OOC: What is different from the regular Ak-47? The underbarrel RPG would have such a small warhead, you'd be better off just using a genade launcher. The price is also absurdly low. You can't get a bolt action .22 for that, let alone an assult rifle.

actually the warhead is smaller, but still powerfuler than a grenade launcher. it is also guided, unlike a normal 40mm launcher.

yes that's what the screens used for, it can also be used to fire the weopon during night, the main sights are there in case the screen gets broken. the low price is just there so i can get them out in the world, i will raise later. think of it as a one time offer.

OOC: You idea might work but probabaly not in it's current form. You would be looking at some thing closer to the muzzle launched rifle grenades that the isrealis are working on.

A basic AK could be just about manufactured for about $150 if you were using crap materials with loose quality control, but your guided grenade system would be priced in the $1000 region for the on weapon control system (I assume the screen is there to receive imagry from the projectile).

As to the rifle, what exactly do you mean by double grooved? Are you under the impression that the Kalashnikov design team were incompetant and some how failed to incorporate the correct rifling in thier design?

true, it wont be a large warhead, but eneough to put through windows and small vehicles.

OOC: Including the guidance package, the propulsion the warhead would be smaller than a 20mm grenade.

OOC:
Actually what is described here isn't too far off the Israelli MPRS program. The truth is that there is little point in even bothing with guidance for a rifle grenade or UGL round as the ranges at which they are used are really too short, nope your fancy sighting system is better off be used as a range finder for setting the fuze on an ABM (air burst munition).

To get this weapon sorted:

rifle part: leave well alone, nothing wrong with the AK that the AKM didn't fix, or even better go with a "100" series AK design. it might be worth modifying the muzzle to accept rifle grenade though
Grenade: make it a rifle grenade as opposed to some bizare under barrel rpg launcher, a rocket assited RG will take you out to 400-600m no problem and give youa bigger bang than any UGL round.
sight: go with a combo optical sight/laser rnage finder, stick your received video display onto a PDA style device, for night vision have a modular attachemnt that fits over the optical sight
price: probabaly looking at a good $300-500 for a really nice quality AK plsu $1000-$1500 for the eletronic DooDahs.

the prices are right, its a one time offer, the rifle's price will be raised. and the rate of fire is fine, if i make it faster it will kick like mule, and it wouldnt matter how many you spit out.

All I have to say is that you should post the picture right on the post. The prices are off. And the rifle would be better with a higher rate of fire. Who needs
grenades with a 7.62 MM bullet?

OCC: The AK already kicks like a mule. And you should listen to Crookfur's advice.

Actually its not, it is some what hideously broken in its current format, but in the end it is up to you.

Bull_horns_rule: that would be the russians and just about every other serious 7.62x39mm user most of whom were more than happy to buy GP-25s or produce local analogues, as for RoF, 600 rpm is pretty much the practicla limit for an AK style action, anythign more would really need a new rifle design from scratch.
