OOC - Welcome to NS. I suggest you read the stickies before posting and try reading some other threads. The stickies can be found at the top of the page. Check them out they are very useful as what you have now would be considered godmoding which is equivalent to cheating. Don't worry though we have had our own bad posts and you can just edit this later.

Actually the standardly accepted limit is 5% and only in wartime as it plays hell with you economy. Theoretically you be like North Korea which has 25% of its citizenship in the military but how is their economy doing?

he is 10% which is perfectly fine, it means he also conscipts, hell even my army does.

[But your army is a conglomeration of godmodding and nonsense figures... how does that in any way justify his?]

As rapidly as the population increases the first few days, within three days the discussion will be moot.

This is a reasonable-sized force for a nation with a population of something around 20 million, to be increased as the population increases.

OOC: Smaller nations, especially totalitarian ones, often have disproportionate armed forces compared to larger ones. Likewise, smaller nations often have poor economies, especially totalitarian ones, and so long as he reflects this there are no issues. As his nation grows in size and economic power, his armed forces will naturally equalise to a more acceptable proportion. Taerkasten barely has 0.5% of their population serving in the armed forces, for example, but still fields more soldiers than his entire population. Years ago when it was smaller, however, the percentage was much higher.
