Working closely with the Advanced Defense Project Research Office, the Ministry of Energetics has today sent the first permanent Caelapene satellite into orbit above Belltoll Island Aeronavy Research Outlay, Caelapes. Carrying four tungsten Caeteli Armory Kinarm Mk. 1 Signeter artillery rods, the satellite is the initial prototype of the Caelapene kinetic bombardment program, titled Project Sagittarius.
Ministry of Energetics scientists have calculated the expected yield of the Signeter artillery rods to be equivalent to the explosion of 6.7 tons of TNT. Test launches are scheduled for 1-1 Q1, FY08 / 1 Oct., 2007 and will touch down at Belltoll Island Aeronavy Research Outlay within the Federation of Caelapes.
