(This is an introduction thread to the nation of Thalestria)

Thalestria was a nation that kept 19th Century morals and lifestyles while embracing 21st Century technology. It was not uncommon for the Royal Family, so loved throughout the nation, to hold galas with the nobility and aristocracy and it was not uncommon for people who were only with wealth to do the same. King Constantine the Second had been reigning for many years, his wife Queen Amelia giving him six children, five of whom were married. They lived with the teenage (seventeen) Princess Emily at the Royal Citadel, a massive structure in the city of Port Royal.

Parliament convened meetings constantly in the capital, Thalestrium and the recent election propelled the National Party to power with its leader, Edmund Grey as the Prime Minister of Thalestria. Prime Minister Grey had began his plans to build Thalestria, he was quite patriotic you know. Mr. Grey lived on 27 Ravenclaw Street, the traditional home of all politicians lucky to get the best job in the nation (in terms of politics).

Thalestria had began to come out of the darkness and into the light, the torchbearers have lit the path of this nation towards international diplomacy but will anyone greet them at the gate? Edmund Grey and many of the citizens he reigned over hoped that someone would.
