The Inhuman League/signup-interest(Fantasy/Bronze Age/Magic)

The Muri have emerged onto the surface and laid claim to the lands of Ordo Drakul, eating or enslaving the race of Man once there. Now, the Muri desire allies, especially among the nonhuman races, and intend to form an alliance to rival the human nations.
An invitation is sent to all who desire to sup at the table of the Voivode of Ordo Drakul to propose the terms of alliance and trade.
THE SETTING:
Ordo Drakul is a feudal nation with a technology set at late Bronze Age, inhabitted by the Muri, and ruled by numerous arcane orders-factbook at http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=537021
Considering my major industries are Arms Manufacture and Uranium Mining, I'm assuming other nations may not be as backward or the remnants of human tech may be laying around waiting to be deciphered.
MAGIC:
Magic does work, and the gamespeak view of it's mechanics is here:http://69.116.133.185:8245/main.asp
The Muri are largely shamans, but a few alchemists and sorcerors do exist among them. Use the rules at the link as a guideline, but don't feel obligated to use the spell names-just describe the effects and use the rules for a guide as to what can and can't be done.

Can I play a group of banished non humans. They were sent out on a ship and it was assumed they would die. Instead, they will land on your coast.

No one seems to be interested, but perhas once we start that will change. TG me if you're still interested and we'll give it a go.

You've seen my character, Marvel, in other threads. They've all aluded to, but not ever shown, the evil underworld government and the warlord who governed Marvel, a Red Gargoyle by the name of SmashMouth. This would offer the opportunity for me to show a little bit about SmashMouth and his vile minions. All you'll have to do is remember that I contemn these characters and everything that they represent, as I do with the characters I'm using in a current thread, "A Powerful Emergence."

I suppose I could get into this. I have a character that might work nicely for this that I'm currently using for a couple non-NS purposes. Joshua is half-demon, half-human and although he doesn't use magic in the exact terms that you gave us, some might call it magic if he hasn't explained it to them.

I am interested in this Inhuman League. My nation is primarily occupied by humans but they are under the dominion of a powerful Vampire count named Konrad Von Wulf and his family of Vampire Boyars and evil Death Knights. If you would like information on my nation here is a link to my factbook (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=539896). The County of Wulfenheim is based on Vampire run nation where necromancy and superstition are the norm and the dead do not rest easy so to speak…

Well, I'm too new to the forum to be that aware--but it is nice to know off the bat you'd condemn a non-human alliance based on your joining it. Still, I have no problem with anyone wishing to join, and it'd be good for you to flesh out these aberrent thoughts to understand them and their source

The magic's a guideline, nothing more since we're posting and not rolling dice on it--I suppose Joshua would be half-welcome, so what the Hey.

My nation has the Order of Zorak Zoran for necromancy, but we're open to new ideas and breakthroughs.

Hey, he's flexible. I'm not above changing him a bit to fit what is needed. And he still falls under the category of half-demon, it's his dominant side. But hey, half an invitation is still an opening.

So,my nation is accepted? Despite the large amount of human inhabitants?

Sure-the Muri look at humans as pink food, but the vampires should have no problems with that.

Umm…. The Vampire Boyars and lesser vassals would agree with that statement, but Count Konrad and his wife Countess Sophia would have a different opinion on that. The Count sees the citizens of Wulfenheim as his property. If he knew half of what was going on outside of his castile half of his Boyars would be executed for their rather pointlessly bloody and tyrannical actions.

The Count in recent years (give or take a century) has been keeping himself isolated from the human peasants and has his Death Knights bring in criminals and other dissidence for him and his wife to feed. The humans don't realize that the Boyars actions are just them enforcing their own dominion, while the Count stays in his castile calculating his rise to power in the region...

Forgive me for showing off the vocabulary that makes me a professional fiction editor IRL, but the word is "contemn," as in "feel contempt for," not "condemn."

Still, I don't condemn these alliances. I just feel contempt for certain elements of RL society that I'm hoping to use these characters to parody.

You should see what I'm doing in "A Powerful Emergence." Adolf Bush is running things. His pal, Dick, shoots people in the face if they don't fall in line and then calls it a "hunting accident." Then, we have The Exterminator, who was in the brig because a female yoeman (sp?) mistook some things he said for sexual harassment. According to him, however, he was only working on his family values. :) :) :)

Does this help you to understand? I don't feel contempt for your characters, I feel contempt for mine.

Sorry for the misunderstanding-thought it was a mistype. However, I still have no problem with your proposed Red Gargoyle nation/underworld joining the League. Perhaps they'll even propose our covert operations as we gell.
