OOC: Sorry that my economic/budget statistics arent up here, I had a hard time making them look uncluttered. If you want to know them look it up yourself.
History
Logan and Ky was founded in the year 1498 by a collaboration between the Norse tribe known as the Loganians and the Norse tribe known as the Kyanese. For several hundred years the lived a barbaric life in the mountains of their homeland, occasionally warring with other tribes in the area. In the year 1670 an explorer from overseas arrived with a small army that, with their superior weaponry, easily conquered the primitive tribe. Over the next 20 years or so, the conquerors grew a liking for the Kyanese, who complied more easily with their demands and accepted their religion, the Loganians, however, defied attempts to tame their wild spirit. In the year 1693, the conquerors committed a massive genocide of all peoples determined to be of Loganian descent. Even though they represented a small minority, the Kyanese were angered at the killing of their friends and allies, and rose up against the conquerors in the First war of Logan. The Kyanese outnumbered their conquerors 20 to 1 and easily defeated them and killed all who did not retreat. Several years later, the conquerors counterattacked. This was the Second war of Logan, and this time the Kyans did not fair as well, sustaining heavy losses and having to cede some of their southern territory. After this war two things became evident, first of all their way of life had been completely changed. Logan and Ky was now a modern nation with modern technology and weaponry. Second of all it was realized that there were little to no Loganians left, and after that their numbers dwindled and diluted even further. Today it is unlikely that there is a single Loganian left on the planet, but the Kyanese still keep the name in order to remember their fallen brethren. So after that the Kyanese lived in peace, until the year 1767 in which they retook the southern territory from the conquerors in the Third war of Logan. This was the last they saw of the conquerors, and it was rumored that their entire population was liquefied by British Londinium sometime around the invention of the blender. Today Logan and Ky is a socially progressive nation, and is considered mildly socialist.

Geography
Logan and Ky is a coastal country in the far north, the Coast is mostly made up of huge, sharp rocks, the occasional bay surrounded by mountains, and rivers cutting deep valleys into the mountains which rise up immediately from the coast. Most cities are located near the coast in the coves which are highly protected from the surrounding mountains. Past the mountain range there is a large area known as the Tyrinian wastes. Logan and Ky’s largest city (Tyrin, population 5 million) is located on edge of the mountains and the wastes. The wastes are a huge area of flat, frozen land with high winds in which nothing and no one lives. On the other side of them from the mountains is an area of high volcanic activity, and there is smoke emitting from fissures in this area almost constantly. One result of this is that the ash usually blows over the wastes and dissipates when it reaches Tyrin and the mountains. During the Winter, Logan and Ky is dark 24/7 due to its location. During the summer, its split between the coastal areas and the mountains, which receive 24 hours of sunlight, and the wastes, which is still dark 95% of the time due to volcanic ash. Logan and Ky has few natural resources, however it does have thriving fishing and timber industries. The oceans are filled with cod and the mountains are filled with forests of the hardy Kyan pine tree.
