ooc: Sorry about the other thread- it went totally wrong. I will continue from where the last thread left off.
To Krapickstan:
We could not have dropped the Nuke anyway. We had contacted the plane at around 21:00 and they plane is now safely back at base. Fuel problems caused the plane to turn back just after takeoff and the Colstream Government had lost radio contact with the plane. Reports then came in that it had returned to Ashland Military Airbase and the Colstream Army has now advanced in Hetuarie and has started to shell in inner suburbs about 1 mile from the centre of the city. We would like help in rescuing civilians in Gravain as requested before. Our intention was to end the war quickly and an indecision caused that order to be given and the Commanding Officer that gave the order has been relieved of his duties and there will be no more call for use of a nuclear device. We are sorry that any tension was caused between our countries.
To Antigr:
Is it possible to send 5 divisions of your choice to help us take the Eastern Colstream Capital, Hetuarie? Your assistance is most welcome.
-----------------------------------------------
Situation Report:
Hundreds of Artillery started to pound the central outskirts of the capital Hetuarie. No civilians remained in the city and many Eastern Colstream soldiers were trapped in the city with no hope of relief or survival. All Eastern Colstream Government Officials were trapped as well and now waiting for the war to come to its inevitable conclusion.

Marines from fire base Alpha - Golf had been dispatched in the direction fo the eastern captial city in chinook helicopters supported by a large ground force that had been dispatched in APCs and with AAV escorts.
Lt doherty slammed his fist down on his comanders desk,
"dam it why are we still here? they were going to drop a nuke without even consulting us or antigr"
"calm down Lt, i don't like this anymore than you do but war is politics..."
"I swear to god comander if they pull anymore s**t like that then there is gunna be hell to pay"
"Doherty you may not like hell i dont like it either but we are here to do a job, a job that isnt finished now onced weve evacd the civilians i will apply for a withdrawal"
"understood, sir"
Doherty reluctantly withdrew himself from the tent and headed towards the mess hall:
Attention colstream:
due to the levels of tension building between the troops Krapickstani high command has expelled your forces presence from our fire bases. we apoligise for this however the escalating situation called for intervention.

To Krapickstan:
Thats OK. The tension at Colstream MOD Headquarters is so high that the commander that ordered the nuke strike nd several others have been sacked for harming relations with you. The Colstream government is terribly sorry for any harm caused. Those forces that you sent from your fire bases have gone to the front. We are now on the defence for now to regroup and evacuate our wounded and dead. There has been news that several of your special forces groups has been contacted on the front and they are now asking for pickup. The missions that they completed were a success and they are now ready to come home. Our Colstream Spetsnaz commanders have recommended that they are put forward for the Colstream Gallantry Medal and the Order of the Colstream Republic awards. This is in gratitude for their help. Also your army commanders will recieve the same awards to show our thanks for what your forces have done.
To Antigr:
Your commanders will also get these awards. I give my full thanks to you for helping the Republic Of Colstream in this troubled time. I hope that no harm comes to you in the future and good luck to your government. Your forces can pull out at any time.

To colstream:
Firstly i thank you for your admiration to our forces it is greatly apreciated however our forces cannot withdraw from your country with the current situation, as this is the second up rising there is know doubt that they would try this again and for this reason our troops will hold their fire bases untill the situation is deemed safe.
Our forces have now regrouped and awaiting our orders the second half of our fleet is arriving in your waters as we speak these ships will dispatch variouse forces onto the ground bringing the total number of krapickstan troops to 15,000 marines, 5,000 RFI and 10,000 general infantry.
our engineers are building further fire bases further back in the green zone, Fire base alpha, foxtrot, tango and lima now all have a functioning runway to lobby our own millitary supplies, as we speak aircraft are being assigned to these fire bases.
Please understand our presence here is not ocupation but simply as a peace keeping force, we qill follow the international laws of engagment our troops will begin to withdraw in 2 - 3 months assuming our defense minister notes the situation as stable.
thank you, F.R. minister Hokidi
To Colstream:
We do not know if you need these five divisions any more, but we wish to remain until the situation is safe. If you want, we can remain as security forces to make sure nothing else happens.

