Well, welcome. I have been planning this for about a week now and I think I have everything sorted out. Now I need some other nations to join Uiri as it mourns the loss of their Minister-President, has the killer and commiter of treason punished for "1st degree murder and attempted Coup D'Etat", has a radical 'fascist' Statist Conservative 'Cyan Party' leader put in place and finally join them in the struggle for true blue democracy.

I expect interest and a bit of a commitment. Countries can allign themselves against or for Edward Forgul, the Minister-President of Uiri and against or for Alek Gunipo, the new 'temporary' dictator of Uiri. They can attempt to force their political structure on Uiri, or help bring back the old one. It's up to you.

OOC: You know I'm going to get involved, both for imperial as well as financial reasons. We're going to turn this place in to another bastion of Vetalian economic and cultural might...even if the natives end up shafted with what we've brought in to power.

Just to clear this up...I don't plan on Uiri becoming a colony for a third time (first time RPed though..).

Edward Forgul - Shot by senior military officer at a press conference to explain why Uiri joined the Confederation of Nations.

Alek Gunipo - Aboriginal Statist Conservative dictator. Supposedly caught the man who killed Edward Forgul and gave him his punishment (shot to the head like Forgul, yes, the death penalty)

Non-aboriginals - Focred to leave the country or be shot. Yes, that is Alek Gunipo's ruling.

This is what I picture you guys all doing:

Vetalia - Attempts to annex Uiri

Fordock/Deurem - Attempt to place a social welfare and social equality system into Uiri

Karuchea - Tries to re-instate the Blue Party

Void Templar - Supporrts Alek Gunipo and tries to stop other countries from interfering.

OK, now that we have that out of the way, I'll start the thread. It'll probably be a short post though, but I'll make it longer later if it is.

The Thread (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=539475) is up and just in case it isn't clear, it is MT. We're starting with Ed's Funeral.

The basic plan for our activities will be first to supply all sides in the conflict with equipment (of course, carefully disguised to prevent them from finding out) and thereby weaken all of them. Once that's done, we will begin launching an all-out economic offensive, literally buying out much of the country in the areas we wish to take.

The end result will be our soldiers moving in and carving out a puppet state, dominated by a sovereign Vetalian trade city and the attached military and naval bases.

Mind you, this is completely OOC, so no metagaming. ;)

You do realize there are two or three corporations in every industry except TV which is in Natural Monopoly but will be controlled by the state soon enough. What are the skin colours of your people? Alek is rascist against whites. Mind you this is all OOC so no metagaming.

There must be hundreds of contacts. What do you mean by sides? What are the offers and to whom, as I will be RPing Uir citizens. I won't metagame, don't worry. I'll give a map of Uiri in a sec but keep in mind the capital is only accesible by Uir pilots due to the difficulty of he valley. I have a good navy so be prepared for your blockades to be shot down if they are blockading too much.
