Shiloba Invades Cynapsia

This document here by confirms that the Republic of Shiloba will be invading Cynapsia. The Shiloban Peace Core will reach the shores of Cynapsia at 1200 hours tomorrow. Shiloba sends the following to Cynapsia:

50,000 B-52 Bombers
25,000 8-083 Tanks
20,000 ACVs

The Shiloban President has confirmed the reconaissance mission, reason: For the confiscation of nuclear weapons.

Our forces will reach the shores tomorrow, where they will then work to seize your capital. Once the capital is under control, we will work on finding nuclear weapons, and have all nuclear weapons, destroyed. We will pay for any disturbance we cause, and whatever destroy, we will build back. We will eventually withdraw all forces. The project will last at least 1 week. Our naval units will blast your shores, as well as B-52 Bombers.

Dropped from Heaven knows where, a pod skimmed down into Shiloba, slowed in its descent by a parachute and retro rockets. It was a small enough target to evade detection by anything not specifically looking for it; and it was moving too fast to be accurately targeted by a missile. Perhaps Alistair I's message was simply not taken too seriously. At any rate, it landed with a whump, and two men emerged as it fell apart behind them.

Each was clad in full chain mail and carried a halberd, which they hefted as easily as javelins. At their sides, each one bore a greatsword and dagger; slung across the back was a crossbow and a full quiver of bolts. (Advances in engineering gave the crossbows the range of an average gun.) The elder and more senior guardsman, Sir Alarick the Bold, looked around with a resigned shrug and turned to the younger one, Sir Hrothgar the Fearless.

I am still on the issue of Cynapsia developing nuclear weapons, but I am not going to resolve it via military means.

The whole object of removing such weapons is to promote peace in the world, and allow nations to be less worried. Also, I fear that Cynapsia is building nuclear weapons not for good causes. I do believe they will use these, and cause nuclear war. I do not want war, but I fear for it. My nation cannot sleep at night, we have been bombed before. After that incident we ave worked to remove such weapons off the planet.

We do not wish for war, it was a mere suggestion is all. I thought I made myself clear before.

1. We are not going to go to war over this dispue, nor do we wish to go to war. Conflict is not even a consideration for this issue.

2. We are dropping this issue as of tomorrow, our government will dismiss it. We have come to the conclusion that the Soviet Commonwealth is unwilling to remove nuclear weapons from their nations.

Let me state, I see your need for such things. I understand why you want them. I know that yu will use them for defense - but not everyone, that's what I fear. We know that Cynapsia will use them, not for good.

I was handed a letter from Supreme Emperor Loak today about this issue, and he has stated that under no circumstances will the Shazbotdom Empire, nor the Soviet Commonwealth forcibly make a nation, any nation, give up their nuclear deterrant. It goes against the very concept of National Soverignty.

And we find it good that you are "dropping" this issue, you should have done it a long time ago. Your governmental leadership finally wised up. This is the biggest step that your nation can make to make it peacefully in the International Stage.

The USSC would like to point out to Shiloba that statements regarding the use of our nuclear weapons program as a deterrent were made from the very beginning, and can be seen in the original announcement:

"To this end, the United Socialist States of Cynapsia formerly announces that it intends to invest ten billion Universal Standard Dollars into the construction, development and domestic production of nuclear weapons, giving the United Socialist States a powerful ability to deter would-be attackers from using nuclear weapons on our own state."

I wish to sincerely apologies to all member nations. It has become quite obvious to me that The Humble Quietness that my nation has gone about is all but gone. My nation has never been associated with fellow nations of this size. We have for some reason come to beleive that we are unbeatable now that we have joined this Alliance, and as a new member My nation must learn to follow and not lead. OOC so when did the F-117 turn into a B52

yeah thats no B-52. My uncle is a Master Seargant in the airfoce so Ive seen an actual B-52. Thats a stealth bomber.

shiolba has 0 defense budget he cant invade. his soilders are naked with not even a rock to fight with. he has no bombers no tanks and no trucks. this is a pathetic atempt.

OOC: It could be his army uses different designations from the RL NS one.

Just cause he has 0 for a defence budget doesn't mean he can't have a military.


A majority of players who don't have a defence budget have a system set up where regional land owners are in charge of the military for their area, but if the federal government needs them, they can take the military while the regional guy still foots the bill.