To Antigr:
The Eastern Colstream Capital has fallen. The Eastern Colstream President and his advisiors have been found dead- they look to have commited suicide because we did not shell the centre of Hetuarie as there were no troops lef t to defend it. The civilians that were evacuated will now be returned to Hetuarie. Please could you deploy your 5 divisions on the streets of Hetuarie to police the area and supervise the cleanup that will start immediately.
To Krapickstan:
Thank you- i would like you to help the Antigran Forces in patrolling Hetuarie to keep law and order. I give you full authority and give your forces the right to shoot any Communist soldier that refuses to surrender.
The patrolling areas are this:
Eastern and North Hetuarie: Antigran Army
Western and Southern Hetuarie: Krapickstan Army
Government Sector and Central Hetuarie: Colstream Army
Please search anyone that comes between your sectors. Eastern Colstream territory will return to the Republic Of Colstream at Midnight 26th September.
Do your respective countries accept these proposals?
Krapickstan
26-09-2007, 16:03
We agree to these proposals and our force will start these patrols imediatly
McIntyre had received the orders and began to deploy. There was little travel distance between Hetuarie and the lead Antigran forces.
He hoped to set up safe borders along his zone so that any uprisings in other zones would not spread. However, a concern would be the civilians, some would be scared, some maybe still loyal to the Eastern Colstream regieme.
Infantry squads of eight each would patrol the streets, some accompanied by some of the 3 support/command staff that bring the total of an Antigran platoon to 30 personnel. Every five minutes, there would be a tank or other armoured vehicle. All soft-skinned vehicles would be armed with at least machine guns.
'Alert companies' would be formed from the marines, comprising light tanks, Marines, towed gun/howitzers and specially modified GPL Jeeps, to react swiftly to any situation before main forces could be mobilised. Artillery batteries would be set up at the city edges, although these would only be allowed to let loose in emergency or self-defence situations.
Air Cavalry would form air patrols, and emergency reserves, made of the remaining divisions, would be set up around the city at a distance of 0.5 to 1.5 miles. This should be enough.

The Colstream Army has started to patrol our zone. Can you report any major incident to Colstream MOD. You can punish low to medium crimes in accordance with your laws. This applys to all criminals that are arrested in your sector. Please tell us if any major troops movements such as rotation of occupying troops or heavy equipment as the nearest airport is in the Central Sector of Hetuarie. The City is under martial law and the zones can be occupied until the situation stabilises. Also there is tests going on at the Testing Range at nearby Trevrau. This is only the testing of new Anti-Tank Air to Ground missiles are built to penetrate most armour. We are testing to see which armour the missiles don't penetrate to adjust the size of the warhead.
Not big fans of martial law. We're liberal democratic socialists, you know.
Krapickstan
28-09-2007, 16:34
we are not going to impose martial law in our sector...
Colstream
28-09-2007, 18:29
Fair enough, that was optional anyway. My area is stable enough now to only have soldiers on the perimeter of the sector. How is your sectors doing in terms of stability. Also all Communist POWs in my sector have been accounted for and will be treated as deserters and court martialled pending imprisonment in the new military prision outside Ashland.

To Antigran and Krapickstan Forces:
The Colstream Government would like to thank you for helping in the crisis but now the Colstream Government now finds that the situation in the country is now stable enough for our Parliament to ask for a withdrawl of all your forces occupying Hetuarie. The situation in Hetuarie has improved considerably since the end of the conflict and would like the streets returned to Civilian Control. Also there will be a sum of 4 Million Colstream Pounds given to Antigr and Krapickstan as a token of thanks. Please can you get back to the Colstream Government on this issue.
Okay, I'll shove off and camp in a field.
Colstream

What do you mean by that???
If you want to stay in the city if you want to untill you are satisfied the situation is stable thats under your own judgement. Anyway i am withdrawing forces to bolster the Thive Crisis garrison. Thives's account was deleted because it disappeared from my dossier. I have 12 divisions keeping order in the Country until neighbouring countries or a new government takes over. Could i have your decision on the matter?
I'll camp outside the city and mount patrols into the city.

OK anyway everything is back to normal. The POW camps are now fully operational and will be holding the POWs untill their court martials.
The War damage has been repaired and there has been a rise in the number of people that were displaced, returning to their homes.
So I can't fly now? *Cries*
