We want DPRs.

Nuff' said.

EDIT:

And yes, we'll probably need to use it with western ordnance.

TO: Kiev Helicopter Plant
FROM: USSW Department of Defense

We are quite pleased to see the Hussar become available, since although it serves well our current attack helicopter fleet is quite different from our Ki-1 utility fleet in logistical terms; something which we feel is beginning to become an operational liability. Hence we wish to order the following, as complements or successors to our in-service gunship models depending on what may be needed...

15,000 Ki-2A Hussars: $450,000,000,000 USD
Ki-2A DPRs: $30,000,000,000 USD
Modification Gratuities: $20,000,000,000 USD
TOTAL: $500,000,000,000 USD

Money in the required sum is available for wiring upon order confirmation, and if needed we would be willing to contribute to funding development of any variants your plant may desire to pursue at its leisure. Also, we ask that 10,000 of these be navalized for service aboard assault carriers with our Marines (if they're not already so capable), and that all models be dually capable for both Western and Eastern ordnance; for which we have included a modest tip as compensation for any trouble this request may or may not cause. Our thanks for the timely release of this potent aircraft, and continuing the tradition of quality that we've come to expect from the comrades of the Kiev plant and its design team.

In Gratitude and Solidarity,
James Dolands
Deputy Secretary of Defense for Procurement, USSW Revolutionary Command Council

OOC question: Czesalrus, do you happen to have a single-seat attack heli, like the KA-50, in the works? I for one welcome the reign of our single-seat, dual-rotor overlords.

And... jesus christ, five-ton payload? Holy mother of god. Please, please make an NSified Ka-50 with this sort of payload.

While I could design a single seater (I more than likely will), I find that two seats are more effective because the pilot has less tasks to perform. The large payload is it's maximum load out in Anti-Tank Role, it usually doesn't have that large of a payload.

I am aware of that argument. However a lot of experts argue in favor of the single-seater. Let's just say if you designed a KA-50 analog for NS you could earn a lot of money off me.

OOC: Just curious, but I'm not sure the fuel range is quite right. I mean, I certainly hope it can fly farther than 2.2 km.:D
