet Commonwealth is considered to be a more solid option. If your nation holds a policy of human rights and is committed to the fight for the good of mankind, then we humbly invite you to join the United Federation of Allied Nations. We look forward to seeing you among our ranks.

My morning routine is always same old same old, rustling through the various newspapers of the world over some fried eggs and bacon. (walking, not running) It seems like years since the Score War and things such as eggs and bacon are beginning to become far more available. And now that connections to the outside world have been re-established, a new nation invariably enters the global scene every day. Hmm.... Yet another conglomerate of imperialist swine has dared to step foot on this earth, and is seeking to meet up with its industrialist brethren to revel in their own decadence. Learzi is it? Sounds appropriately Imperialist.

I got up from my table, bid the Ministers good morning, and proceeded to the computer lab down the hall. Looks like it will be another long day....

I have seen the announcement of your nation in the newspapers and across the newsnets, and wish to recognize you officially. Welcome to the international scene, please install the necessary fax machines and Internet connections to facilitate international communications, et cetera.

That being said, however, this world is no place for the continued atrocities of your outdated and primitive capitalist system. Know that the workers and peasants of your nation shall soon rise up to overthrow your corporate oligarchy and install a true democracy of the people, one based on need and ability rather than social class. Your time will soon come, bourgeois pigs, may it come swiftly and painlessly for the proletariat of your nation.

OOC: seconded. BTW, Learzi, SOL is a region (group of countries that elects a UN member, read the stickies). I'd recommend you surf the boards and look for an active region that meshes with your interests. Do you want an RP region? Interested in general discussions? Like setting up invasions? Find one that works for you. My region was a defender region until rule changes essentially squashed the whole invading thing.

May the workers and peasants of your nation rise up swiftly and eliminate their oppressors, so they may at last breathe the free air of communism. For it is a recognition that the fortunate must help provide for the unfortunate, and not merely trod them beneath their boots, that true equality arises. Yet you proclaim "equality."
